Hi thanks for the fast replay. I have tried Factory reset many times, but did not help. I have upgraded from 2.2 to 2.3 but also didn't help. The phone at the moment has been sting on the desk connected to the pc charging at 24.5degrees and hasn't restarted for more than 15 min, but when I start playing with it its going to restart. Thanks!

Hi Thanks, but the battery stays really steady does not seem to be loose. I even tried putting peace of paper between the battery and the cover, but still no luck.

Hi I think it has something to do with the WiFi because the phone just sits on the desk connected to the PC charging for a while not restarting but as soon as I turned the WiFi on restarted right away.

Hi I have been searching for the proof of purchase the whole day and I couldn't find it. Is there any other way htc going to repair it without proof of purchase?

When I sent mine for repair it they didnt ask for any proof of purchase.
I think they just check the IMEI / serial against their database to see when
it was sold and whether its been reported as stolen etc
Proof of purchase is not required but not all phones have 2 year warranty. Just call HTC and see what they say our contact them online, the response time I experienced was within 1 working day.
Thank you very much!
SOO being the idiot i am .. i was using my mobile hotspot for minecraft .. and i know my phone overheats . so i put ice on it .. and i suspected it over heated and melted the ice .. unfortunately the bag had a hole soo my phone got wet .. but it works .. it just kept going into safe mode.. i got annoyed and went into cwn recovery and wipe the data but it was taking forever soo i pulled the battery out.... now it shows me the samsung logo and deviant development .. please help i can even load into cwm anymore .. i forgot how to ... btw its a T- mobile galaxy s2
try bag of rice? this is the funniest post i ever seen
Yes, take it apart and bury it in rice in a bag. If you search on phone getting wet, you'll see more details.
If its not too late...it could save the phone. And I believe it needs to be in rice a couple days.

Press both volumes and power. Let go of power when it vibrates.

Let go of volumes at Samsung splash.
WAIT
My phone got too cold in the snow and was partially submerged in water. Just have to wait a few days with it in rice and it should work.

HTC desire 820 dual sim card not starting and when I started charging then indicator light started blinking and indicator light not showing light constantly and mobile not taking charging . when I visited their service center they are telling me that your phone motherboard will change and price would be 9000 .. So I want to know is their any solution
1) hold power button + volume down button for 2 minutes.
2) If above method doesn't work
Try holding the power button and volume down buttons down,
while holding the proximity sensor directly under a very bright light.( I AM NOT TROLLING)
Note: It happened with me yesterday, and I don't know which of the above method worked but me and my phone got back to life
This also happened with a HTC One user http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2446385
It could be due to the failure of the IC adapter or faulty battery. Both are hardware problems and costs money.
P's I have encountered the same as you do serveral days ago and I ended up in give up reviving my phone as the money the repair cost is equal to a new phone in my region.

htc desire 826 A52_DTUL how to repair dead boot please help me
I got a white dot on the screen. It's only visible on light backgrounds. I got a glass screenprotector mounted on the phone. So my first guess would be dust or some bubbles/dust in/on the actual screenprotector. Anybody experienced this?
Yes, i could just rip the screenprotector off and check my self. But i don't have any spare left.
I have the same problem. Its in the lower right of the screen. It appears to be an issue with the backlight shining through the screen. I sent off the phone for repair three weeks ago - it arrived back Friday along with a letter that said - No fault found.
The problem is only noticeable on bright light backgrounds.
I've escalated the case with HTC who were very apologetic that the issue was not noticed. Whats even more annoying is I wrote a letter along with a photo of the phone and a red circle around the area of the screen with the issue - the repair centre didn't even bother to read the letter.
I am furious with HTC and even more furious that I now have to send the phone in for repair yet again, which means another 3 weeks without my 10.
If I were you id call HTC now and book it in asap. Make sure you send them a photo of the problem and explain that you are not the only one with this defect.
Edit: Ive attached a photo. Its VERY hard to photograph the issue and is MUCH worse in real life.
Edit 2: Ive attached the letter i sent with the phone to HTC that they ignored.
I have a similar dot in almost the same spot. Since this is my 3rd phone, I'll probably just live with it. It's appeared on every 10 that I have had.

Really - on every one? Thats mighty odd. Did you happen to notice when it appeared? For me it was after making some backups - the phone was hot. I wonder if the battery has expanded in that location on mine - whats the story with yours?
It's possible. Yep, on every one of them. Heat might be the culprit, I did run a backup the other day, I can't remember if I saw it before or not.
I got this (see picture). I've contacted the store i bought the phone from. Let's see whats happening. To bad i don't live in the US.. then i would just crack the screen in send it in for a OHOH.. wish ofcourse don't apply in europe...
I've tried a couple stuck/bad pixel apps with no resault..
Removed screenprotector and applied preasure on the spot with no resault..

This little dot is just taunting me now. I wonder how many others have this issue.

Well, the original one had vibration issues, and a big white splotch, the second had a defective camera (I actually didn't have it more than a few days, so it didn't have the screen issue), the one I have now just developed the white dot 2 days ago. Pretty bummed.
My wife thinks I'm nuts because I'm obsessing over a tiny spot. Lol
Update. i sent the phone away to the company i bought it from. Hopeing for a free fix or replacement. Let's see how it goes.
I can send mine to htc.... Again.... I talked to them yesterday, probably another 3 weeks since they are low on stock. Plus I would need to find a temporary phone, and I just paid for sunshine before the dot showed up. Then how long until it happens again?
I had the same problem over my app drawer button (it was quite big) , luckily (haha) I broke my phone screen and they uhoh'd it
If I could use uh-oh again, that's exactly what I would do.
Googel'ed some. And i guess this is whats called a "Mura".. or clouding? Never heared of it on phones thou..
I have same type of dot or say series on dot om lower left screen,
Its because of playimg games phone got hot

I'm curious if it affects both as well.
Hey y'all,
I have a complete backup image of my Lumia 950 XL PROTOTYPE RM-1085. When it was previously backed up the screen would not respond to touch and only responds to touch on newer retail firmware flashed.
Also doesn't connect to USB mouse via otg just shows charging when plugged in to a mouse.
Otg works on flashed retail firmware.
Would anybody be willing to take a look at the backup image if I send it to you and see if there is a way to get touch back and otg functioning?
Please help me. Willing to donate for your time and effort.
Thank you
Kountry
I would gladly help you out with that and kinda get some more experience with Windows phones as well
