Hi, has anyone tried using Verizon 's kickstand case on a gsm Galaxy nexus?
Does it fit nicely?
I'm looking for a hard case that also has a kickstand for my GSM Gnex. And I refuse to get those hybrid tpu ones that are sprawling in ebay.

Stumbled upon this this morning. It says it will work with or without a case, although it is obviously made for the gsm nexus. One review said it wouldn't work with a case, but it seems worth a shot. Anyone try this one?

I have it and it doesn't work with my Qubits or Diztronics cases. The spare battery slot doesn't fit the VZW battery either. Nice dock otherwise.

Looking to get the oem extended battery but want to make sure I can get a good case that will fit.. That cases are you guys using?
Edit: Sorry please mention what version you are using, input on both would be useful for others... I have the LTE version
I have a GSM nexus and I am using the SGP ultra capsule with the extended battery

Rocking a diztronic 3rd Gen smoke case.

GSM with 2000 mAh extended battery with Rev3 Diztronic case.
Also interested, so far I see one case that actually states that it's made specifically for the 2100 mAH LTE extended battery. And it's ugly, as well as expensive (Seido).
I bought a defender after VZ told me it was fine with the extended battery, then found it's really not, the fit is snug enough to break the inner plastic case.
Using otter box defender with the 2000mah battery without any problem.

I'm also running on LTE with the 2100mAh extended battery in the otterbox commuter, fits with almost no difference
I'm using the Verizon TPU case, fits perfect
Siedio innocase that Verizon had. There is a small gap.... buy I cut out some of the rubber for a sealed fit

I haven't seen too many holster solutions, but I know Seidio has one specifically made for use with the extended battery.

I just received the Seidio in the mail. Yes it's expensive at $50.00 but I love the all black lightweight design with the holster. It feels great in hand and fits the extended battery like a glove. The reason I chose it over the otterbox is because the Seidio adds very little bulk. I've owned a few Seidio's in the past and they are built to last.

From what I have gathered, the GSM Nexus with extended battery fits the Otterbox Defender but the LTE Nexus will not fit it with the extended battery.
My GSM is a little loose in my Defender, ordered an extended battery and that should fit it perfectly.
Another vote here for diztronic. It fits well with the extended battery.
I've taken mine out of the case though, and I won't ever be going back. With the extended battery, the phone feels and looks too good without a case.
Where can I find extended battery for the GSM version?

Is this just a holster or a case and holster?

It works well on both
If I were to purchase the Seidio 3800mAh extended battery and put it into my Sprint Galaxy Nexus, would I be able to put on a tpu case meant for the original size phone if I didn't use any back cover?

I have the Verizon battery and its not enough. I want more capacity but don't want to have a bulky phone.

FO REALZ!?
That's awesome to hear. Now I know which battery I'm getting. I don't like using anything other than OEM and I don't like extended covers, especially since I'm getting an Otterbox Defender.
