I haven't. Mine is an Asia area phone I believe (at the initial setup, I had the option for english from several different asian countries).
I haven't either. What's wrong with the update?

Same here and type of phone.
Question: are either of you having a severe issue with the OS. After about 2 days my keyboard becomes a grey one, with 2 languages, even though all the setting are correct. Only way to fix it is to Factory Reset. Also, call quality not great. Wondering if it's the OS or phone.

Same here
1.26.707.2, Oceania version, no OTA. I'm guessing all the Asian phones got skipped then.

wanted to see if anyone with Asian builds have received OTA update
If not mistaken, the update is only available for 40X builds, thus those from Europe. I haven't heard of anyone with a HK model that has received it, myself included.
Why would they only update certain phones of the same damn phone? Doesn't make any sense whatsoever.
Just a heads up to everyone who hasn't got the update yet, I finally can update today. If you have 1.26.707.2 be sure to check updates manually and you should get it

Thanks jdunne. Checked this morning and updated!
Australia. Unbranded Chinese model.

Goodday developers and owners of desires!
As there were news all over about 2.2 being released, it seems like Asia's not receiving it, anyone here have a explanation for this!?
Cause I'm actually in no hurry here, it's just too many of my desire buddies are whining about the whole process of htc not catering the update here. Hope it's soon though.
Thanks for reading
Sent from my HTC Desire
i hope they will release it in several weeks...
Just emailed htc regarding this and their response was the exact date hasnt been confirmed but is expected soon...: (

Did you buy your Desire locally? I am in Hong Kong, but my Desire is from Europe. I got the update the same time as everyone else.

I feel sad. Really sad about the delay

Well if you're using the Asian rom, of course the update isn't out yet. They only announced the European update...

Anyone on 3 UK had the Froyo OTA upgrade yet?
Sent from my HTC Desire using XDA App
My Local 3Store says MUCH later this year... and possibly as late as 2011.
WOW!!! I can't believe you guys haven't got the Froyo update yet. I got the update as soon as it came out, and I am on 3 Sweden. I wonder why they are taking so long there in the UK???
Keith
I am on 3 UK and got the OTA available about a month ago but didnt install it as I wanted to root and updating makes it harder to root.
Post the ruin if u have 2.2 then

Nice to hear that ... hopefully operators will be able soon to push the update out for branded devices!

Vodafone branded One X, nothing here... Is this just for unbranded handsets?
Now those with branded handsets (Voda, O2, etc.) just have to hope that the operators were given the update back at the start of the month along with everyone else and have been working on it for two weeks, so we'll get our updates in a day or two. It will be a nightmare if they've also just received everything today and branded owners will have to wait three weeks to get this...

Yes, for now...
Well, first impressions are that the screen flicker is more noticeable than before but then I'd kinda half expected that from reading other comments on here. Not really noticed anything else yet, it's a bit early to say.

Lost another 1GB memory space though...
Just got UK 1.29 (finally) but rebooting Sense has lost me another 1GB of memory space (see other threads re the same)....

Look, if you are on a BRANDED handset (Orange, 3, 02 or Voda) you WON'T HAVE the update yet because it has to first be passed approved by your network, which can take weeks. The best we can hope for is that they have been working on it since the beginning of May, when it was released...

You got to flash stock recovery, relock bootloader, and flash RUU. Than wait for OTA. Do update and unlock again. And so on.

Got update
UK handset from CLOVE. Unbranded. Got update after manual check.
Last month we heard that the HTC One X and One S handsets were about to get the jump to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. Well those in Singapore and Taiwan did indeed get the update, while others elsewhere were forced to wait. But now it's reached HTC One X handsets globally. So good news if you've been twiddling your thumbs, wondering where it is.
I checked my Htc One X T-mobile UK... "There are no updates available for your phone"
Any idea when the Jelly Bean update is coming for the HTC One X T-mobile UK?

Tmobile is the UK's biggest provider, but unfortunately the worst at updates (always last)
I have a tmobile branded handset and it would be great if tmobile surprised us all, but I wouldn't lose any sleep over it.
My guess is, based on their track record, we won't get it until the new year

I read somwewhere on here that branded orange received the hox jb ota, considering both orange and T-Mobile merged into EE its pretty dam poor that t-Mobile is dragging its heels.
To be honest I'm vexed with the whole fiasco of vendor vs carriers.
I have fond memories of my hd2 where none of the above mattered, just flash away and not loose warranty.

Why open a new thread for this when there are already loads of Jellybean threads? Restart your phone and then check for updates again and Jellybean update should be there.
Yea just searched and the small OTA was there and then did a restart and JB was there.
