$48.88 in Sam's Club

Sam's Club in store price of $48.88 for new contracts or renewals. Got one yesterday. Sam's Club does require a membership, they start at $40.

not a bad price for someone set on getting a new e4gt on contract. good share!

The only Samsung phone i see is the galaxy 2. The only phone i know that is called that is the t-mobile phone. It says club price of 580. Am i missing something? Aren't they supposed to be cheaper? Sprint wants 500 full price. Best buy is the same way, more expensive full price than Sprint.

Why would anyone shop at Sams Club? Do you hate the working class or just mom and pop stores? XDA should ban all references to Walmart and Sam Club. I can see why their phones are cheap when they pay their workers peanuts and give the literature on how to get food stamps and welfare.

That's an odd statement, considering the maker of our phones....Samsung- isn't an American owned company and Walmart & Sams club locations are independently owned and operated in large part by Americans...But hey, go ahead and pay retail price if it makes you feel "patriotic".
Personally, I will thank the OP for a helpful hint.

I got this phone last sunday..they also waived activation fee..$36.00, pretty much covers the price of sams club membership

It's listed as Epic 4G Touch on Sam's website but the price is $149.99 online. In store price is $48.88 for new contracts or renewals.

I got mine when it was listed for exactly one day on letstalk for 49.99. Lucked out.

I guess you did. $11 cheaper than Amazon wireless before tax. That 11 is including the 40 for a membership to sams. I suppose if you want to be a **** about it, you could get the membership, buy the phone, leave for a while then come back and say you don't want the membership any more and want a refund. At least their website says you can get a membership refund. I didn't look into the details and conditions for the refund yet.
I'm guessing Amazon wont have tax and get free shipping. If you don't get the refund then its almost the same price after taxes if you get it at sams.

As far as I know you're correct but, that's no reason to hate them. They bring jobs to places that need them. Yeah they don't pay the best but, it's either no job or have a job. In this economy a job is a job.

print Billing Question.....

Is this right? Because i payed the deposit and everything on the day i activated my phone. i knew the first bill would be more then the rest, but this much? i put 577 on my account so i wouldnt have to worry about the bill for a while, and it going from that to 343 seems a bit much

Expect the following:
$69.99 plan charge
$10 premium data fee
$8 for TEP
$4.99 for having a spending limit
$12 for taxes and fees (estimate)
That comes to about $105 per month.
I would suggest getting a plan discount ASAP. If your employer or school doesn't have a discount set up, the credit union discount is a common one http://www.lovemycreditunion.org/Sprint-169.html
After 12-24 months of paying your bill on time, you can ask to speak to the finance department about removing the spending limit, and thus the fee.
If you could do it over, I would suggest getting an Everything Plus Referral Program plan, which is $59.99 and generally wouldn't have a spending limit. Also, if you paid full price for your phone, I am really shocked. Amazon offers it for 1 cent with a new contract, and Wirefly for $50.00.

i went to amazon when they were a penny and it said amazon doesnt process the deposit, so i had to go to a sprint store -.-, n i just signed up, im with the buffalo service credit union, now what?

Call up Sprint (*2), navigate to Billing, tell them you are a credit union member, and ask for the discount. Should be pretty painless and will appear on your bill in 1-2 cycles.

Lol looks normal for first bill.. pro ration and month in advance.. activation fees also there.. agree on the discount part but whats that about the spending limit? I just got my deposit back for bein there over a year

Sprint reserves the option to charge any account with a spending limit a fee. Accounts opened before that change tend to not have the fee.

That seems a bit too much being that you did a payment for 577. I just brought a friend over to sprint a few months back and her 1st bill with the prorated fees was like $150 and then about 90 bucks a month after that.. With the payment you did and this new charge ur up to like 900. That's like 3-4 times my bill and i have 4 lines

Glad I could help. The discount will only apply to the plan, not everything like it used to.
At one point, I had the $30 SERO plan with a 30% discount. I was so sad when that disappeared.

Phone sold weirdly?

I've never done out of country business before. But a guy from Nigeria bought my phone off craigslist. He sent the money through paypal, and paypal can only transfer the money officially if i provide them with a transaction number. He paid $400 for the phone with accessories and $100 for experss shipping. Should i trust this if he already paid me?
but keep in mind i dont get the money until i give paypal the tracking number which is reasonable. But a guy from Nigeria?

It's a scam buddy. They will send you the money through paypal. But once they receives the item, they will open a case against you that they never received it or the item is damaged or something like that. Paypal will side with the buyer 99% of the time.

To be honest I've done a lot of business through PayPal... and what you're saying is a little confusing at best.
Did he already pay and you can see the funds in your PayPal account but cannot withdraw until it has been verified as delivered by tracking number? If not, that's a red flag there. Next, if you're going to send with a legitimate tracking service you're going to need EMS/USPS Express Mail probably. (I used this when sending an iMac to Italy)
Hope this helps - but if you're not comfortable with it I'd say hold off.
(And yes, my personal opinion it's a scam, just a variation of the money order scam.)

Had the exact same scam try to be pulled on me about 6 months back. Never ship anything. Period. Cash in hand.

(they call me Bob by name) and always offer more than your asking plus a huge shipping fee. There is a loophole in papal google it and learn and DONT SHIP THE PHONE!!!

Really? still getting your discount? I hope sprint isn't trying to find an excuse to get shafted by costumers that are post paid.. they aren't exactly the greatest in my area ;p

Thats only to prevent former employees and their friends from remaining on employee discounts. As long as the main account holder is still an employee you still get your discount. As long as you aren't trying to get an employee family and friends discount and there's no employee on the account you have nothing to worry about.

Makes sense! I got my discount from my buddy in Indiana but I've sinced then moved away and I'm sure he still works at his work place but if I have to verify it... it will be awkward talking to him just to keep my 19% discount lol..

I'm on my own plan but under my dad's business discount and they always just call him to verify my eligibility so with and employee I'm sure they'd either call the employee or just check the records to verify they are still employed with them, they are just trying to prevent former employees and their friends and family from using the employee discount when they no longer work there and aren't eligible any more, which technically constitutes fraud anyways since they are obtaining discounted services by fraudulent means

I saw that notice as well and I am on of the people who will be affected by this. This is BS, if you signed up for a friends a family discount many many years ago and no verification was required then, and who knows where that friend is now, why should I lose it? I don't even remember the persons last name it was so long ago.
They have taken away every single benefit that I have had for ten years or more, if I have to pay more for Sprint I am gone. Unlimited is great, no doubt, but I doubt they will stay unlimited once LTE is rolled out.

If you do not work for a company that is eligible for the discount and you are using someone else's discount you do not deserve it. If you want employee prices, then have your friend or family that does have a discount add a line for you.
Just because you know someone who is eligible does not mean you can use their discount on your account.

Well when I signed up my friend provided me with the info/link to sign up and it was no problem then, and it CLEARLY said friends and family on the sign up page. It was so long ago I don't even remember the name of the company.

I know people who work for Sprint, did I use their discount? No. I paid full price just like the majority of Sprint customers.
Yeah it sucks that you're losing the discount that you were never entitled to but quit crying. If it's really so bad go pay full price with another provider. Either way you will be paying full price.

Based on some reviews in the app store some customers on prepaid are having issues.. although the terms state it should work for those on prepaid. YMMV I guess. Pay As You Go does NOT qualify. :fingers-crossed:
Those on a Voice plan also get stock shares. You have 15 days to claim your free share.
You can earn more shares by referring new people to T-Mobile. I believe you can earn up to 100 shares per year.

T-Mobile is currently (and has been all day it seems) getting tanked with server hits. If you open the app and it shows that you have nothing, do not worry. They are aware of the massive amounts of server connections and are taking measures to correct the issue. Your offers will show up once it's all been fixed.
ProTip: Until the app works smooth and without issue for you, DO NOT spin the wheel. The wheel is a place to win additional things from T-Mobile. However, with the high volume of server requests currently, clicking "Play now" will only result in you losing the opportunity to actually spin the wheel. Again, something they are aware of and are working to fix it.

heads up, from what I gathered (and my personal luck) not everyone gets that wheel, others have to break through a wall. Also don't do that yet, I got nothing so that sucks for me haha.

i dealt with the app freezing up and kicking me out all day, eventually it just said "you already played" even though i really didnt.
just checked now and it showed the offers i could redeem so i got the pizza code.. does it only let you redeem one offer or something?

you should have a warcraft ticket that is redeemable, that's your weekly prize. every week you get a free pizza, free frosty, and free rental no matter what, the raffle prize will change to whatever it is that week.

Anyone still doing these? I noticed that you can use the rental value ($5.50) on VUDU toward purchasing a movie. They have a selection of 9 films purchasable in HDX (HOLY CRUD) for $5. Soooo, assuming you like one of those, you can buy a digital copy for free. So far, I've nabbed The Happening (for watching with rifftrax), Blade II, and, the crown jewel, Team America because of this nifty tidbit.

yeah I mean $11 in credit for vudu is nice, it doesn't come with a second stock option though, that would've been cool lol

Wicked... Shame it's still all the same stuff... WAIT, where's the VUDU cred!?

So, the VUDU credit is gone for this week, at least. We all got our free Pokémon Go data, I presume. Did anyone spin the wheel and actually get something? There's a null space, and there's a 50% off charging accessories in store, which you get anyway, so it's a null space.
