You'd be better off getting the AT&T E980(supports all our bands) varient, i did and it works perfect...the E988 only supports 2G\LTE here in canada

Hi there, I'm about to get the international version of the M8 that runs on the 2.5ghz processor. I was wondering if anyone could direct me to the appropriate thread about rooting this version?

N7105T (Telstra) Firmware to N7105 (Optus) Firmware or Other

Hi,
I just purchased a Note 2 N7105T outright. I want to change the firmware to either an Optus firmware or unbranded version.
Can someone please guide me on how to do this?
Cheers,
layziebone
Hi mate, you can swap ROMs but the antenna is not going to work as well between N7105T & N7105 as the T version is tuned for 850mhz 3G while non-T is tuned for 900mhz / 2100mhz 3G.
Interestingly enough I have a N7105 (Optus ROM) that I use on Telstra. I would much prefer the T / Telstra version.
Perhaps we could do a trade, I can see that you are also in Melbourne. Send me a PM if you are interested.

Unlocking all LTE Bands

I have the Nokia 6.1 (2018) international version. I am trying to enable the US LTE bands for compatibility with T-Mobile. Is there a way for me to do this without root? Is there a way to do it with root? Any help you can provide would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Kevin Long

Did you ever figure this out?
Hum... what is the "international version"? (TA-????)
The international version is TA-1068
I'd also like to know.
I'm getting band 4,5 on AT&T only.
You can only manage / force your phone to do that with root.
No root = use provider / googles android-one standard settings.

This isn't something you can do with or without root. It's not that those bands are somehow locked by software or firmware. The hardware is different.
