Looking to get the oem extended battery but want to make sure I can get a good case that will fit.. That cases are you guys using?
Edit: Sorry please mention what version you are using, input on both would be useful for others... I have the LTE version
I have a GSM nexus and I am using the SGP ultra capsule with the extended battery

GSM with 2000 mAh extended battery with Rev3 Diztronic case.
Also interested, so far I see one case that actually states that it's made specifically for the 2100 mAH LTE extended battery. And it's ugly, as well as expensive (Seido).
I bought a defender after VZ told me it was fine with the extended battery, then found it's really not, the fit is snug enough to break the inner plastic case.
Using otter box defender with the 2000mah battery without any problem.

I'm also running on LTE with the 2100mAh extended battery in the otterbox commuter, fits with almost no difference
I'm using the Verizon TPU case, fits perfect
Siedio innocase that Verizon had. There is a small gap.... buy I cut out some of the rubber for a sealed fit

I haven't seen too many holster solutions, but I know Seidio has one specifically made for use with the extended battery.

I just received the Seidio in the mail. Yes it's expensive at $50.00 but I love the all black lightweight design with the holster. It feels great in hand and fits the extended battery like a glove. The reason I chose it over the otterbox is because the Seidio adds very little bulk. I've owned a few Seidio's in the past and they are built to last.

From what I have gathered, the GSM Nexus with extended battery fits the Otterbox Defender but the LTE Nexus will not fit it with the extended battery.
My GSM is a little loose in my Defender, ordered an extended battery and that should fit it perfectly.
Another vote here for diztronic. It fits well with the extended battery.
I've taken mine out of the case though, and I won't ever be going back. With the extended battery, the phone feels and looks too good without a case.
Where can I find extended battery for the GSM version?

Anyone know if a case with belt clip is available for an s3 with the Hyperion battery and back plate? I wear scrubs at work and don't have pockets so I am looking for a solution!
Thats always the problem with extended batteries.. hardly any cases for people who need them..the only thing suitable is the seidio extended battery and holster.. but thats gonna cost ya,, lol
There was a post and a photo somewhere in the cases section that the belt holster from seidio active does a good job with the extended case from hyperion

I have the 4500 mah battery and door from accessory swamp. Actually I think the door is the same as the hyperion. I bought the honeycomb tpu case for the hyperion and it fits. Anyway I bought the seidio extended holster and it works fine with or without the tpu case on the extended battery cover. I use it naked. I'll post some pics tomorrow if I get time. Feels pretty solid, maybe a little play side to side but nothing to worry about.

I bought the battery and it's awesome. Just love it with my s3, but can't find a good, solid case that makes me feel like my phone is actually protected.
Bought the Hyperion Honeycomb.... Meh... Fits ok, but not perfect and flimsy tpu.
Bought the qcell tpu cover... Fits perfect, but I don't feel like my phone is protected well and it gets really dirty... And won't clean.
Any ideas?? Thanks!!

I have the hyperion extended battery, I think we're out of luck with protective cases for extended batteries.

Go with the seidio set. Hyperion QCell Anker fit in it. Check bottom of first post.

If I ever decide to start using my Qcell 4200, I will go for this one for sure.
I like the otterbox commuter but I'm worried about the case with the extended battery. I mainly want the plastic outside so that it does not pull out my pocket inside out when I take it out. I kinda like the amzer hybrid case but curious about the fitting with the extended battery.

I don't know if it's the same for the Sprint variant, but the Commuter fits my GSM Galaxy Nexus with the official Samsung extended battery just fine.
I am looking to purchase a new case for Hyperion battery, since I do not like the silicone case for it.
If you are using and know of any other cases then please share

I doubt anyone but Hyperion made a case that fits around their battery. Personally I'd ditch the hideous looking Hyperion door and pick up the official Samsung 3000mAh battery kit and a Diztronic Extended Battery Case, assuming you want a thin device with 50% more juice I never understand why third parties have to make such ugly doors for their batteries.

Check Amazon, I searched the other day and I believe there were at least two cases that claim to fit hyperions battery.
Sedio Extended case with stand
I have sedio case and battery cover and I am satisfied with it

I purchased the trident electra because it has an extra Batt on board. Unfortunately, this coupled with stock oem battery wasn't enough. So i modded the case to fit both the trident batt and the HyPerion. I think the case is big enough to hold the zero lemon, which is what I'm going to eventually put in. Also, it only took about 10 minutes with a razor knife and straight edge.
I like that it doesnt look like a sled, or boat. Don't get me wrong is still Big.

Anybody got links to cases for our phones with these batteries? I've got both the hyperion and zerolemon on constant rotation with a wall charger. Love these batteries ....hate the boring cases. Any ideas??
Sent from my SCH-I535 using xda app-developers app
I am very interested in this also. I am thinking about buying the zerolemon 7000mAh Extended Battery but don't know if the included case looks good or not. I already have a anker 4400 battery but the cheap Hong Kong honey comb case I bought sucks. I read about the Seidio active case but it's expensive imo because we have to buy the Seidio cover door also. Meanwhile I read about the Laza RuggedFusion hybrid case, looks promising, did you know it?
Just bought mine tonight. Will get it in 3 days. So stoked.

Looks good. It's the pebble blue phone but which color combination is the case?
Do you recommend the case over the zerolemon included case which comes with their 7000mAh Extended Battery?
Do the buttons work ok? I am undecided between this case, the Seidio back door and Seidio Extended case or the zerolemon 7000mAh Extended Battery With case.
Thanks

The Hyperion case for the 7000 has a power button alignment issue.
