Battery percentage! Help please - Galaxy Y GT-S5360 General

I'm experiencing a weird error... the battery percentage has been shown wrong.. I'm using chobits 1.8+ merruk pre 2.0...the performance is good but even weird thing is that I had 43% battery once , rebooted the phone to get 65% and another reboot it shows 90% now once I had 3% battery which lasted for an hour..
I did calibrate my battery but am still getting this issue.. Any assistance could be appreciated..

Just use right method
Fully drain ur battery
(make sure phone boots and then swich off Do that 2 - 3 times to sure)
Then charge ur battery 100% in swich off mode
Dont remove ur charger
And wipe battery status via cwm
Boot ur phone and charge 100% and done

Battery App. Calibration

Battery Application Calibration Doesn't Work I was @ 40% and flashed CM.MTD.RONIN8 and once upon boot up 9% seriously???
Ill Stick to my Manual Way, Anyone else have this issue even after calibration?

Mine did that me last night while I was flashing. It went down to about 11% rebooted and it was 69%

That is a clockwork/battery stats bug. Don't reboot without plugging into a charger below 50%. If you pull the battery and wait a few minutes and put it back in and boot it will go back to where it was.

mines do it ALL the time.. I can be at like 60 something percent and then I will hear the warning message that my battery is under 15 percent.. I can be at like 40 percent and reset my phone and it will be at like 8 percent.. I use the "Battery Calibration" app at least once a week to try and fix it.. and nothing.. I also have tried it on more then one battery and same thing..
Hey kenny, allow me to help with this one. Charge ur phone completely being on first and then off. Once its done, boot into cwm and wipe ur battery stats. Then reboot and use ur phone till it completely dies

[Q] Arc S battery issue

I have Arc S and I have used Arconium ICS 4.0, 2 months ago without any problems for while.
Now after 2 months without using phone at all I decide to charge phone and when it was fully charged I did factory reset.
After factory reset phone shows 100% battery and after some use (10-20 min) it drops directly to 0% and shutdown. When I connect to charger it goes directly to 100% and works while (10-20 min) and goes again directly to 0% and shutdown.
I tested stock 2.3.4 and some other customs roms (ICS ones), all does same. I never flashed 2.3.2 that might cause 0% issue.
So, is this still 0% issue or might it be just bad battery?
Been monitoring battery with Fuel Gauge fix apk without 0% patches to kernel and it shows battery drains normaly but phone just stick in 100%.

Battery Issue

Is there anyone who is having that same problem .. My battery charge drops drastically after a restart . is that normal????
Sent from my GT-I9082 using xda app-developers app
It's normal if you recently have clean installed any custom ROM on your phone. The battery will be automatically calibrated after a few charging cycles, don't use battery calibration apps because they have no effect whatsoever.
Can also be caused by old/damaged battery and need battery replacement.
just charge ur phone for like 2 hours here and there for a few days and the you will notice sharp battery lifes on any custom rom...p.s dont overcharge!
Thanks a mill guys for the reply .. Am glad to know nthn is up w my battery .
