Suggest a kernel with stock 4.0.4 - Samsung Galaxy Nexus

Hello there, can someone suggest what kernel would add nice performance and some battery life on stock 4.0.4 (yakju biuld) ?
I've read almost all KERNEL threads, and I'm closed to two choices:
1. oo7 kernel
2. FuguMod kernel
What do you think of above? Also, can you provide some scr shots of batt life with kernel which you suggest?
Thanks!

I'm running stock 4.0.4 too. I use franco's kernel. Smooth and great battery life.

Can you put some screenshots of batt usage and display time on if you have?

Here you go. Im using franco kernel too.

franco.kernel updater also features a powersave mode - could save some additional percent battery...

LeanKernel FTW.
But this is all based on OUR phones.
And OUR opinions.
Try a few out.
Keep them for at least a day before deciding.

@Trixnix
Good usage. I decided to try bond's kernel and after first cycle I've got 4h 28mins of display.... So, good as franco's as I see
Yep, sure phone is new and ready to be "tortured" with kernels...

Most stable / fast CM7 Kernel out?

I've been doing research for days and still haven't came up with a kernel to use. Im rooted and running cm7 for about 3 weeks. I have been getting random reboots, probably 2-3 a day at random times. Ive tried the wifi sleep to never and that hasn't seemed to fix anything. I have read that switching to a different kernel may fix my problem. And since I have used the stock kernel for the beginning I think its time to change to something fast, stable, and possibly better battery life. So the more the better, but please list the best kernel to use with CM7 and the download link for it. Thanks

Personally I like the incredikernel. Its fairly stable and provides the smartass governor with havs, so you get very good battery life.

So your not having any reboot problems with that kernel?
The problem with CM7 and our device is that Gingerbread uses a 2.6.35 kernel with updated usb drivers, among other things. The inc has only officially been updated to .32.17, so slayher had to backport the necessities to the stock kernel source (stock cm7 kernel). There was an effort by several devs to bring our device out of the dark ages, up to .35 for Gingerbread, and now several have branched off to .37
So, my advice would be to test a couple out. They are all still in beta stages, so it's up to you really.

[Q] CM9 Alpha 5 FF11 Kernel/Modem Battery Issues (with screenshots)

Hi all,
I figured it would be easier to make a post then send to IRC rather than pasting a bunch of pictures.
Background-
Installed Phatom's CM9Alpha with FF11 Kernel/Modem (Did a fresh install)
Fully charged phone and I'm getting battery drops shown below (including Better Battery Stats, CPU Spy and a 3rd).

ok is your post to say your battery life is good or bad. If you are stating you have terrible battery life you would honestly be like the 1,000th person to make this claim for CM9. At this point its pretty well documented in the CM9 thread as well as all over this forum. My suggestion would be to simply change roms since it does not seem like we will be seeing accommodating battery life for people until we get a hold of the kernel source.
In the Cm9 thread there are a few tricks to get a little more out of your battery, It may or may not work for you. I suggest you give that thread and a Google Search a try. Just so you know I am not trying to mess with you but seriously I see this question all over the place. I personally just tried Juice Defender but did not see any change so ya know what my choice is deal with it or move on. I choose to deal with it...
The choice is yours - Good Luck

question on battery usage

i use the one click to odin my phone to 2.3.6, using SPH-D710.EL29_CL852097_ROOTED-OneClick.exe.
I found that the battery will last a lot longer than any other roms that I have try, and i have try alot, from 2.3.7 to 4.1, to 4.3 and 4.4.
From 100% battery, most of the roms that i try, my battery will be off in the morning. The 2.3.6 rom still have 40% battery in the morning.
Anyone have similar finding?

Yes. It's always going to be that way. The added services in Jelly Bean take up more battery (Google Now, etc.) It's just a choice you gotta make for yourself. Though there are things to improve your battery life on Jelly Bean ROMs, such as DS Battery Saver and Greenify (both free in the Play Store)

best custom roms for galaxy note 7 ?

i was wondering if theres a good tw based rom to improve performance with stock android look with all the s pen features
any help is appreciated
I am using stock romen and just rooted it works like a charm, disabled a bunch of bloatware through Titanium Backup. WAS using Hydra it's rely good too. What Model if your phone?
I tried Hydra 1.1, but i did not like the performance and battery life with it. On the other hand DrKetan's rom is better as of the moment.
BUT there will be a new version of Hydra coming out soon, and from what i gathered the new version fixed the problems that majority of users are having.
do the themes on hydra or dr ketan support stock marshmallow look
I flashed Hydra 1.1.5 this morning and observed the performance the whole day.
It's na AMAZING rom!
Some test scores using the Hydra V1.1.5 rom with the Hydra kernel
Geekbench
