Try downloading the binaries from androidadvices dot com and use odin to flash.. Its better than using kies
It is the official version from Samsung so it will be no issues however DDLC3 is not available on the website.. its only DDLC2
Cheers!!

Kies slows down your WIFI as well as your computer and takes years for it to open up.
Useless software!!! looks like it is a virus, After updating or saving contacts etc then straight away uninstall KIES and your computer is fast again which is very strange!!!!

hey i had the same problem when updating from DDLC2 to DDLC3 through phone... but after that i used KIES to update firmware... it took sometime to download but worked fine.
So i suggest you to use KIES to upgrade to DDLC3. and u should have good internet speed to Upgrade through KIES. it takes about 15 mins to upgrade with an internet speed of 3.5 mbps..

Hi Men
After the attempt to install via Odin the firmware I8150XXLMB my 8150 continuously reboot and on the screen cyclically appear the Samsung logo.
With a long press on the power button I can switch off the phone but if switched on the phone starts, introduce itself, gives out the Samsung sound, the Samsung logo appears but after that the boot sequence restarts from the Samsung logo.
I can go in download mode, Odin recognize the Phone, the attempt to upload a new firmware can be performed but as described above the boot sequence never ends.
I took out the battery without any results and obviously the connection with Kies did not succeed.
Do you have any suggestion?
Thanks in advance
Are you sure you have the right firmware , is your region code correct ?
Yes I am sure, I am based in Europe and the firmware was released for Germany, it worked fine in the past on my phpne, I got the problem while installing it over REMICS ROM FOR Galaxy W I8150

So i'm based in germany and have a german device I am using
I8150XXLA2_I8150DBTKJ1_I8150XXKL3_HOME.tar
What options have you checked ?
everything should work using this :
http: // mygalaxywonder.blogspot.com/2012/07/how-to-flash-and-install-stock-rom.html (i am to new to post links)
which vesion of odin are you using ?
mine is v4.43
I choosed One package option and used Odin v4.43
Maybe the solution is trying to install a multi package firmware, but I do not know were to find it out

There are two solutions.
1. Use wifi to updates
2. Download update on this forum (under android development) for the region latest ROM. Flash using ODIN.
If this helps, click THANKS

I think it's takes about 15-20 minutes, depending on your PC performance.
And you know, i think you should read ALL Stickies thread in this GT-I8150 forum before you asking for the kind of basic knowledge link like that

Hi! :highfive:
I'm a Galaxy Grand Duos I9082 (Rooted) user and I read that there is a new update for my phone.
But I tried checking it via settings and via KIES but theres no update notification.
Here is the version settings of my phone:
Model: GT-I9082
4.1.2 Stock (Rooted)
AP:I9082XXAMC7
CP: I9082XXAMC4
CSC: I9082JVAMC1
I know there are manual update options but I'm not shure what's the Stock ROM 4.2.2 to flash my phone, or from this Thead
[I9082/I9082L][ROMS][STOCK][FULL][ROOTED][DEODEXED][ZIPALINED]Full samsung roms
which could be my best selections, because as far as i know firmware is for the Middle East and i'm gonna use it on the America Continent (USA, México, Peru, Canada)
Please help. Grettings
Thank you!

I tried factory reset as well.
still no result.
I had many problems upgrading the stock 4.1.2 to the k2wl pre rooted 4.2.2 one, boot loops, no recovery mod and so on. a remark I found on one of the threads solved it, you need to install a stock untouched 4.2.2 via ODIN before upgrading to a 4.2.2 mod, this solved my issues.

After u hv formatted the partitions namely system, cache, dalvik cache, data, etc. Flash the stock firmware u have used earlier using Odin. F u hv the pit file for the phone use it to repartition bt be very careful.
As it looks there are no partitions, so there's nothing to flush/format/mount.
You will have to use a correct PIT file to recreate the partitions.
However, this means that your EFS is gone too. I hope you have a good backup of that!
After the PIT, you can flash TWRP and ROM as you like
