How do I save my game? It seems to save ny coins but not my location.

The game saves everything you do, but you always start in the same room.
It's quite clever really, as your level increases various "new" things appear in the room.

I have got HTC Desire. I downloaded many games, but some of them i cannot play, the phone will restart after playing few minutes. They are big games like NFS Shift, guitar hero. The phone can play smoothly small game like ninja fruit, slide it...Does anyone know what problems i have. My internal storage is 80MB. Is it enough? Give me some advices, please. Thank you in advance!!!
I'd suggest reading this thread;

Its most prob just the cpu getting too hot, its designed to reboot when it detects a large change in state. (eg, temp or voltage ect). Try playing in a really cool room, see if it makes a diffrence

Probably you're in for a warranty claim. It happens with some devices. How do you check CPU temp? I'll assume it is not the same as the battery temp?

The temp is really normal, 36 degree C. I do not know why it happens. Indeed the phone is good, but only playing big game, it restarts. May be i need to send to HTC center for repairing.
Anyone have this condition?
It gets warm with heavy internet usage. But quite hot when playing games.
I was playing 'great little war game' for around 10 minutes then I felt on upper right corner (behind front camera) quite hot. I checked the battery temp it was 43°C. But as soon as I quit playing the temp back to normal.
Just asking if anyone experience the same, is it normal?

Don't quote me as I am not an authority on the subject but usually when a certain spot on a phone starts to heat up, it's easy to assume that the CPU is starting to get hot.
Games are CPU intensive tasks so you will see a specific spot where the CPU is likely to be located getting hot. There isn't much to remedy it since phones don't have a cooling system built in.
My only suggestion would be to try and hold it as such so that you are not directly touching the spot and try taking breaks when you get worried about the phone getting TOO hot.
Most phones will run hot when playing games

I forget what game it was but my iPad 2 was cooking when my wife was playing a game on it recently. It's just the way it goes.

Mythra, one of the mod/GM of the game runs it on her Nexus 7, as I do.
Cryric, developer is working on a tablet version UI.
FPS is around 14-24 (my SGS3 gets 31-34) depending on how zoomed out you are but very playable, it is not a graphics intensive game. It is similar IMO to Eve Online Space MMO on the PC.
There is keyboard lag, I use Thumb Keyboard for the arrows to correct misspellings.
Chat is rather small, compared to on a phone but readable.
If you play or consider playing, please get on their forum>suggestions and shoot them a few.

I started playing this game about a week ago on my Xperia Play (gets about 30 fps but as mentioned fps literally has no bearing on the game from what I can gather) and absolutely love it. I got hooked on Vendetta Online but playing on a phone, even one with a gamepad, is impossible due to how deep the combat is but this game manages to be incredibly deep while completely stream-lined for smartphones and I really can't recommend it enough to people looking for a good MMO on their android phones or tablets.
I tried playing this but quickly got lost and gave up. I can't figure out how to get my sword or cast cure...

I changed it to max settings before i started playing. When i played everything seemed great and smooth--until i got into a car. When i would press the turn buttons, it would be delayed and turn later. are you guys experiencing the same problem as me or no? it is only laggy in the car.
No .. its working perfectly on jb stock even set max setting

really? even with the resolution and draw distance all the way up?
Yep .. too smooth

do you think it is worth the money? I picked up GTA4 for nostalgia's sake before and was not too thrilled with how it controlled :/
I get some lag with max settings, resolution maxed in particular seems to really hurt the frame rate. It's playable, but not smooth, default settings runs perfectly.
I can't play at max settings but everything at about 75% great game nonetheless. Only thing I still find flimsy is melee combat in this game. I haven't shot a weapon out the car yet but hand 2 hand really sucks especially up against more than one foe.

I wasn't expecting to be able to hear the fan. Im going to use my ouya mostly for xbmc to my tv and I normally watch tv at night so I have to keep the audio level down and I can hear the fan pretty clear. Sure its not like the xbox gen 1 fan, but it is louder than my pc which is about the same distance from my position as the ouya. Im using xbmc with hardware decoding so the cpu is hardly used and the gpu shouldn't create enough heat by playing hd video should it? Besides the fans starts running before I even play video.

Yeah I noticed the fan being annoying as well. Seems to have gotten worse after the latest update. I think they adjusted the CPU governor. I'm not positive though. Anyway, it's more of an issue to me because of the high pitched wine that comes with a very small fan.
I was playing around with some spare computer fans I had laying around and I was able to find one that would fit fairly well over the top of the console (after taking the top off). Definitely less noisy than the ouya fan. With the fan on (5v), it prevents the ouya fan from ever turning on. I'll see if I can get the measurements of the fan.

That is weird that you guys are hearing the fan in yours. I'd better get my ears checked...I've got to have a completely quiet room and be within a foot of mine before I hear anything from mine!
I rarely notice the fan on mine after the first few days. It's loud enough to hear while the baby is napping, but not if I am allowed to turn the tv up to a reasonable volume =)
mine's pretty loud, also the box itself gets as hot as my imac.
on top of that my controller even macs some noise.
The fan is 70mm x 70mm x 15mm.
Hard to see, but basically one of the fan holes lines up perfectly with the screw hole in the corner with the gap and the fan rests on the opposite two edges. Hardly a solution as the device would need to be turned on with something like a screwdriver. Just something I was curious about.

Interesting, but as you say it blocks the power button so I guess it has to stay on 24/7?
I can't say that drowning out the fan noise with "reasonable" tv volume is an acceptable solution. I'm up at night often and I have to keep quiet because of neighbours and I really get the shivers from the noise that small fans make. I was "traumatized" by an old dell laptop I had once which had a fan that was horrible. I was expecting this to be dead silent, I mean why isn't it? Mine also gets pretty warm by just idling and I can't understand why. Initially I can't say that I'm very impressed by the ouya.

if i had to guess i'd say that even while idling the ouya has too many processes going (like connecting to the server and the tons of bugs and crashes)
try doing a logcat while its idling

I'm going to try to install OS monitor or something similiar and see if there are processes using cpu. But when I'm in XBMC and check system status there's no cpu activity at all, and playing videos doesn't load the cpu either. I guess it's solely the gpu causing heat. And it says that cpu temp is 45 degrees celsius which I guess is normal, but gpu temp only has a question mark.
The ouya is so nicely quiet the first couple of minutes when I just have switched it on.
They run a performance governor. The CPU sits at 1600Mhz all the time (at least when the screen is being used). When one of us make a custom kernel, we can include another governor. That might be the next thing I do, because the fan noise is..."too damn high."
I tried getting system tuner to run, but it crashed when running after installation. Voltage control governor changes dont take effect. Does anyone know of a good app to switch CPU governors?

OK thanks for the heads up. I can't understand why the ouya team devs haven't made a better kernel. Keeping the cpu at full clock speed all the time, that can't be healthy for the cpu can it? Great to hear someone might do a custom kernel, looking forward to that! I guess there's too few Ouyas out there yet cause I thought there'd be at least one or two custom roms by now.

Yeah. I'm new to kernel development, but I think I've found the code in the kernel source to start looking at for CPU governor and clock speed control.

I thought yesterdays update should have fixed this? I too heard the fan alot and my ouya was getting pretty hot. Didn't seem as bad last night but didnt play on it as long
Sent from my GT-N7100 using Tapatalk 2
It could run that way for ever as long as the fan is on it. It's set that way on purpose so you don't get any lag as the SOC comes up to speed. Governors are for battery life. Not a plugged in console. It's not a mobile device, no matter what's inside its a console. You guys do what you want but 100% power ready on demand will be needed once apps that actually can tax the SOC are built. Anything els will just be seen as LAG.
