Hi,
congrats on rooting your phone you won't regret it
there's been quite a few people facing the same problem with the same reboots ... there is a solution and if i remember correctly you have to flash the stock boot.img... but i might be wrong, let me try and find the posts again to show you first......
edit:
yup re-flashing your boot.img might solve your prob, i found some people with the same prob and below is the page/thread about it, but please bear in mind the advice given in the thread is for the coredroid rom not mike's rom so you will need to flash mike's boot.img...
good luck...!

Hello everyone!!
I have the following question, I hope someone can help? I am using an HTC DHD amd would like to have the new sense 3 fully working on it. So I found this article that describes a rom for tbe inspire 4g and figured that the inspire and dhd are actually the same, the rom can work, right??! But, then I found this interesting fact, that rooting is impossible for desire hd that runs on an official 2.3.3. Is this true? Please help, I am ver new to all of this, but very want to learn!!
Thanks in advance
Danny
You don't want Sense 3. It's even more bloated and laggy than its predecessor.

Are you crazy? it's already ported to dhd.it's fully working.and it's rootable.from where the hell you collect this info.check dhd thread.
flash a sense 3.0 rom like this one http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1115312
His question was also if he could root 2.3.3.
It depends in your baseband. 1.72 etc. Go to setting and about (info) to find it. I think I saw a thread in dev section to now root 2.36. But I could be wrong. Check through the development forum.

Cool! so just an extra info for ya. Almost 2 weeks back there was no such thread to root any DHD above than 2.37 software number. the OP of this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1152233
He figured it out not only 2.37 can be rooted but also with any other different software numbers. If you ever feel like rooting your phone and enjoy some custom ROMs. Follow the link.

If you have clockwork recovery or similar try to enter in the terminal from the recovery!
In this way android is not loaded and you can find if it is a software or hardware problem!

or
Code:
/system/usr/keylayouts
I still can't find exactly where is the problem. So if you have some minds please share it with me.

Rom Reboot constantly

Hello All,
I know it topic has been discussed many time, but please clarify me something more on this.
I have a HTC One V Cdma device, i flashed a custom rom recently and i experienced continuous reboot.
So, i searched the forum and found that i have to downgrade the radio and then use the kernel provided by the developers.
I found this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2018518.
In this link i am finding the Football's Primo Shipped ROM Collection links unavailable.
From where else i can get this file.?
Also, what will happen when i downgrade the radio ? Will it cause any adverse effects ? ..
Also let me know how to install this RUU
Ok. So the RUU you are looking for if you have CDMA is this one.
http://www.htcruu.com/securekey.php..._Sprint_WWE_VM_1.08.652.11-1.08.652.6.zip.md5
You also want Stock Recovery and Stock Boot.img. before restoring to the stock RUU I believe, unless your doing it your own way.
The site is htcruu.com and all thanks to JMZ.

Thanks for the reply bro. I am seeing 2 type of files .zip and .exe file. Which file i should use ?
In many threads i am seeing that we should flash the radio 521_2. So now which file i should choose for the same.?
Also the .zip file is of very small size only 17MB and the other file is 350 MB why there is a huge difference between the sizes.
please assist. All i wanted is to run a Stable JB without boot loop.
The RUU is the bigger file. Just make sure you use the right one.
The Zip is the OTA update that will cause the bootloop on Custom Roms.
So....why do we even have a q&a section if people can just post here and get answers without repercussions?

I experience the same boot loop or freezeup with custom rom. And what worked didn't have wifi and came with other bugs. My old HTC wing had easier rooting to be honest. I eventually gave up with this modding this phone so I might sell this phone out of frustration.

OK the issues you had are from not installing the correct boot.IMG OR having a radio version that made it impossible to flash custom firmware to your HOV. This seriously belongs in Q&A thread.
EDIT: Lloi shut his cm thread down to a dumba$$ question being posted earlier. Please folks read before just posting I made mistakes at first too but people please......

[Q] Please Help me Unbrick my HTC One V.

Hey guys so a couple of days ago I decided that I was going to root my HTC One V phone by Virgin Mobile, so I did and that was successful but I wanted to take it a step further and put a custom rom on my phone. I downloaded the files for 'Pacman" which is a custom ROM and then it went downhill from there. I can get into the OS for about 20 seconds then it will lock up and restart. So I believe that it is in a constant boot loop (Soft Bricked) All I want is to go back to the original OS that was on my phone in the first place, I do plan on rooting it again but not messing with ROMs. So any help would be amazing. Thanks!
Turn off your phone. Hold down the volume down button, and you will go into your installed recovery.
Succes!

Installing Stock ICS ROM

Hey community,
I am still a newbie to HTC, Flashing, Custom ROMs and rooting in the first place.
I managed to install a custom ROM a while ago, now I wanna go back to the stock ROM (ICS - Icecreamsandwich 4.0.4)
What I need now, is the orignial stock ROM, which I am not really sure where to find via google etc. (Since i found hundreds of different links everywhere)
Further I'd like to know how to install it correctly. Can i just put it in my storage, and flash it via the phone?
Or do I need any special software or anything else?
I hope you can help me and explain the process nice and easy, since I don't have much experience as mentioned before.
Greetings,
