Is this right? Because i payed the deposit and everything on the day i activated my phone. i knew the first bill would be more then the rest, but this much? i put 577 on my account so i wouldnt have to worry about the bill for a while, and it going from that to 343 seems a bit much

Sprint pre-bills contract users. The prorated charges are for the month you just used, the next month is for the upcoming month. It looks like there was a remaining balance of $10 when that bill was printed.
Expect the following:
$69.99 plan charge
$10 premium data fee
$8 for TEP
$4.99 for having a spending limit
$12 for taxes and fees (estimate)
That comes to about $105 per month.
I would suggest getting a plan discount ASAP. If your employer or school doesn't have a discount set up, the credit union discount is a common one http://www.lovemycreditunion.org/Sprint-169.html
After 12-24 months of paying your bill on time, you can ask to speak to the finance department about removing the spending limit, and thus the fee.
If you could do it over, I would suggest getting an Everything Plus Referral Program plan, which is $59.99 and generally wouldn't have a spending limit. Also, if you paid full price for your phone, I am really shocked. Amazon offers it for 1 cent with a new contract, and Wirefly for $50.00.

Call up Sprint (*2), navigate to Billing, tell them you are a credit union member, and ask for the discount. Should be pretty painless and will appear on your bill in 1-2 cycles.
Lol looks normal for first bill.. pro ration and month in advance.. activation fees also there.. agree on the discount part but whats that about the spending limit? I just got my deposit back for bein there over a year

Sprint reserves the option to charge any account with a spending limit a fee. Accounts opened before that change tend to not have the fee.
That seems a bit too much being that you did a payment for 577. I just brought a friend over to sprint a few months back and her 1st bill with the prorated fees was like $150 and then about 90 bucks a month after that.. With the payment you did and this new charge ur up to like 900. That's like 3-4 times my bill and i have 4 lines
Edit: idk i would call sprint just to make sure if that was my bill lol

Thank you so freaking much! i just got my confirmation email about my discount status and its all said n done. the thanks button cannot thank you enough lol.
Glad I could help. The discount will only apply to the plan, not everything like it used to.
At one point, I had the $30 SERO plan with a 30% discount. I was so sad when that disappeared.

Yeaaa, I don't think SERO is around any more.
Ya, SERO is long gone. There is another plan for friends and family members. But, it is in your sponsers name. So, if you don't pay your bill they would know and they would be responsible for it. I wouldn't think anyone would chance it for someone online. Plus, from time to time they change requirements. A few years ago there was a limit of the number of family members. If they reincorporate a limit that would really suck if it was used by people you didn't even know.
And, if anyone on the plan is behind on their bill no one can upgrade their phone until the bill is caught up.
Like the previous poster said. No one would chance it.
The Advantage Plan(s) details and fine print have changed quite a bit, and even a little more since I was hired last year.
We can have up to 30 lines, which is pretty wonderful! But only 1 personal line is FREE (other lines we could open cost $40 a month for unlimited everything) and 1 tablet (accessory) line, with an optional hotspot, etc.
More-or-less, that is some risky business for anyone who would be willing to provide that information via the internet.

Thanks for this information. However, the "Everything Plus Referral Program Shoppers Private Store" for the Philadelphia location prices are exactly the same as the standard store...
I still have SERO which needs to be changed to "SERO Premium" to activate a decent phone. They've nerfed SERO a lot in the past few years, it's still slightly better than a 25% corporate discount but not by much. Hardly worth the hassle to get it now IMO. Find a 25% corporate discount which is almost as good. You'll pay a few bucks more but suffer less inconvenience doing things like upgrading phones.

ok....did you log into the referral site 1st and then tried to compare the Philadelphia prices. If so clear your browser cache because it saves the referral info. The last time i checked, it was at least a $10 discount $69.99 for everything data 500 and $59.99 thru the referral site. I know if you go to certain schools or work for certain companies you would be eligible for a % of your bill.

All corporate discounts actually require you to have an email registered with our system for verification (aka @ibm.com email for me) Or if your email isnt recognized you have to fax/email in a form with proof of employment with that company, IE badge, Paystub and so on. Its a hassle but really cracks down on stores just throwing discounts on customers account for waste management (used to be sprints highest at 30%) And giving their customer discounts they really aren't eligible for.
Also on a side note a 70 year old man called me a tool in the corporate machine today because I wouldn't adjust his valid voice overages, then called in later and tried to tell an agent he was terminally ill and we should cancel his account...

I've never had a problem with sending in proof for my corporate discount. However, I do actually work for the company I say I do and my discount is pretty nice. It is offset a little by the 10 dollar premium data bull because it doesn't work half of the time. Eh, you win some, you lose some.

Buy it and go to straight talk/Simple mobile
Last week on T-Mobile website, I saw a discount of around $115 if I extend my contract to 2 years, but without contract extention I pay the full price. I was just 1 year through my current contract. Since I want to get the phone right away, I went to a T-Mobile store and they put me on value plan at $74.99 5GB from my previous Classic plan of $79.99 2GB. I paid $229.99+tax outright and $20 monthly payments for 20 months and my contract extended to another 2 years. Seems to me a really good deal to have 5GB plan at a lower monthly rate and the installment spread out in 20 months without interest if you are to pay full price. They also waived the $18 upgrade fee.

T-Mobile is announcing their newest round of back-to-school promotions with, beginning July 11th with a variety of options for new and existing customers to help with back-to-school planning including:
+ Buy-One-Get-One (BOGO) Samsung Galaxy 4G promotion: offers customers who purchase any Samsung Galaxy 4G device a second select Samsung Galaxy 4G smartphone for free.
+ Add a line for $5: When signing up for a new two-year contract on T-Mobile’s Family Classic Unlimited Plan, customers can save by adding additional voice lines for $5/month.
+ $25 in Live Nation Concert Cash: With the purchase of a Samsung 4G smartphone and a no annual contract Monthly4G plan of $50 per month or greater, customers receive $25 in Live Nation Concert Cash which can be applied toward a live concert of their choice.
First up in the back-to-school promo special is the Buy-One-Get-One sale which runs from July 11th, through September 4th offering a special promotion for customers who any buy any Samsung Galaxy 4G device and select a second Samsung Galaxy 4G smartphone free. Unfortunately, it seems that the Samsung Galaxy S III will only qualify as the purchase device, and not the second, free device. That’s not terribly surprising given how new and how in-demand Samsung’s flagship smartphone is now. Instead, with the BOGO, customers will receive a Galaxy S II, Samsung Galaxy S Blaze 4G or Samsung Galaxy Exhibit 4G free after a mail-in rebate card. New and existing customers are eligible to take advantage of this promotion and standard upgrade rules apply for existing customers.
The second major back-to-school promotion this summer from T-Mobile is in the form of a promotional add-a-line plan for T-Mobile’s Family Classic Unlimited plan customers. New and existing customers can save by adding additional voice lines for only $5 a month until January 2nd, 2014.

Yes it's not really free. You need another line with a data plan. You can either upgrade an exiting line that's eligible for an upgrade or you can add a new line that has data.

Exactly, what pisses me off about T-mobile is, once you sign a contract, all the specials for free this and free that are over, they are only out to get NEW CUSTOMERS only. I been with them 8 years now, but I find myself upgrading every 2 years, and almost paying full price every time, and I always ask them, well if I end my contract and re-sign, can I qualify for the special...they reply, Oh no sir, you can't do that. What a crock.
does the deal apply to making a a full price outright purchase of a gs3 and possibly getting a gs2 for free?

you most certainly can cancel and resign. This is what me and my brother have been doing for years due to prices being better for new customers.
Cancel over the phone with customer care. Pay what's left of your bill. Wait for phone to be turned off. Go into T-Mobile pick out new phone and plan. Proceed to jump with joy!

This applies to upgrades too and the only reason you can't get it is if you signed a contract for an upgrade already and your not eligible for upgrade yet meaning waiting 22 months after your upgrade. If this upsets you then you should get real you can't get a phone subsidy then get another right away there is always a time to wait no company hands out discount after discount.

P.S. Would it be fair to buy only to pay +$200 ETF after month1 & go T-Mobile $30/mo prepaid plan as some have suggested?

Are you sure about that? ETFs are generally there to compensate the carrier for the device's subsidy/financing that the contract would have provided hence why ETF have been moving up to $350 on other carriers & why paying for the device in full without that subsidy/financing would not involve contracts on T-Mobile or AT&T..?
In any case it's not exactly fair to screw T-Mobile if they are the last major carrier to raise their ETFs trying to keep up with the rising price of many smartphones..
Still would prefer that the T-Mobile full price comes back down to $650 like AT&T currently is & how T-Mobile originally priced the Note2.

My interest is to find out exactly what my monthly bill will be with any hidden fees. The only difference should be maybe sales tax.
Are we talking.. when you purchase the phone, or your phone bill?
I only paid Tax, which was about 58$
Depending on your plan, it and some services will be reduced. Which should brake close to even.

QUOTE=ilostchild;48014721]so far my bill has been 180 unlim everything for 3 lines...[/QUOTE]
So you're being charged $10 per phone with taxes and fees?
What hidden fees are you talking about? The billing is pretty straight forward,
50 plan
10 data
29.50 equipment
(10 jump) if you added that
1.61 regulatory fee
taxes.
so that's 91.11 not including taxes, or jump, but you won't see that till your second bill they don't bill the phone on the first bill.
?
very easy , for example, you buy the n3 0 down , you paid 50 unlimited talk and message and 10 for 2.5 g data + 29 for the phone x taxes, with not jump 97 with jump and unlimited data 122 approx with taxes.

Okay thanks guys, I'am trying to figure out if I should buy the Note 3 out right or not.
You should be paying the same whether you buy outright or the monthly. The EIP (equipment installment plan) doesn't charge any interest or other fees you wouldn't normally incur. You can pay it off any time too, fyi

Just call tmobile and tell them what you want to know. they'll tell you exactly what your bill will be down to the penny. there are no hidden fees. just remember that "0" down just means you'll be paying more monthly for the device. just like buying a car, 0 down equals to higher monthly payments.

Yes, inmy opinion it is better to put money down. You will pay $708 for the phone no matter what. If you put 0 down then you pay 708 in 24 months. If you put 200 down like me then you pay 508 in 24 months. It just changes your bill total for 24 months is all but you pay the same in the end.

Could someone post their first total billing from Tmobile. Please add up all charges as it appears on the bill. More interested in the "0" down with 24 mo.and 2.5 GB plan. My interest is to find out exactly what my monthly bill will be with any hidden fees. The only difference should be maybe sales tax.

I got the Note 3 with zero down and I am the only person on the plan. I too have the 2.5gig/month data plan. I pay $10 a month for the JUMP program so if you don't pay for that, subtract $10 from the total.
I'm in California so your tax/fees may be different:
Plan/Services: $60.00
Misc. Charges: $11.61 (regulatory fee and JUMP program)
Tax/Fees: $3.23
Equipment payment: $29.50
I pay $104.35 monthly for my Note 3 on T-Mobile while paying zero down for the device.
Hope this is what you were looking for.

On my note 3 with unlimited 70 dollar monthly & jump program I pay 89 dollars. ( But Phone is Payed off )
Sent from my SM-N900T using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
But if you have jump you can trade in after 6 months and the remaining balance of the phone is squashed when you jump to a new phone.. kinda nice.

If you don't want hidden fees but still want the Tmobile service go with Metro Man.
40 bucks a month unlimited everything. ( but not really because they throttle you after 500MB)
60 bucks and you got all the 4G LTE data.
TMobile got teh lamez feez.

Hmmm. Mine is $240 a month for 3 unlimited lines. I do have like $16 a month for my Note 3 in there, along with full boogie insurance for all lines though.
