Hello everyone!
I recently got myself a HTC P3300, and I'm facing some problems. The most urgent one is:
When I installed sdhcArtemis.cab, the option WiFi stopped showing up, so, I have no option to connect in any way. How can I solve this? I tried instaling SDHCArtemisbacktonormal.cab, installing WM5Storage, uninstalling both, and no results..
EDIT: SOLVED. Deleted some files created today, on the Windows folder, uninstalled everything, and it came back to life.
Other problems are:
- Can't watch videos on youtube. What should I do?
- Sometimes, when I want to make a call, it gives me a "operation failed" warning. I have to do a soft reset to solve that.

The cell phone does support SDHC. Check if you have the card correctly positioned. That was my problem (silly, I know)

Hi,
I just got some new applications and installed them, the last one was InterKey(Paragon software). After finishing the install it requested restart and restarted after clicking OK. Now it just won't wake up to windows and get's stuck on "smart mobility" after the "by bepe" and HTC logo...
It should install on the SD card, but I also tryed removing it, but it is just the same.
What to do, I don't wana flash it again, because of all the data, so please advice, if there is another way...
I'm using bepe rom (latest I think), about the radio I am not sure...

Try a hard reset....
well... since I need the phone feature, I'll do that... it's the same like flshing, right? Everything's lost after hard-reset...
btw, does anyone know, how to set a different alarm ringtone?
Regards,
Peter
I am experiencing a similiar problem on the Trinity. If I install a new fresh ROM (Ive tried several, currently running Marys) and then install a few normal applications (tomtom, Googlemaps, Messenger and so on) after a few days it wont start up after switching it off.
A hard reset solves the problem, but Im starting to get a bit tired of doing a hard reset every other week.
I tried to roll back to the factory default firmware (witn no GPS activated) and then installed MunRus's newest..however the problem came back after a few days use.
What ROM

First off, great forums, it has been a great help so far. So i've just bought the Touch Pro 2 from Telus, great phone so far. But I've been having a problem everytime i'm in Updates and Events, I select Update and after a few seconds it crashes "A problem has occurred with manila.exe". Any help would be a appreciated.
ROM version: 1.19.661.3
I've fixed the problem but not the way i really wanted to. After a hard reset the error has gone away.
That sucks you had to hard reset but it was probably needed! Glad you got it working though. I haven't experienced this problem.
Thanks I'm still not sure what caused the error.
Here is the solution that I have found for manila.exe error
This same thing happened on my Touch Pro 2, all it really seemed to be is annoying. Functionality hasn't seemed to be a problem. All I did is turn off reporting to microsoft (there is an option to turn this off when the error comes up) and since then I haven't seen the annoying error anymore. Whatever it is doing to make this error may still be happening, but I am never aware of it and I have no problems with the phone now. I hope this helps someone else because I know that no one wants to do a hard reset on their phone.
I'm experiencing the same problem but on Hd2.I tried to copy my contacts from my old sim which is with O2 and starting getting this error every time I reboot my phone.'' AN ERROR HAS OCCURED WITH MANILA.EXE'' .The only way out is ofcourse the hard reset which is really annoying. If someone has a solution please do mention.
Regards

Hi guys,
maybe somebody may help me with the problem.
I am a owner of the Desire Z.
Done a Update to 2.2.1.
Used this faq for downgrade and rooting.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=905261
Afterwards i ve installed the recovery of http://www.klutsh.com/ .
First everything worked fine (WLAN etc.)
Cause i installed different Apps (Titan Backup, SMS blocker etc.) through WLAN.
Cant tell what happened but now i am having the following problem:
- Does not connect to my WIFI AP even if it worked quite well before.
- When i turn on WLAN through option menu the icon/symbol does not appear at the upper Part of the phone.
- Even closed APs (not mine) arenĀ“t shown at the menu for the WLAN configuration.
- It is still possible to establish the internet connection to my provider and this one still works proper.
What am i doeing wrong?
Which further Infos do you need to help me with this problem?

Sounds like something you have installed has broke the WiFi as it was working when you first installed the ROM.
My advise would be to back everything up, do a factory wipe & then start again. This time after installing each app & its backup checking the WiFi.
This way you will find the app which is to blame & can get rid of it

You are wright with your solution of the problem.
I think this would help.
But i thought that there would be a easier and less time intensive solution like.
updating kernel, radio or something else.
Or am i wrong?
Because your solution looks more like trial and error which would takes a lot of time again.
The issue is that something is broken in your phone and it's not a common problem (you may be the only one who is experiencing it), so there isn't an accepted solution for it yet.
If you nandroid back up your phone as it is now, then wipe, you should be able to identify what app you installed or what you changed to break WiFi, from there if you wished you could restore the nandroid backup and work on fixing the problem. If you share what you learn it might be of help to anyone who runs into a similar issue in the future.
Edit - never mind, misunderstood the question.
actually i am sorry i can t tell to 100 % what changed the seetings.
have done a wipe and tryed some ealier backups which i have done before.
In one Backup the Functionality was still given and i hadn t to install from the beginning again.
If i will have again the problem i will write here a report.

Hey guys,
so I've been using my Xperia Arc S for over a year with no problems but recently when I try to turn on the wifi it becomes stuck at 'turning on'. The same thing happens with the bluetooth. Sometimes when I restart the phone it works but most of the time it doesn't I've tried factory resetting it and it worked fine for a bit but then became stuck again. I'm running stock 4.0.4 rooted.
It started happening when I went overseas where my sim card didn't work and I had to change the time zone manually in settings. I read somewhere that this happened to someone else who did the same but there was no solution found. Does anyone know how to fix this? Any help will be greatly appreciated, thanks :good:
It may be hardware problem or software. If you tried factory reset then you should try a new Rom. If problem keeps going, your phone may be the problem, you should bring it to repair service for diagnosing.
Hope it help!
Repair firmware with PC Companion.
I tried repairing it with PC Companion but still no luck. I guess it may be a hardware problem like motlanvamaimai suggested.
Same Q
Hey guys.. I faced similar issue in my AMOI 820 based Indian local device Micromax (rooted + custom kernal)
I fixed this stuck wifi problem by uninstalling Google apps in system by removing them using Titanium back up + and again installing them from playstore if needed.. Hangouts(in my case) if it's a system app after getting updated is the culprit .. Try removing it and reboot and test it yourself..

Check for any viruses by installing a good licensed ANTIVIRUS.
Check weather your RAM is occupied / filled with trash
then Factory reset it.
I have played Fortnite on my Tab S4 with no issues. Maybe you should contact Samsung for a replacement.

Most likely its a hardware issue, most likely it will be the ribbion that connects battery to motherboard! That's loose. You will need to send to Samsung to get it fixed as i had the Same issue on Tab S 8.4!
