i use the one click to odin my phone to 2.3.6, using SPH-D710.EL29_CL852097_ROOTED-OneClick.exe.
I found that the battery will last a lot longer than any other roms that I have try, and i have try alot, from 2.3.7 to 4.1, to 4.3 and 4.4.
From 100% battery, most of the roms that i try, my battery will be off in the morning. The 2.3.6 rom still have 40% battery in the morning.
Anyone have similar finding?

Yes. It's always going to be that way. The added services in Jelly Bean take up more battery (Google Now, etc.) It's just a choice you gotta make for yourself. Though there are things to improve your battery life on Jelly Bean ROMs, such as DS Battery Saver and Greenify (both free in the Play Store)

Just yesterday i put on my phone the 4.0.4 google stock version of ICS i was on Android Revolution HD and Foxhound 4.0.4 for a couple of days.
The only thing i can say it wasnt the same of the three i guess was battery life.
what do you guys think? of course there are the tweaks and mods on the roms but as of now i really dont see the difference.
Try out liquidsmooth. I was in the same boat as you originally. Tried Android Revolution and didn't see Mich difference from stock. AOKP and GummyNex were nice but they seemed bloated. I've been using liquid since its release and must say the battery life using lean kernel is beyond stellar, much more than I though possible on this phone. Screenshots included below. I'm averaging about 9 hours with heavy use (streaming MOG radio over 4g, lots of texting, and GPS with endomondo). Just my two cents

I prefer stock. Working really really well right now.
hello everyone
since the release of ICS on Xperia Arc there were many ROMs and Kernels which looks really great and nice
and ever since i got the taste of having my battery on for more then 13 hours
i become hesitating about moving from GB to ICS ROM
so i want to know if there is ICS ROM and Kernel which is good in performance and Battery life (at minimum 13 hours with 3g and wifi on )
hope to get an answer for this question
with best regards
Alawi
Try Arconium ICS + Stock Kernel..
Stock Kernel and official ICS rom here, 3G and wifi on since 7.30am and still over 40% battery life.

Rom and kernal
The Trinity Rom with Cyanogen Mod 9 Nightly is giving me some kickass performance !
@Zubair1024
What about gaming ?
Hello there, can someone suggest what kernel would add nice performance and some battery life on stock 4.0.4 (yakju biuld) ?
I've read almost all KERNEL threads, and I'm closed to two choices:
1. oo7 kernel
2. FuguMod kernel
What do you think of above? Also, can you provide some scr shots of batt life with kernel which you suggest?
Thanks!
I'm running stock 4.0.4 too. I use franco's kernel. Smooth and great battery life.
Can you put some screenshots of batt usage and display time on if you have?

Here you go. Im using franco kernel too.
- Tapatalked
franco.kernel updater also features a powersave mode - could save some additional percent battery...
LeanKernel FTW.
But this is all based on OUR phones.
And OUR opinions.
Try a few out.
Keep them for at least a day before deciding.
@Trixnix
Good usage. I decided to try bond's kernel and after first cycle I've got 4h 28mins of display.... So, good as franco's as I see
Yep, sure phone is new and ready to be "tortured" with kernels...
My gpad the wifi version running Android 4.4.2 got problem in retaining battery. It drains about 4 to 5 percents of the battery when the pad is in idle for about 10 hours. The pad is new so i don't think is the app i downloaded that is causing the problems. It must be something have to do with the manufacturer. Are you folks having the same problems? May be i need to flush it and reload the android to get away the apps installed by the manufacturer. Any ideas? Thanks.
Sound better than average to me (I've had quite a few tablets&phones ... but only have this GTab for 2 days).
that is actually quite good, mine use to lose 10+%.got it to only lose about 2-3% by using clean master.just kill everything when i go sleep.give it a go.
Thanks will give it a try. There are just too much possibilities here. Need an expert to figure it out.
Download App Ops Starter from playstore. Look for apps that keep your tablet from going to sleep and turn off that setting. Also you can turn off their ability to spy on you.

For several past days I'm having issues with battery calibration. T700 drains extremely fast. When battery shows 0% device turns of...OK but when I turn it back on it shows 37% ?!?!
How to solve this?
Using stock rooted ROM.
