Boost doesn't have 4G.
And Metro PCS uses LTE for it's 4G.
So no.

It's 4g on prepaid though. For those who can use it it's a nicer option for a dirt cheap prepaid plan.

I worked for ericsson and boost uses the same CDMA equipment that sprint does. So they are pretty much the same.

Technically...there is a way and I am using it! I forgot where I learned "How To" do this at but as always if you search you will find, or PM me....Since Clear internet is the Same as Sprint you can at anytime activate your Wimac ID on Clear as a wimax ready laptop and just pay for the plan....of course there are also some settings you will have to change in your phone! I am currently using a Sprint Epic 4G Og flashed to Cricket with working Wimax through Clear....

Ok i thought someone posted this before but it had turned up to be a cm9 bug. Well im running the phantom blazers Rom version 1.4 and i was talking on the phone using GPS and missed my turn. It rerouted me with no data connection error. I then opened up the browser and went to xda's website with no issues. Actually seemed faster then normal. Click on a new thread that i have never been on and pulled it up no problem. I am in Ohio so no lte plus it's disabled. What's the deal?? It showed 3g the whole time.....

I'm not sure if the system will work like that. I think depending on the donor phone. The system creates a working 4G for your phone. For example, if you used a normal LG 3G based phone. The system does not register you as a working 4G phone. Just my 2 cents.

i actually flashed mine to boost and have so much truble... first of all my brother has sprint airave and that interferes with my phone. cant text make nor receive calls. it only works when i leave the house.. the bad thing is that i work under some apartment buildings and someone has an airave which is bad for me...
Does anyone knows if there is a fix to this..????

There should be no reason you to have issues at home because your brother has sprint. I have many friends that have boost that come over a lot without issues. Perhaps something on your settings are wrong when you flashed it.

Actually sprint/boost/Nextel are CDMA and T-Mobile is GSM.
You will need a GSM service for T-Mobile branded phones.

Yes i agree. I gave my old phone to a friend from columbia and she got the 15 a month for unlimited text and like 10 cents a minute. or you could get the T-Mobile prepay unlimited web (throttles after 5GB) text and 100 minutes. Its only 30 a month and can be dropped whenever.
thanks guys i have messaged him on FB with this
http://www.phonearena.com/news/Simp...-for-50-per-month-no-strings-attached_id33617
I have it and I don't get throttled. But I cannot confirm as I never have even gone over 2 GB
And I get 12mbps down and 700kbps up on average. It really depends where you are though. Some get 22 and 4mbps

I'll never understand why companies do this (own several different brands). All it does is decrease the effectiveness of your marketing. Why does GM need to sell 20 different midsize vehicles all under different brands? Why does sprint need Virgin and Boost.

Having different brands can be easier than trying to explain the differences between your products. For instance, Sprint's offerings have features like roaming, nights and weekends, mobile to mobile, LTE, etc, while Virgin Mobile doesn't. It's probably less confusing for the average consumer to view two brands than to have Sprint explain, "This is a 300 minute plan, but it's not the same as these other plans because it's missing these features." Instead, Sprint gets to market VM as a full service provider to people who don't know what they're missing.
