I am using latest version of Tapatalk and I am not able to download attachments via Taptalk, however I am able to download them via web browser.
Attachments for example from this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1587209
Do other users have the same problem?
If yes, can forum administration fix this (may be it is required to update Taptalk plugin)...

Does anybody know how can I save zip attachments form gmail app? I don't seem to have problems with other kind of file types. I tried some store apps but no success. For zip files I am not even able to preview it.

Wrong section mate, post questions in general section.
Have you tried androzip?
I don't know how much different behavior it has on WFS, that's why I post it here. I don't have other Android phone, and I don't know if it is general Gmail issue.
androzip seems just like app for archinving. But my problem is that Gmail doesn't allow me to do anything when zip is in attachment, just displays the clip icon and text, which I can not tap or nothing.
additional info:
my Gmail app is v 2.3.6
androzip does not help, also did not help:
AttachEmail
Gmail Attachment Download
Save my Attach
note: in one of the above it stated the option for saving is when i tap preview. I can't see preview on my side.
Try blackmoon attach save.

I have >10 apps installed including blackmoon, and from what I see the problem is i don't have preview in gmail when zip file is attached.
it seems limitation to gmail app:
from gmail help for android 2.3.x:
Support for attachments depends on your device and the applications you've installed.
- Images: On most devices, there's attachment support for images (.jpg, or .png).
- Documents: On some devices, support extends to documents (.doc), spreadsheets (.xls), and PDFs (.pdf).

for images and documents i get download and preview buttons
for apk i get install button
for rar i get preview
for zip i get nothing!
so, can anyone with Wildfire S download zip from gmail app?
Google completely disabled .zip file attachments in Gmail on Android.
Use another mail client for opening zip files, like K-9 Mail.
I'm trying to download ROMS and for most of them it wants me to download iLivid.
I did that and tried pasting in the URL and the program locks up. I read it's maleware.
How do you download files here now ?
This is the thread I'm tryhing to get them for: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1128135
Thanks
Never accept a request to install a program to download a file. These are usually malware / spyware which you should not have on your pc. Download from an alternate source or not at all.

I failed to find a link in that thread which required me to download the program you mentioned.
If you can point it out then I will gladly remove it.

It is the multiupload links, they don't require you to download ilivid download manager, but they make the page to confuse people somewhat so they will click on the adware instead of the download link.

I've found a problem with CM 10.1 Nightly with my Galaxy Nexus.
It's a file association problem. When I try to open any .pdf file (or even .torrent file) it says that there is no application able to load that file. Of course this is wrong because the builtin PDF viewer and the tTorrent Pro for torrent files. It doesn't happen with stock ROM.
Is this a know issue to be fixed in the final release? Because if it's a 'wanted behavior', I'm going to return to stock...
Thanks and sorry for my not-so-elegant English.

Does cm have built in PDF viewer? Try download a different viewer and see if it persists. It's not a problem on my cm 10 galaxy nexus with 3rd party PDF viewer.

What nightly? Logcat? Dmesg? Threads where the op doesn't provide any info should be closed.

Use Download All Files to save it to your sdcard then open it via whatever PDF viewer you choose.

I was speaking about the default PDF viewer (the builtin document viewer that comes with Jelly Bean). Even if the viewer is missing, the same problem happens with torrent files (and I'm sure that torrent application is installed and works).

20130121 nightly. I'm not sure how to provider logcat or dmesg
Anyways it happens with .torrent files and tTorrent Pro is supposed to open the torrent file directly (it works in stock as I said).

I can download the file, the error happens when I try to pen it directly.
I have a method to install the aosp browser without any root privileges at all and no modifications of the system partition. Just involves installing 2 or 3 apks (depending if you want bookmark syncing). This should work on any of the other nexus devices that came without stock browser. This is also an improvement over the root method as it does not break OTA updates even on rooted devices.
Please don't repost this yet. I want to add in the other languages to browser.apk for the "find on page" button in the menu. I fixed English. The stock nexus roms don't have the string in framework-res for this one button.
Download zip (this is not a cwm package/just extract it or open the files from inside)
http://www.mediafire.com/download/sp3778itcps5iq1/aospbrowser-noroot-blackhand1001.zip
Steps:
1. Use es file manager to browse to system/app and install browserproviderproxy (it will say app not installed, don't worry it worked)
2. Reboot (it will not work without rebooting first)
3. Install Browser4.3_blackhand1001.apk
4. Install ChromeBookmarksSyncAdapter_blackhand1001.apk (this will give you bookmark syncing)

I fixed the link sorry about that.
Modified the procedure to work with this device properly. Turns out the signatures on the one file differ between devices.

Thanks for this. Works very well on my devices.
Updated it so the autocomplete dropdown no longer has the blue line glitch. The style definition for the dropdown is missing on the stock nexus 7 rom so I copied it and put it in the browser itself and pointed to it there.
Added User agent selection in advanced preferences.
Full screen option in labs.
when u say install browserproviderproxy in system/app, do you mean install the one found in the nexus7 directory, or the one in your zip file?

The one on the nexus 7 directory. I updated the download link. It now has user agent selection and a fullscreen mode in the labs menu. The link was pointing to an older version that still had the browserproxyprovider file in the zip. You need to use the one on the device already.

Perfect on new Nexus 7
THANK YOU. This worked PERFECTLY on my new nexus 7. I love the tablet but for me Chrome is nowhere near as good and useful as this stock browser, so thanks a lot.

Since I was rooted anyhow, I ended up using the root AOSP Browser installation app from the market.
We will see if the bookmark sync works with that (it's supposed to)
