This is the one that I use and it turns the Xoom into a mini laptop. Never had any problems with it.I bought mine at a Verizon store on sale 8 months ago for $49

Spelling error, i mean you need to sand a small part of the GSM dock to fit your Verizon Nexus as the Verizon nexus is slightly larger compared to the GSM one. Look around here.
go this off ebay for 7.00
How's the effect on signal and NFC?

no effect on signal and I do not use NFC, so I can not comment. It is made of all plastic, so it should not have any negative effects.
Look nice
Looks good, any other styles available?

couple of different styles/colors. just search ebay for galaxy s3 battery cover. they most, all, come from china, so it takes a while to get them. they are listed for the international version, but they fit just fine.
Has anyone tried wireless charging via back cover like this one:

I've seen some phones wear out their micro usb connections.

but does it work on our note 2? (wireless charging)
It's rather simple but putting some work into it, video:

Anyone found another method? Puzzled that Samsung hasn't come up with the 'official' solution.
the tmobile version had a problem with wireless charging though the international version of the note 2 works perfectly fine

Really? I wonder why since it's the same looking interior connections.
powermat.com has the wireless cases/pads but so far only for S3.

I have TmoUS note2 and mine looks exactly the same as posted by the YouTube 19 min video from the guy in the UK, my post above. I'm going to ask powermat.com about n2, not available at their site as yet.

I currently have the 16 gb wifi Nexus 7 (2013). As everyone knows the new LTE model was just made available.
Should I buy a T mobile lte hotspot
Or
The lte Nexus model
PS I have a sprint note 2 and my coverage is terrible, so that's why I'm not tethering from this

I'd say the tmobile hotspot would be more useful as you can tether other devices or share the connection out to other family members. However, it is one additional device to carry around. :victory:

I would think it's annoyance but if I'm going to have my Nexus with me I'm going to have a backpack anyway and a smaller hotspot wouldn't be too bad.... Would it? Lol

You'd be surprised. I can palm the N7 with a single hand and it also fits in quite a few of my walking short front pockets (ie. sliding completely in and out of sight). So I'd say a backpack is not a must with the N7.
Definitely not but it just seems as though I always have a backpack so bringing a small additional device wouldn't add any noticeable additional weight

I would choose the LTE model myself. You should be able to use that as a hotspot to other devices when needed, and the rest of the time you wouldn't have to worry about keeping an extra device charged and watching battery. Just my opinion.

I just wanted to update my post to let you know that there are some conflicting reports on the ability to tether the US version of the LTE Nexus 7, so check that before you make a decision. See the LTE thread in the general section.
