Hi to all
I have a problem with my rooted kindle fire.
when I open the kindle it gives me the yellow triangle, the green light turns orange by it self ( with out me pressing any the button ) and go to recovery .
I tried to do every thing with my kindle, like formating and install the rom again.
but nothing worked for me.
and still take to recovery every time.
I need your help please
After rebooting the system from recovery does it then boot into the system? And what bootloader are you using?
---------- Post added at 04:53 PM ---------- Previous post was at 04:46 PM ----------
I guess I should also ask what rom you are using and which version of recovery?
Edit: sorry I can see your using the old fff bootloader
---------- Post added at 05:04 PM ---------- Previous post was at 04:53 PM ----------
But answer the other questions please rom? And just an assumption your probably using twrp 2.0?

It's a bug of prior versions 2.1.1 of TWRP. You can change boot mode in KFU. I urge you to flash new version of FFF as well as TWRP for ease of your life. Just select them in KFU.

I have a back up file since it was on the original ROM.
but I back up I can do nothing because it takes me to recovery.

should I try updating the fff for now ?
link is probably right use kfu to reset your bootmode to normal if adb status is online

KFU is "Kindle Fire Utility" and you are running it right now.
It has a "Bootmode" menu. Select it.
You will then see a "Normal" item. Select it.
This will set your bootmode to normal so you don't end up in recovery all the time.
Read this for some basic concepts about how your Kindle Fire works...

When you can get your Kindle Fire to boot normally again, look at this...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1500935
At a minimum, upgrade your TWRP to 2.1.1 using the script above. Also consider upgrading FireFireFire to 1.4a.
Im reading that thread, I will do it and the I will tell you the result .

I flashed the rom in a normal way.
wipe wipe wipe the flash
online is good select 1 in kfu bootmode menu then select 1 again normal

Hey there guys. Issue is I rooted and installed AOKP on my kindle fire. I installed it (but not the gapps) and realized I had not wiped /data/ and /cache/, so I did through CWMR. It froze. After about 10 minutes, I decided to risk it and forced it to shut down by holding the power button. I can get it to boot into AOKP, but it runs really slowly for about 5 seconds then stops altogether. I tried to wipe /data/ and /cache/ in CWMR again, but, as soon as I booted into it, it gave me all these "cannot find /cache/recovery/command" and the like messages (about 5) before showing me options. When I tried wiping /data/ and /cache/ it said that it could not mount /data/ or /cache/. I then decided to try and restore my backup of stock, but when I did it said it could not mount /sdcard/. I then replaced CWMR with TWRP via fastboot (which does work), but TWRP won't get past the splashscreen. ADB does not work in either the Rom nor in TWRP, but I can issue fastboot commands. I have tried the Firekit LiveUSB repair kit as well as manually deleting userdata, cache, and media through fastboot. I have deleted and replaced recovery via fastboot as well as replacing boot with hashcode's boot.img from his latest kernel.
None of these seem to have done the least thing (except replacing CWMR with TWRP which changed the recovery to TWRP but still doesn't let anything work). I'm afraid to ask it, but have I BRICKED an impossible-to-brick tablet?
PS: My bootloader is FFF V1.2.
That is because you used cwmr to flash it and no twrp get back into recovery and restore your backup and replace cwmr with twrp cwmr has been pulled

When ever I turn on my kindle fire it first boots up to TWRP v2.6.3.1. Then I have to reboot it to the system. When it finally boots to the system stock 6.3.2 after 5-10 seconds it will turn off and boot into TWRP again. When it is in TWRP it doesn't reboot after 5-10 secs. I've tried using KFU and fastboot/adb command to try to boot it to normal boot. It still reboots. After that I've tried install CM11. After about 2 hours on it it didn't reboot. So I figured I should try a modded stock 6.3.2, but that still reboots after 5-10 secs.
Any ideas on how to fix? I can't seem to figure it out even after reading Kindle Fire For Beginners.
You could try restoring my nandroid backup in twrp, link in my list

I'm having the same problem. In my case, the cause appears to be the 6.3.3 OTA trying to flash, but it fails. I've yet to figure out how to prevent it from trying.

I don't recommend using KFU once you have a working TWRP.
Use a TWRP installable bootloader (zip file) like [bootloader][05-26] FFF 1.4A bugfixes + new look + recovery boot [.zip file size]

I guess I'll probably use a custom ROM then. I had permanent root with super user installed a while back from KFU . What would happen if I updated? Would that brick my KF? If I did update I could always re-flash it with a lower ROM/custom rom with TWRP, correct.

Wait I'm a bit confused. You will lose the recovery and the bootloader once you upgrade? I thought the the recovery and bootloader were stored on a separate partition so even if you upgrade your ROM, losing your root won't affect your separate partitions. Also from reading your post in the other thread, is what I'm experiencing might cause by TWRP since mine is v2.6.3.1 and only 2.2.2.1 can install 6.3.2 stock ROM or its might be caused by what Haus said that OTA 6.3.3 update is causing my reboot.
Kindle updates are not real updates, they are complete firmware files, and reflash bootloader, recovery, and system partitions

Well making a fastboot cable doesn't seem that hard so I made one. I believe I made it correctly. How do I go about testing the cable?
So I rooten and boot unlocked my htc one x and then proceeded to flash cm-11-20140808-NIGHTLY-endeavoru with gapps-kk-20140105-signed and after completing i get to the loading screen all excited just to find out i cant get past it, it just keeps loading endlessly.
I am kinda scared that i bricked it, anyone knows how to get past this loading screen?

How, im a total noob at this.
Download adb and fastboot. Boot your phone to hboot then press fastboot. Now connect your phone to pc. And your phone will tell "fastboot usb". Put the boot.img from the rom zip in the same folder as adb and fastboot. Run fastboot flash boot boot.img and then fastboot erase cachr

Hey,
I've tried to update my Kindle Fire HD 8.9 to the newest CM11 version, but I wasn't careful enough to update my TWRP 2.4.4.0 beforehand to the newest version, resulting in a Kindle that is stuck in recovery (TWRP).
I managed to load with ADB the newest TWRP version (2.7) on the device, but I can't seem to be able to install the file from TWRP (it only recognizes the CM11 and Google apps files in the folder, but not the kfhd8-twrp-2.7.0.0-recovery.img file I loaded).
Any chance anyone knows to make this happen so I can get back to using the Kindle?
(unfortunately, I failed to do a backup and I don't want to wipe everything since I have a quite a few files that I won't be able to restore)
Thanks!
