I discovered the .TAR file for ODIN for anyone that needs to put 5.0.2.7 on their phone as recommended by MOST of the Chef's.

Hey guys, i was wondering if any one has a tar file of any clockwork mod recovery that i can flash in odin. I've searched all of the recovery threads in the dev section and it seems that all of the tar files have been pulled.
I tried to flash the newest Rogue recovery (stock EL13 1.1.2) and it didn't take. I am now stuck on stock recovery. I tried to use rom manager to flash clockwork but it not working, i also tried to rename the recoveries that i have in zip format to update but they keep giving the signature error.
Any help would be appreciated.

i just installed twrp...how do i go back to cwm the safest way? should i just go into recovery with twrp and flash the cwm recovery tar file and reboot?

That should work. I have used Mobile ODIN to flash back and forth between recoveries. You can find ODIN flashable files here.
Hello i am needing to update my clockwork recovery as it is out of date.
But RomManager is not working for me, it downloads the recovery and says it flashes it but it doesent flash it, it's downloading 6.0.4.3 and when i boot into recovery my phone still says im running clockworkmod recovery v6.0.1.2
I don't mind manually doing it but u cant flash a .img file u can only install zips?
So can somebody help me update it, or get it to work please.

Had the same problem so I converted the .img recovery file to a .tar.md5 for ODIN. The file is linked to this post I'm the cm11 thread.

Does anyone have a copy of the newest CWM .tar file? I need it to flash in Odin to get my phone out of soft brick. Can't use TWRP, keep getting errors and can't flash my phone back to stock, get errors there too. Tried downloading the newest CWM .img file and converting it but have no success there either. This is my last hope........
Newb here to Odin/Philz.
I have a zip containing recovery.img. I think Odin v3.07 is looking for a tar or md5. anyone know how I need to proceed? Looking to change the recovery to try out CM 12.1.
Before I get slammed to RTFM, and search is your tool, which perhaps I deserve, I have been searching, and the only downloadable copy of Philz I have found for d2lte/d2spr is "philz_touch_6.57.5-d2lte.zoip", which has the .img inside it.

If I remember right the philz_touch_6.48.4-d2lte.zip is a flashable zip. No need for odin.
Edit: I just noticed the name of your zip is different from the one I use but a tar is what you would normally use in odin.
If it's a flashable zip, how would I load it onto a stock rom?
All the threads I have read so far say to load a bootloader from Odin, but no mention of Philz, only CWM or TWRP. I assumed that Philz would be the same, but I found a thread which is the "official" Philz thread, and the link within it for the file is dead.
I just reread the thread, and it says "Flash the above in recovery and then do a "reboot recovery" to get into Philz Touch!"
Would that be the stock recovery?
