Wireless charging cover - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note II

Has anyone tried wireless charging via back cover like this one:
http://goo.gl/cPWlF
I've seen some phones wear out their micro usb connections.

but does it work on our note 2? (wireless charging)

It's rather simple but putting some work into it, video:

Anyone found another method? Puzzled that Samsung hasn't come up with the 'official' solution.

the tmobile version had a problem with wireless charging though the international version of the note 2 works perfectly fine

Really? I wonder why since it's the same looking interior connections.
powermat.com has the wireless cases/pads but so far only for S3.

I have TmoUS note2 and mine looks exactly the same as posted by the YouTube 19 min video from the guy in the UK, my post above. I'm going to ask powermat.com about n2, not available at their site as yet.

I do not have a problem reading any of the numbers. You can adjust the britnes of the time display to your liking.

I picked it up at Best Buy and I'm impressed. I took offinsert because I'm not a fan of the mounting with it and I used a longer cable that is also thicker. The speakers are impressive for a clock radio. Fm works well too.

Note 3?
I was curious how this dock would work with the Note 3? Will it mount ok or do I have to just lay it to the side?
Does it have to use Bluetooth to play music through it or is it able to do so via the USB connector?
Thanks

Glonass gps support?

Anybody knows if this phone comes with it enabled like the Galaxy S3/Note 2? I know the S4 chip supports it but I keep reading online some manufacturers like HTC and LG disable it. Anyone?

Basically I'm looking to see if this phone has the ability to see the extra Russian satellites. Like this picture, the square ones are glonass. Gps is so great getting locks with the extra sats. Person already has issues with her current phone (gs2) so that's my main reason for checking. If not I guess gs3 it is =(

I owned an s2 before this phone and I can tell you that the Gps in the s2 was crap! The difference in the lock on time between these two phones are night and day.. As far as picking up the extra Russian satellites I'm not sure on.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm just going to go to the Sprint store and downloading gps status on one and see what it pulls. I also need to check the Evo lte since I will be choosing out of these two phones.

Nearly positive it does since it uses the S4 Pro, everything after the S4 should have it built in.

That's exactly what I'm assuming. Although some websites say htc and LG choose to disable it on some devices.

If it's anything like my Note 2 I already know! Those are indeed Russian satellites. I'm already sold on getting her this device just for the fact it's a quadcore plus now it's verified that glonass is enabled. I hope development for this phone picks up asap!

I have to bend my cord up to get my phone to charge. Is this a warranty exchange issue? T mobile take care of this? Just curious while I'm on tonight before I go the t mobile route or Samsung. Searched and saw it's pretty cheap to fix yourself with the right know how

I had the same problem and its not your phone. Its the the cheap charging cable they gave us. Just go out and buy another cable and you'll be fine.

[Q] import backplate for wireless charging?

So I don't think anyone has looked into this yet, but does anyone know if we would be able to import a European backplate in order to enable wireless charging on the US versions? If the quick circle case is all that's needed to enable it I would think that this is another solution as well for those of us that aren't interested in that case.
I'm waiting on my Verizon version and if one of these OEM backplates could be purchased for cheap on ebay.co.uk or a similar site I'd be willing to test this as an option.
I briefly looked into it, starting with how much it would cost me, but when I saw they were going for $60 on eBay, I gave up. LOL!

The charging contacts are in different locations on the international version than the Korean and US versions so it will not work. We have to wait. ?
