Fixed your grammar mistakes. Other then that maybe you need to play in the camera settings idk if there is a setting for that or not.

Sorry I didn't know that when typing I had to use proper punctuation. I checked all setting can not figure it out. still the same thing.

Noobish question but if I pull the camera apk and setting from another build like b32 will it work. The camera worked fine on all of the other builds...

Alpha 3 was pretty good, the only bugs I noticed were fairly menial, e.g. phone would not rotate correctly, would lag from time to time when going through contacts. 4 is out now, and the more people that can test it and report to the devs, the quicker they can isolate the problems and correct them
Most of the bugs are fixed. Only noticable bugs I've seen since Alpha 4 is tearing in some video playback and some artifacts in video recording. You could pull the contacts.apk from the rom and "try" it, but idk if it's Android 4.0 dependant.

How did you get this to work? I've tried twice, and I lose my status bar and get force closes for everything. I've wiped everything before flashing. I'd like to try out the theme :3
All I did was wipe cache/dalv 3x, mounted storage/data and installed. I had no problems at all, but didnt like Not having 4G..
Sent from my SPH-D700 using XDA App
Had to re-flash CM9 first to get the theme to work. Camera would not work after I successfully flashed the theme. Looks very good at any rate ^^
Ill port it if theirs that much interest doesn't seem to hard cept the phone.apk I'm sure uses xml editing for the background seeing how its not the same then I'm sure just adding the phone should be enough
Actually should be easy just need to substitute the framework for our alpha with the one in the theme and the other stuff will work just fine.

Does anyone here have problems with the camera app on the ICS leaks? on the E4gt ?? like The funny face effects? when you select them it crashes.. I'm on the Fc05 leak, and the ICS camera was downloaded from the market, since the ics rom doesnt have an ics camera. It comes with the touchwiz cam. Is there another app i can dowload that has the stock ICS camera app?? any help is really apreciate it.Thank you.

Must be the app you installed. Maybe it just a themed camera to look like ics. I am on cm9 and there is no "funny face effect"

Its actually the real App.. I mean it has the option to change the effects and stuff. It takes pics and all video perfect with the exeption of the crash when selection the real time face effects. I'm on Leaked ISC fc05 , but it doesn't have an ICS cam, it has the Touchwiz.

If it has options to add effects, then it NOT the real stock app. I have used cm9 since released for our phone and there is no effects option.
If you are using "camera ics" from the market then there's your problem.
It says in the description they added extra features. Email the dev who released the app on the market because you won't get any help with your problem here.

Ok thanks that one is it. So does this mean the ICS version in our epic 4g T wont get the camera with effects? The reason i ask is because I have a tablet and Just got an official ics update and it has the funny face effects.
I'm pretty certain No Stock Samsung ROMs will have "funny face effects".

Guys if you want an asop experience just flash racers tw port and adb push Apex Launcher into /system/app and remove tw launcher. Runs as good as it's gonna get with m&s's blaze modems and all the other hotfixes at least till t-mo drops 4.0.3 or the ril gets fixed on this.

I thought pushing these 3rd party launchers to the system/app was having the side effect of being slightly unstable? Is the payoff really that much better having it as a system app?

Whenever I use JB roms and Google Navigation, I get horrible flickering, blinky screen.
Is there a fix for this issue? Anyone else can confirm they have same problem?
Disabling HW overlays does not fix the issue.
Also tried changing debug.composition.type = gpu does not fix either.
Flashed back to ICS roms, issue doesn't exist. So it's definitely a JB only issue.
I've tried several different JB roms (CM10, AOKP, XquiZit XD), they all exhibit same problem.
Build.prop edit:
Code:
debug.mdpcomp.maxlayer=3
To
debug.mdpcomp.maxlayer=0

Hm, not sure then, those edits work for CM10. Figured they'd be universal. Did your build.prop have them originally? I never ran a TW ROM. Well other than stock for like 2 hours till i got home xD Which ROM are you on?
I was on CM10 10/24 nightly as of a few minutes ago just flash back to FrostyICS 4.0.4 v3.
I use navigation daily. Flickering was bugging me out. Guess i'll wait for official JB release to see if flickering gets fixed. Thanks for trying to help a brotha out.

I'm not a NOOB at this. I pretty sure I done the build.prop edits right.
I was running Faux 10/15 kernel, maybe that was what's causing the flickering.
I've tried Lean Kernel 1.6 too, flicker was present on that as well.
What kernel are you running?
Anyways, I wanted to be back in ICS TW for the stability and I missed some of the features like Smart Stay, SBeam, etc..
I'll definitely be back on CM10 once things are a little bit more stable.

I'm on the 10/24 build with absolutely no issues other than hold back to kill sometimes not working. Other than that with those build.prop edits it's pretty flawless. And with those edits running the stock kernel and ktoonsez kernel removed artifacts and flicker. I recommend a newer build. So much has happened and improved since the 15th. Oh and I wasn't saying you were a noob or anything, I was saying you are a human and we qll make mistakes. I've tried changing things and forgot to simply save the file or adjust permissions or something stupid like that. But I'll upload the stock build.prop with those edits as a flashable zip for you to try.
