Hi all
I've got something which keeps crashing on my Nexus, i even resorted to not installing a single application on it and reverted right the way back to stock (received the OTA 4.0.4 update a few days ago)
it keeps crashing and asking me to send the bug report to myself, which part of the rather large bug report should i post up in order to help diagnose what is going on with this damn thing, its driving me up the wall now. (the log is very very long about 3.4mb so i cant attach it all...)
please help....
Similar problem over here my maps keeps popping up saying its force closing but it actually stays running I tried everything except I don't wana wipe everything

Bugmailers are user generated. It requires a combination of volume and power key. If for some odd reason it keeps doing it, itself...then turn off usb debugging.

Anyone else experiencing problems with the Market again just now?
It starts to download the file, then comes up download paused, then download unsuccessful.
I have tried Force Stopping and clearing Cache's & data etc, no joy.
Anyone else seeing the same?
Yeah I am having problems as well. Can browse to apps, but not download them.
Yeap..
Sending, sending.. sent from my Desire!
Thank God - I have been going through all my settings to try and work out how I have screwed up downloading from the market!

Me too - Blade (or san fran)
Good news its working again!
I spent ages the other day trying to fix this. Thought my phone was knackered and was going to reset until I saw this. Can anyone confirm if they can download apps?
EDIT: vukis is right... it's working again! Weird!?
I'd like to say It's fixed... try downloading more than one app at once though. Doesn't work.

Just on cue, seems like its down for its Daily freak out again!
Strangely, I downloaded one new App, then and only then did it freeze up. Server overload?
Same here
Trying to update Goggle Maps and install Opera and nothing.
I've had similar problems. Noticed for me though, it's only for updating apps I've moved to SD card. Move them back to phone to update seemed to work. Move back to SD after update.

I googled this about ten minutes ago and I was reading about having to hard reset and all sorts. I came to see what was going on over here by pure chance and I saw this thread, I'm glad i'm not alone! I've cleared the cache and I could download one app, the new Dolphin browser, now I am back to 'download paused' - 'download unsuccessful'.
Unfortunately this seems to be a daily occurrence now.

Having this problem too, Google must be fudging about with it, really winding me up now, bit of a joke really.
Any official word as to why it's completely useless today?
I just bought CoPilot then it pooped up was hoping to try it for 24hours
Not working for me either.
The problem is well known and definitely server side androiddev just confirmed on Twitter that "the right people" are working on it.
I saw this method in a comment on Engadget and it seemed sketchy, but I tried it and it worked perfectly.
Go to apps> all >google services framework
Force stop the app and clear data(or the other way around, doesnt matter which order)
Go to about system and then check for updates.
The phone will say it was last updated 12/31/1969....click check now and then magic.
*note: you may have to repeat these steps multiple times before it finally shows the update ...for me it was 2...but others were reporting up to 6 times
Awesome, worked like a charm for me
Works .......took about 4 times. Now to lock bootloader.

Just bear in mind that if you do this, push notifications will break in many apps like Twitter, Android Lost, GetGlue, IMDB, Instagram, etc. The only way to get them working again is to clear the data for each individual app and set it up again.

They won't break in every app, only certain ones. I believe it depends on how the individual app implements push notifications.
worked for me
first time no, changed order of clear/force stop, worked

I'm having this exact same issue, non-rooted, unlocked bootloader....anyone got any suggestions?
I had tried this numerous times on Friday with no luck, but I did it today and Boom, it's downloading now!!
Question
It took about 8 times before this worked for me. This may be a stupid question but, after the update, when rebooting my phone, I get the unlock icon as if I had unlocked the boot loader but I have never done that on this phone is that supposed to happen?
I've been trying this periodically over the last 3 days. Probably done it 30 times.
Still nothing. (Not unlocked or rooted.)

Same here, except I have root. I am still completely stock 4.0.2 though, including radios.
Did the update unlock anyone else's phone?

No one else has had this method appear to unlock their boot loader?
For real, i don't like iOS neither do i like other OS as much as i like Android but, each time i buy and Android Device, it feels like it's full of bugs.
The Desire was restarting, factory problem never solved ( still here, same problem ) and restarting is my Galaxy Nexus too. I've unlocked the phone, made the root, installed CWM Recovery and than, after 5 minutes of using it, it start restarting while i try to call MY MOM or MY SISTER ( ONLY xD ).
Sometimes, while i play Arcane Empire or other games, the phone takes a screenshot and prepare a mail to send with a bug report log inside.
Do anyone esle know about this issuse, does anyone know how to fix it?
If every Android phone you own has a problem restarting, you may want to investigate the apps you are running. Sounds like one of your games may be linked since it's asking you to submit a bug report with some frequency.

You should return the phone then. It definitely is not a common issue. And maybe you shouldn't be running a custom ROM or rooting if you want stability.
I get this notification that says it's downloading. But when I go to app info. It's from downloads instead of the Play Store. I don't know what it is. When I disable the app. Everything stops working; Play store, Chrome, Facebook, etc. I was just wondering if anyone else had this problem?

I didn't download anything. I noticed it on my way home. It initiated randomly. And it won't finish, or even stop. It isn't showing in the downloads either.
****edit
I found it in the downloads a couple hours after the problem started. I don't have a full solution, which sucks.

Might be it is sync ur gallery with fb photos. Uninstall app and reinstall.
I'm experiencing this exact problem, also initiated on its own. I uninstalled and reinstalled Facebook but that did not affect the perpetual downloading of this. Nor have several phone restarts, etc.

solution!!!
I don't know you already fix this problem or not.
I searched several site and finally got an answer for this problem.
Just connect WiFi and let it do whatever it want.
Before I found this, I tried several things;
1. restarted my phone
2. pulled out battery and put back
3. killed the process from task manager
4. removed FB account
5. removed FB app from my phone (actually, back to previous version) and update again
Non of these helped me ever!!!
Also, this problem is not device specific. (I realize it after googling it)
I mean various devices and locations had the same issue.
Anyway, good luck!!!

Thanks. Connecting it to wifi did allow it to finish the unending installation very quickly. That was annoying and I'd like to know why an update initiated on its own, seemingly from within the app and not through the Play store (I do not have any auto-updates allowed, especially for social media apps), and drained my battery while it looped an install process that was apparently constantly seeking a wifi signal to complete.
Thanks a lot!!

I started having this issue today on my Galaxy Tab 2. The only solution people found on different forums is ti turn on WiFi. It'll immediately start downloading and would get installed (Probably due to its size it does not want to be downloaded on 3G/4G). Although I don't feel very comfortable installing this, Does not feel very genuine to me.
Did any one else had this problem? or any issues after installing it?
I had to switch to Wifi about 3 or 4 times and then it finally downloaded. It tried to download all of last night and killed the battery. In the mean time my phone has switched to using Edge instead of 4g and no matter how many times I switch Airplane mode on/off or restart the phone I can't get my 4g back. Think it is just a local problem? I've got a S3 on T-mobile in Orange County, CA.
I have always used grooveshark and it as worked perfectly. Today however, when trying to play a song it says "Unfortunately Grooveshark has Stopped," then it restarts the app. I have tested this while online or in offline mode, I also uninstalled the app and reinstalled it although it still gave me the error. I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 I747 on AT&T running cm.10.1.1 nightly. After this happened I updated to cm-10.1.2 to see if it would fix the problem, but it didn't. I have searched everywhere, but I can't find someone with the same problem. I did not update my rom or change anything with the phone between when Grooveshark worked and then didn't work. Anyways, just wondering if anyone has a possible solution to this issue. I'd prefer not to have to switch roms or factory reset my phone. Any help is appreciated, thanks.
Turns out that this happened due to active notifications, for some reason that app messes with grooceshark

Please can you explain how you resolved this issue as I am now having the exact same problem. Grooveshark was working fine now I can open the app but as soon as I try to play any song I get error message and app restarts.
Is anyone else having same problem or know how to resolve it? Thanks for any info you can provide.

I had previously made a nandroid backup of my phone and it was from before I installed active notifications. When I restored to it it fixed the problem. Although after that I took a backup and tried active notifications again and the same problem occurred. When I restored my backup the errors still keep coming. I have even unninstalled grooveshark and reinstalled it and they are still there. It's obviously a very weird problem. Due to this I have just switched to Google Play All Access.

I've just force stopped any apps that were running in the background and grooveshark seems to be working okay again. Not sure exactly which app was causing the bug, if I work it out I'll post back here.

If it's working now I would uninstall active notifications, it appears that that is causing it and in my case when the problem occurred again, it still occurred after I uninstalled active notifications. So it's a good idea to uninstall it to be safe.

I think I have sorted it now, turned apps on again one by one and kept checking and it seems to crash/restart when I turn on notification mirroring service within the pushbullet app. Turning this feature off again makes grooveshark work as normalagain. So if anyone else has problem with grooveshark try turning off notification mirroring service.
