I had issues trying to get to the bootloader unlocking tutorial. I kept trying and finally it let me through. They must be having technical difficulties!

same here!
No problem with mine.just unlocked last night
I had the same issue. You can try logging out and logging in from the first page on htcdev.com, not from the page to unlock.
I can't log in either. set up account but then can't log in.
i got as far as the token copy pasting and it took about 10 tries for HTC to accept my token, so they are probably having a lot of problems. ;p
Having the same problem Grrrrrrr...
HTC Dev Site
Issue still not fix! sigh. I wonder if HTC peeps are doing something about it? I have tried all suggestions above but none worked.
Has nothing to do with it .
For those that used a specific email or username prior on the site they require you to use a unused email address everything u unlock a bootloader can't use same email
Sent from my HTC One X using XDA

Almost every link i click (register, unlock bootloader, the link that came in the mail for unlock bootloader proces) i get redirected to
htcdev com/resources (cant use links due to restrictions)
so im guessing im stuck at stock for now
Aye, and ive talked to htc support and the problem is in taiwan, and they are looking in to it now.. so we have to give them som hours

You will struggle to find help without posting anything about your device, what rom, kernal etc. if you are running a custom rom such as ARHD you may have more luck finding your answer in the thread for them

Thanks for passing.
Everything is stock. Just unlocked bootloader & rooted & installed recovery.
I'm finally sending off my phone to fix the WiFi problem, and I was just wondering whether they'll still fix it with CM10 installed, or will I have to un-root it and go back to stock?
Like I said on Reddit, just RUU back to stock and you should be fine since it's a hardware issue

Haha hello! I was just making double-y sure, didn't realise there was a Q+A for each device on here, thanks again!
Hi, I recently flashed the skydragon rom v 10 for my AT&T M8. Everything seems to be working fine except I cannot get incoming calls. I can send calls and texts but cannot get incoming calls. Anyone know a fix for this?

Sorry about posting it in multiple places. Do you know if the disable is right away or takes some time? I called AT&T and they told me it was disabled and would send me notification, but incoming calls still not working and no notification. I will be calling back later today to verify though

Don't know. I wouldn't think an account change like that would take long. I wonder if they just told you that to get you to hang up?

Even with VoLTE off, no incoming calls. But did see that sky dragon team is working on it so I guess I'll be off LTE until then. Thanks!
Is there a way to return to stock? I know you can use RUU but I am getting confused with all the talk about S-Off and S-On. My M8 is S-On with skydragon v9.0 with the lollipop updates from April. Do I need S-Off to use the RUU or do I simply lock the bootloader then use the RUU as instructed??

Are you sure they turned off HD Voice for your account? Understanding of this feature by the first tier customer service reps seems dodgy, at best. One user here reported that one rep said it couldn't be disabled; so he just called again, and got a rep that could do it.

Of course there is a way to return to stock.
If you made a TWRP nandroid of the stock ROM (which is always recommended before modding the phone), just restore it in TWRP.
Alternately, you can restore to stock with RUU. RUU will run fine with s-on with the following conditions:
1) Must be equal or greater main version (in getvar all, or OS version on hboot screen), hboot, etc. that is installed on the phone. In other words, no "downgrading" by RUU is allowed with s-on. So if you are on Lollipop firmware, you can only run the 4.28 AT&T RUU (not any of the previous ones).
Speaking of firmware, are you on the latest AT&T Lollipop firmware?
2) As you have somewhat determined, you must relock the bootloader to RUU. Relock with the command: fastboot oem lock
3) You can only run an AT&T RUU, not a RUU for another carrier version (but you may already know that).
4) Additionally, the RUU will wipe the phone, including internal storage. So backup any personal data you want to keep accordingly before RUU.
Another option (although not quite stock) is to use the following custom ROM. Its based on AT&T software (just debloated, optimized, etc.) and should therefore work correctly on AT&T's network: http://forum.xda-developers.com/att-htc-one-m8/development/att-4-4-3-2-22-1540-3-debloated-sense-6-t2837365
I ended up going the second option with the Rom by WNC.
I'm not 100% sure about the HD calling. First customer care told me they turned it off then I called again and the second told me it was off. Anyway to check?
Again, thanks for the help!:good:

Not that I am aware. If you were told by 2 different reps that its off, then that is prob the best you can do.
The problem did not occur if you manually switched off LTE (HSPA and GSM only)?
Did switching to WNC's ROM solve the incoming call issue?
Also, you didn't answer my question on whether you are on the Lollipop AT&T firmware?
A slight feeling this may be a different issue than the HD Voice problem, since:
1) Disabling HD Voice on your account did not solve the issue
2) You mentioned in your OP that SMS worked fine. Other folks with the HD Voice issue had problems sending/receiving SMS.

I was able to get calls if I manually switched to HSPA and I am running the latest lollipop firmware. Flashing WNC's Rom made everything work again. I'm guessing HD voice was switched off because when I call out, I am switched to hspa if I'm on LTE.
Not sure why the work around didn't work for me, probably unlucky
Ever since I unlocked and rooted my phone, it no longer will hold a Bluetooth connection with my car. It'll connect and then drop completely every time. Anyone else experiencing this? Or know a way to fix it?
I'm not able to find a guide of how to remove root on this phone. Do you know of any?
Am I the only one with bluetooth problems after root? I don't see anyone else with the issue.
You are not the only one, there are many complaints on the Pixel user forum!
Also many on the Android Auto discussions.
I tried connection before I was rooted and got immediate failures, but I never tried prior to unlocking the bootloader.

Download the factory image (same one that's currently on your phone), unzip it and fastboot flash the stock boot image.
Or download SuperSU v2.78 SR3, flash it and then use the "unroot" feature in the app.

Or simply flash one of the modded kernels in the development section they will knock out root.

I agree. However, OP did state that his XL connected via Bluetooth prior to rooting, but not after.

I was just responding to his quoted post of are other people having issues
I just got a group of Google updates and thought I would try my Bluetooth/Android Auto connections again.
Everything works just the way I expect it to!
Life is good again!

That's a good point, are you on the latest firmware for your device/region?
Mine straight up drops connection immediately to any bluetooth device I hook it up to.
I'm on Verizon. Are the most recent updates still able to be rooted? And would updating relock my bootloader?
November update won't lock your bootloader.
