Unfortunatly you can't change the splash screen until we have s-off :-(

Kinda like how Phromik was interested in seeing all your home screens, I'd be interested in seeing peoples custom boot screens.

not the boot screen, the boot ANIMATION. the one that on the default has the scrolling "android". if you want to know how to change it on non-hero builds, check out the tutorial I made. the link to it is in my signature.

Eyes do not flash it's just the first screen that you see then it's the normal android bootup after that. But if you want to grab it feel free. My girl actually gave me an idea for one but have not had time to work on it yet might do it later this week.
maybe off topic idk

the thread in this forum that saus "post your boot images here" has all the instructions you need to change the splash screen.
Juggalo Animation
For any Redwings fans
I made this for my animation earlier.
It's from a picture of my Halloween costume from last year. A clown with a chainsaw. The shine makes a neat effect in the ring around the picture.
Hi, I have a question, is it possible to display the weather lookscreen as in the screenshot
if so, how?
Nope, that's full sense 4, the v only has lite
Sent from my HTC Desire HD using XDA
In the weather settings, you can select the option for 'Weather alerts - Show weather on lock screen every morning' which I've found will appear the first time you access the phone after 6am each morning, but doesn't appear to be any other options to get it on your lockscreen permanently

Yup I have done the same... I think HTC One V is not capable of showing wheather animations.
it's sad ... as one v does not support the full sense 4? ie on this phone is not a complete sense? complete requires more resources from phone? Why so?

sense 4 is designed more for a phone with better gpu such as one S or one X. that's why sense 4 was not released until this ONE series. it's a shame but I guess that in time when one V will have some developers, a full sense will appear for you guys and it will work flawlessly no matter what HTC was thinking when they strip to bone the sense for one V.
I will buy this phone in one month I can't wait !
Just wait a little longer until we have cwm recovery and some interested devs. We'll get an overclock kernel and a full sense 4 port from either the one s or one x.

yeah. One V will benefit from devs from X and S which is awesome (I can think one kernel dev from one X - currently on hero - riemer, but he said that kernels will differ from one x or one s to one v)... Full sense will be possible on One V also, it just needs a custom recovery. Anyone can do a port if he has patience and the right tools. If I get the phone I will more than sure get my hands full to make some ports...
certainly not true that one v cut a functional sense, most likely because the model is not the flagship, but we will wait custom firmware for our developers in the near future with a full sense
Interesting that sense 3.6 on the sensation has some features that are missing on sense 4 on the one v.
This ROM : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1639634
Will put full lockscreen sense on its next version. So just wait
yep, but i can't download this rom from uploading.com
there are also normal exchangers, why is this? waiting for the mirror

Can someone port this to stock rom?
Is it possible to change the splash screen with the Galaxy s3? I know how to do it with the HTC variants.. but Samsung is a new monster.

Hi, folks!
I'm kinda new to the XPeria S - got mine yesterday - but not to the community: had a Motorola Defy for over 2 years before the XS, and a HTC Magic before the Defy, both dealing with flashing on a weekly basis. My question is: on both my previous Android phones, changing splash screen (the one that appears before boot animation) was quite simple: on Magic, pushing a file via adb or fastboot (can't remember now), and on Defy a multi-purpose app did the trick. On XS, though, splash screen seems to be tied to the kernel image. I'd like to know if there's any way to change that, since I really want a splash screen of my choice, instead of the one chosen by the kernel dev. Thanks in advance.

Hello Community,
I try to make a Bootanimation - Remember - it's an ALPHA - The Camera control is not important at the moment and will be edited later.
So i need some Tips and creative ideas to finish it. At first - it will only avaible as Video. I have each frame but not ready for a Bootscreen.
Ideas and possible Features:
- Put Emitter in the Animation
- Put Music in the Animation (someone Ideas?)
You can see a Preview (Alpha 0.1) here:
Please leave me a comment - if you think the idea is great - say it and i try to work harder and harder on it to make it better and improve your eyes on Booting your HTC.
See you - SharinerLP (Björn)
Idea is good, but i dont like the font of "quietly brilliant", imo its better with the normal font that htc uses, also its a bit too long for a boot animation.
But these are just my thoughs
