There's no such update on Virgin. It could be harded or even immposible to root so you better wait for confirmation.
EDIT: No update on my phone cos it's already got newer 1.15.405.4
Just received my replacement desire, checked the software version which is
1.15.110.11
looks like there rolling this out preinstalled
I got mine the other day. Mine is on orange and came preloaded 1.15.61.10 and there are no updates for the phone

Different networks will probably have different id numbers for roms.
It's likely that Orange's 1.15.61.10 is T-Mobile's 1.15.110.11
Confusing I know.
ok, I've installed it as I am getting a replacement handset anyway due to lots of crashes.
firstly. stopped crashing...
secondly. battery life is massively improved!

Just downloading it now...
My Orange phone is 1.15.61.9 with no updates available. Not had any issues. Anyone know what the .10 diff is?
some very minor update.
Orange phones should get the FOTA in a couple of days time. try again on Saturday.
I just received my Desire.
2.1-update1
1.15.405.4
Got mine from Vodafone today....1.15.161.4. already had one update so don't know what the 1st one was or what has improved?? awesome phone though!!
I received mine last saturday and it's 1.15.405.4 ...
1.15.405.4 here - unlocked sim free from Handtec
Actually, orange peeps still on .9, try again......it's either working now, or will be this evening.
1.15.61.10 on Orange. Just had the update minutes ago.

I received my Desire today, Simlocked to Orange.
Got in at about 1.30pm, set the phone up and moments after setting up, got the OTA update. now on 1.15.61.10.
It's my first foray into the world of Android, I've come from a Samsung Omnia,
and I'm rather versed in the way of ROM flashing.
Loving the Desire so far, looking forward to the purported update which will add 720p playback and recording.
I am right in saying that this latest update is to fix battery issues people have been suffering with right?
I'm afraid 720p playback is not possible on a screen that is 800x480.
it does seem that 720p recording may be possible
Sent from my HTC Desire using the XDA mobile application powered by Tapatalk
oh that's too bad, although 720p recording should be great!

It records at around 20FPS now on QVGA. I can only imagine how slow it would be at 720P
That's unless they patch the FPS on the camcorder (I really hope they do)
do (my firmware is 2.1-update1 (1.15.405.4), and the maximum resolution is 800 x 480 could confirm me effectively with the upgrade can be recorded in hd 1024 x 720)?
Goodday developers and owners of desires!
As there were news all over about 2.2 being released, it seems like Asia's not receiving it, anyone here have a explanation for this!?
Cause I'm actually in no hurry here, it's just too many of my desire buddies are whining about the whole process of htc not catering the update here. Hope it's soon though.
Thanks for reading

i hope they will release it in several weeks...
Just emailed htc regarding this and their response was the exact date hasnt been confirmed but is expected soon...: (

Did you buy your Desire locally? I am in Hong Kong, but my Desire is from Europe. I got the update the same time as everyone else.

Well if you're using the Asian rom, of course the update isn't out yet. They only announced the European update...

Nice to hear that ... hopefully operators will be able soon to push the update out for branded devices!

Vodafone branded One X, nothing here... Is this just for unbranded handsets?
Now those with branded handsets (Voda, O2, etc.) just have to hope that the operators were given the update back at the start of the month along with everyone else and have been working on it for two weeks, so we'll get our updates in a day or two. It will be a nightmare if they've also just received everything today and branded owners will have to wait three weeks to get this...

Yes, for now...
Well, first impressions are that the screen flicker is more noticeable than before but then I'd kinda half expected that from reading other comments on here. Not really noticed anything else yet, it's a bit early to say.

Lost another 1GB memory space though...
Just got UK 1.29 (finally) but rebooting Sense has lost me another 1GB of memory space (see other threads re the same)....

Look, if you are on a BRANDED handset (Orange, 3, 02 or Voda) you WON'T HAVE the update yet because it has to first be passed approved by your network, which can take weeks. The best we can hope for is that they have been working on it since the beginning of May, when it was released...

You got to flash stock recovery, relock bootloader, and flash RUU. Than wait for OTA. Do update and unlock again. And so on.

I got an update message for my O2 phone yesterday! Only to find it was to upgrade me from 1.26 to 1.28
Just installed now. On o2 but got from phones4u so not sure if branded or not

Unbranded from CPW, installed now. Looks good so far, and the screen corruption issue is gone.

Got update
UK handset from CLOVE. Unbranded. Got update after manual check.
Hi all, first post.
I'm not sure if its just me or is there no information available for this topic on xda or the web? Other networks yes but orange, no.
If anyone can shed some light on the proposed date for this I'd be very grateful.
Ps I did search xda and came up with a thread discussing the Nokia lumia.....?
Cheers.

It seems you are right.....
Three UK did this to us on the 1.29 update, they ended up being 3 months late for the 1.29 update, but paid us back with the 2.17 instead. Hope your situation doesn't go sour like ours did!

Same old useless answer
" we don't have any info yet, but will tweet when we do "
Funnily they haven't replied to my 2nd tweet about that not surprising me with both orange & t-mob the 2 not to have released it and both being the 2 behind EE and that it looks like custom is the best option.

Last month we heard that the HTC One X and One S handsets were about to get the jump to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. Well those in Singapore and Taiwan did indeed get the update, while others elsewhere were forced to wait. But now it's reached HTC One X handsets globally. So good news if you've been twiddling your thumbs, wondering where it is.
I checked my Htc One X T-mobile UK... "There are no updates available for your phone"
Any idea when the Jelly Bean update is coming for the HTC One X T-mobile UK?

Tmobile is the UK's biggest provider, but unfortunately the worst at updates (always last)
I have a tmobile branded handset and it would be great if tmobile surprised us all, but I wouldn't lose any sleep over it.
My guess is, based on their track record, we won't get it until the new year
Sent from my HTC One X
I read somwewhere on here that branded orange received the hox jb ota, considering both orange and T-Mobile merged into EE its pretty dam poor that t-Mobile is dragging its heels.
To be honest I'm vexed with the whole fiasco of vendor vs carriers.
I have fond memories of my hd2 where none of the above mattered, just flash away and not loose warranty.
