I don't know if i let it overheat.
I played games while charging the phone.
Maybe it overheated, because it got pretty hot.
Did i make something wrong?
I think it's design flaw if it can overheat in normal condition.

well, nice death by the way just joking man, if your warranty isn't void they must replace it to you!
You mentioned it's done it twice before. Were you playing a game those times as well?
Looks to me like a graphics driver chip issue rather than screen wiring, and if it happened under heavy graphics load all three times, chances are that's what it is.

Hello
Shortly:
I send my phone to service. When it back i have seen that get repleced motherboard. It was good because my problem finally get fixed. After few days when i was playing game i get jumping screen every thing get moved it was unplay able. When i get back to homescreen it took for 3 sec to place dock bar widget on place (they were moved randomly) then i have seen a green/red dots randomly placed on my screen. I tryed to run other game but it was unplayable. Everything was jumping moving etc. I get scared and found on yt same problem, some one said thats motherboard problem. So restarted my phone and now it seems all works good. But i'm disappointed because its new motherboard. My varianty ends up in few months (if its for 12 months) and dont know what to do? If i send it back to service then they will tell me that everything is okey. How i can test my motherboard or prove them that there is prooboem with my phone? Any one got idea? Please help me, i soo angry!

HTC One X Screen problem. Black/White/RGB like detuned TV

I can't think how to describe this, so haven't found another thread on here or on google, so have to post a picture.
It hasn't been dropped: When the Sleep Android app woke me up this morning I noticed that there was time-lag between my commands and the phone reacting. This was a bit annoying, but it seem to warm up and THEN it just FLIPPED RIGHT OUT. I have got it working again with a Soft Reset, but it's dodgy and keeps FLIPPING OUT every now and again.
Any idea what I can do?

No I haven't seen it before that's why its a hardware problem if it is a software problem I am sure you are not alone.
Tv gets detuned when it does not receives signal possibly your lcd is not receiving signals or your hox's hardware is not sending signals to lcd.

Sorry Turn on the display and do a pressure between the display and the right down side on the main camera.
Also now there is a 5 second delay on commands. My dad rang earlier, I pressed accept call and it didn't react and it went to Voicemail.
Should i try a factory reset?

Becouse I have the same problem this is BFD(Blck Screen of Dead) The only one solution is to repleace the mainboard. If you have warranty go back to stock and relock bootlader and hope they will repear for free or wait until go so bad and the display stop working and they can't see your status on the bootlader. My phone start slowly to die until one day totaly dead and I am happy because before the dead I go back to stock and relock and they changed the phone after one month in service center with new one. I hope you have warranty. Good luck my friend.

I replaced the screen already, last year so that shouldn't be a problem.

Could you not have cleared your throat before recording ? Anyway I just checked and I have it too. Still took me a while to confirm. Unless this is some freak coincidence and nobody else apart from us seems to have it, I think it's normal.

New HTC 10 Owner looking for issues

Hello HTC fans,
I am gonna receive my HTC 10 tomorrow and I would like to immediately look for HW failures/defects, etc. to see if I have a faulty device.
My Question is., what should I check?
- dead pixels
- Speaker issues (I dont know what to check exactly)
- Microphone issues ( how to test?
- What else?
Can you please help me out?
Thanks in advance
Take it out of the box, put it on the charger. Make sure it charges to 100 percent, then use it.

That was quite obvious, I just thought there are "bad-batches" but if theres nothing like that (like it was with the m7 series) I am not worried
Get it out of the box, look if your display has a red tint, if it has a red tint install Dev Check and look which display is build in (Sharp or Tianma). If it is a Sharp display and hast red tint return it, if it's a Tianma display the red tint seems to go away after some days/weeks of usage.

Exactly no reason to worry about maybe having a bad unit before you even get it. Yes there will be a bad phone here and there. Be more excited you are getting a new phone!
The first thing to do is run the diagnostics. To do this, run the Help app. On the Help screen menu tap 'Troubleshooting' or 'Diagnostics tools' to use a troubleshooting wizard to check the basic hardware functions (alternatively, dial *#*#3424#*#*).
I found red tint on my phone at the bottom of my screen which didn't disappear after 3 weeks. In the end i got rid my phone as that tint was doing my head in.

Yes had that option but I chose not to replace it as I prefer bigger screen. I thought I could live with smaller screen but clearly not. If it was 5.5 then I would have stuck with it definitely.

Well, its all personal preference .... for me the 5.7 XL was way too big (I have big fingers too...I am 198CM ) and the HTC 10 is just an upgraded m7 for me hence the love

Personally, I'd rather just return it and get a new one if it's within the first 30 days. Seems like more of a hassle to get repaired or possibly sent a refurb in exchange.
