Battery Use with headphones plugged in.. - HTC One X

I am going out for a run tonight, have been listening to a little music during the day and my batter hit 30%, so thought best charge it up before I go for a nice long run using my device as my runkeeper and music player..
music stopped, headphones left in socket and in an hour and a half it went from 35% to 44%, I thought that was a little low, so I took headphones out (thinking, is it the fact that the monster beats profile is active when headphones are in the socket).. in an additional 40 minutes its charged from 44% to 62%.. that seems like quite a difference for just taking headphones out of the socket (remember, music was not actually active).
Anyone else experienced this ?

Not charging to 100% = faster drain unplugged?

I've noticed that whenever I just stick my phone on the charger and unplug before 100%, my battery life sucks all the ass...and when I put it back on the charger and charge it to100%, it stays on 99% for the LONGEST time. Is that the same for everyone else?
And when I say my battery life sucks all the ass...usually when I charge overnight and unplug, I can do nothing with the phone but listen to music and my battery will hold like a champ. But whenever I unplug without hitting 100% I'm losing like 20% in one hour. For example, I charged my phone from 30% to 85% and unplugged. Left my house for an hour and when I got back I was at 60% and all I was doing was listening to music. The screen was only on long enough to change songs every now and then.
Also, charging from 30 to 85% was really fast...so fast, I felt uncomfortable (not really, but it was faster than usual).
So idk what's going on with my phone. If other people are noticing this, please lemme know so I don't feel like I'm the only one. And if it is just my phone and I may need to take it back...I might just have to bite the bullet on this one because I don't want to get a phone that has that loss of service issue...I'd rather just remove battery indicator pro so I don't see the battery percentage and just assume its always better than it really is just to make me feel better.

Audio playback battery life?

Does anyone know how long the nexus can last when used solely for music? My old iPhone was able to achieve close to 40 hours and battery use was negligible, my nexus one was maybe 10-15 hours at most. Anyone have any experience?
i'm curious about the audio playback battery time as well...
Depends if your underclockeD while playing?
Just my spare change.
I have the GSM Galaxy Nexus and I listen to podcasts and pandora while at work, almost continuously, with some occasional interruptions (meetings, bathroom breaks, etc.) throughout the day. Some minor web browsing during my lunch break, and I usually have somewhere between 50-60% power left when I get home.
i have a suspicion that this phone gets very good audio play time because from listening to music for hours the battery barely drops compared to my previous android phones. i bet they did some hardware playback optimizations which increases power efficiency.
Much the same here, streaming radio obviously eats faster.
I lose about 2-4% an hour playing music. I would guess up to 50 hours in optimal conditions.
Sent from my Nexus in Texas.
I usually drain 4-5% per hour if I'm using Pandora over WiFi. I rarely load music onto my phone as I use an MP3 player because I'd rather not have the extra battery drain.

wireless charging sound

hi, doesn't anyone have any issues with the device making a sound when beginning a wireless charge?
probably half the time, mine won't sound. sometimes the sound is very delayed. the volume is always on.
any thoughts?
thanks!
I've been getting the impression with mine that it only makes the sound if the battery starts off below a certain % charged (like maybe 80%), if it is nearly fully charged, putting it on the charger doesn't make any sound (at least maybe that's the correlation).

[Q] Power drain when plugged in

Greetings!
Loving my G3, but when using as a gps in my car when plugged into a 2.4 amp usb car charger it still drains. It drains at about 10% per hour.
Anyone have any suggestions?
I just came across this. Make sure you have latest version of maps and after you start navigation I got a pop up asking me If I would like to dim screen in between turns. Not sure if this is a new option that you can access through settings or if it just pops up if you have a considerable distance between turns. I had a too mile trip and it worked great even played Pandora the whole time. Now my battery never drained but did increase very slowly. Hope this helps you.

Synch music onto Moto360 stuck

I've enabled the synch of music between my Nexus 4 and Moto 360 so that I can listen to music from my watch but it seems to be stuck for the last 2 hours or so. It originally had 36 songs to do and its sitting on 18. Total space that all of these take up is just under 1GB so its not like its too much data.
Anyone else getting the same issue?
It happened to me when I was low on battery. Once I charged the watch then it finished syncing my songs.
Thanks for your comment. I'll stick it on charge and see what happens. I started synching when it was at 80% so would have thought it would finish in time before it got low. Maybe it was just protecting itself to not drain so much battery.
Seems to have fixed itself this morning. Just left it for long enough and it all synched.
