I attempted to return my phone to stock via Odin, I used the T-Mobile ROM and I have a Telus phone, stupid I know. The Odin attempt failed.
I then tried with the Telus version and Odin just gave me a quick run through, didn't flash, I hit the reset button, tried again, same thing.
I closed Odin in desperation, restarted it and tried to flash the Telus version, it is now stuck here:

I followed the guide, I do have the correct ROM, the phone is still in recovery and I know if I attempt a restart it will likely hard brick, can I save this???
Just re-run it until it completes. keep trying, sometimes it takes a few tries to go through

I ended up unplugging the phone, shutting down Odin and reinstalling Samsung drivers. Plugged the phone back in and it installed, phone is all good now.

Hi,
I am in process of flashing the no data rom for my SPH-D710 and I've been sitting on SetupConnection.. for a while now. Is this normal? I don't want to stop in case it will mess something up.
I have the yellow box in the odin.
Here is my progress so far. Been sitting like this for about 30min.

No. Still stuck at same spot.
Here is a screenshot
I've been stuck in Odin before (thankfully it wasn't during modem install) and after an interminably long period decided the only option was to disconnect, reboot (I may have had to do a battery pull, can't remember) into Odin mode and try again. Keep in mind this is just something I did and I got lucky. I'm not suggesting you do it but, if you do, I would download another copy of the one-click you are trying to use (FE22) or pick another to see if you can complete the Odin process.
Thanks! Was able to unplug and downloaded another copy from a different mirror. Keeping fingers crossed!
Fingers crossed. Let me know how it goes.
SUCCESS!!
Thank you for your help!
Yay!!! My pleasure.

well...idk if i am soft bricked but i dont know if i am able to flash my stock ROM...i try many things...and i am still briked
I have been trying to fix my soft bricked Galaxy S3 for a couple of days and nearly tearing my hair out at this point...
Ok I installed a nightly and yep came up dirty. So I needed to restore it. Any help would be fantastic
So far I have tried 2 different computers, two different USB cables, all the different ports on each computer.
I have tried every Odin version and nothing seems to help. I have tried restoring the latest Samsung updates (back to stock) and a root ROM....nothing. Is there a way that I can reset the binary counter since I believe this to be the problem? i know I can download triangle away from the Google Play store but how do I put it in the phone that is soft bricked? I can put it in Recovery Mode or Download Mode but as you see fixing it with Odin has proved illusive.
The farthest I have gotten is this:
In Odin 3.04

For the the Samsung stock I only get as far as "leave the cs" then when I wipe the data/cache and reboot I get that dreadful Samsung logo and it stays that way for hours.
Help???
Thanks!

this is why you should have a nandroid. try fully wiping and restart. if that doesn't work try to use a different odin and make sure you downloaded the correct firmware.
You posted this already in an existing thread maybe 15mins ago and I answered a few min ago. No need to double post. Just be patient. It can sometimes take a few hours or more before someone who knows how to help will come on and answer. Especially later in the evening during the week.

So... a guy brings me a Galaxy S3 SHG-T999 and says it won't boot up..gets stuck on the Galaxy Boot Logo Screen.
The phone will not go into recovery mode,
PC will not charge the phone while plugged in.
PC does not recognize the phone when at boot up screen.
When plugged in not booted, a gray battery Icon appears and disappears.
The phone will go into download mode
When in download mode the Text shows that everything is still stock and no binary has been downloaded.
All correct drivers installed
I have tried using Kies and Odin to flash using the Stock Rom
Kies see the device but fails, Odin sees the device and reads the file but fails to write
in Odin I have Reboot checked F Reset checked
Is there anything I can do to get the phone to boot from an SD card so that I can reset the phone and reflash to stock ROM?
If Odin Failed while the phone was in download mode, please post the Odin log.

Something's wonky here. Did you check the .PIT checkbox ?
Having had enough trouble with Marshmallow ROMs for the Tab S 10.5 (T-Mobile) I've been trying to revert to the stock 5.0.2, maybe even try bumping back to 5.11, the last stable ROM I (could have sworn I) had, if I could find it.
But Odin fails when I try to load the MD5 file

It's possible that the error is the same and there's no problem with the PIT file, but I can't tell.
Tried with Odin versions 3.09, 10 and 11
I've also tried copying the MD5 to my SD card to try to load it in TWRP, but it can't find the file, only a couple ZIPs I used to install 6.0.2 so not sure if I can actually install a stock firmware that way
file - T807TUVU1BOE1_T807TTMB1BOE1_T807TUVU1BOE1_HOME.tar.md5
Any guesses what I'm missing?

You need to put it in download mode first.
Did you install the Samsung USB drivers?
If that doesn't help, try another PC.
Both are done - tab's in download mode, and USB drivers installed.
I've modded this tablet alone a couple times, using Odin and just copying ZIPs to the tablet, so it's neither of those issues. Note the "Added!" message at the start of the session, so it got the connection to the device.
The pause between setup connection and the fail message is fairly long, a couple of minutes, so more like a timeout than an instant lack of connection.
Tried it in Administrator mode as well.
