I went from the rooted stock ROM to the latest Android Revolution HD 3.0.0.
I followed all instructions, superwiped, installed the rom then flashed the boot.img. It all went well, but now my phone is running super slow. Massive lag on the touch screen, internet is incredibly slow, apps take a long time to load.
I wiped the dalvik cache and cache again in recovery, but still no change.
What should I do? What have i done wrong?
Thanks for any help

Heya,
Installed CM7 latest today, booted it up fine without gapps, but then went back re flashed CM7 and added GAPPS, now it gets to the 'welcome to desire hd, touch android to begin' sits there for a couple of seconds then goes back to the CM7 boot animation over and over and over...
tried wiping all caches, data resets.. no good.
Any ideas?
Cheers!
wipe cache, dalvik cache and reflash the rom, also check the MD5 of the rom you loaded in case there was a corruption in download or on the host side.
I believe that is due to wifi set to ON at the first boot (without reboot) but the issue solve +-2 weeks ago at cm7 nightly.
All you need to do is just do a full wipe, flash rom .. reboot ..
on first reboot do not on wifi, reboot into recovery , flash gapps , reboot ..
then setup again .. hope it will work.
Hi,
I have the Leedroid 3.3.3 installed on my HTC Desire. I have also downloaded the latest Sense 3.0 add on for it but once i install it nothing has changed at all. Weather app hasnt changed nor has the lock screen. I installed through recovery console. Left it as usual installed from .zip. Took 5 minutes to boot back up and there was nothing there. Ive tried this twice also and have had the same result. Could i be doing something wrong here which i havent realized? Also i did do a search of the forums but couldnt find anything.
Thanks in advance
hi m8,
first of all remember to do everything in recovery
heres a step by step guide (its short)
1. boot into recovery
2. wipe dalvik cache (its under advanced)
3. Wipe cache partition (its in the main menu)
4. install add-on, then it should work
sometimes wiping dalvik isnt enough....
Thank you! It worked!!
Hey, for some reason I just started having huge problems with clockworkmod recovery within the last few hours. I've had my nexus for a month just about and have been unlocked, rooted , and flashing roms since day one ( I've been flashing my phones for about two years now, just so you know I'm not a noob) and before tonight haven't had one issue. I was running aokp build 13 , and decided to check out the progress on cm9 kang. So I flashed it with no problem , rebooted, set up the rom, and then I went to flash Lean kernel 1.3.0 ( which should work for all 4.0.3 roms) and I ended up getting stuck at the "Google" boot screen, so I booted back into recovery and figured I would just restore my backup of aokp 13.... so I wiped data, cache, and dalvik and proceeded with the restore. The restore got to restoring data , and I got an error saying "data cannot be restored" or something like that. So I figured it was a fluke of some kind , so I tried again... still the same thing. So I tried another one of my backups , still the same thing . I can't figure out why none of my backups will install. So I had to download the stock recovery image and run the bat file just to get the phone working again , and everything was fine . I was back on android 4.0.1 and unrooted. So I rooted again and flashed recovery all over. Made a backup of the stock rom, and proceeded to flash aokp again and the install went smooth, but now any ics gapps I use end up in market force closes, so I figured " I don't feel like dealing with this again lol" , so I booted into recovery and attempted to restore my backup of the stock rom..... again it failed.....
I am beyond confused now what is going on with my recovery, especially since I started fresh a couple hours ago. If anyone has any idea what is going on or if anyone has some input it would be much appreciated. I'm going crazy over here
Edit: I also forgot to add that it seems recovery isn't wiping everything fully. As in I'll wipe data, cache , and dalvik , then install the same rom I was using ( the actual update.zip) , and everything will still be the same when I reboot , meaning all my apps are still there and my docks are still set up the same way like it wasn't wiped at all. Very weird , I've never seen that happen before.

Hi,
I recently rooted my Desire HD and have attempted to install the ICECOLDSANDWHICH 4.0.3 ROM. I followed a tutorial where I booted into clockwork recovery and cleared my cache then installed the ROM from the update.zip on the SD card where I had put it. The ROM seemed of to installed successfully as it rebooted, but I am not stuck on the ICS boot screen with falling hexagons in a loop. I thought at first that it may take a long time to start up first time but it has been like this for over 20 minutes.
How can I fix my issue?
Thanks in advance.
I would suggest a full wipe, cache wipe, and dalvik cache wipe. THEN install your ROM. You should work just fine then. Just try it.

Hi,
I started using PA on my Galaxy Nexus with a fresh install of 4.0 Beta 6 about 4 weeks ago (unlocked and rooted via nexus root toolkit, recovery is teamwin).
Since then, I installed every update through Paranoid OTA, so I am on current 20140318 now with GAPPS stock 20140318.
Everything was great.
Suddenly, a few hours ago, the phone started rebooting again and again until I decided to take out the battery.
Since then, it hangs during boot at the PA logo.
I tried reinstalling pa_maguro-4.0-BETA6-20140217.zip and pa_gapps-stock-4.4.2-20140217-signed.zip through recovery (after backup of course), but this changed nothing.
Fun thing is... I am moving to a new flat tomorrow and really need my phone to organize things.
So if anybody has an idea what I can look at or how this may be fixed, I would really appreciate it.
Thanks!
Stephan
Edit: wiping cache and dalvik cache did not help...
Factory reset and reinstall

Seems like you got stuck in a bootloop. bootloops can occur pretty easily, it’s mainly caused because system files interfering with each other which causes instability and/or crashes at the boot sequence
Try doing a fresh install (use latest recovery version of your recovery)
- wipe data/factory reset
- wipe cache partition
- format system and data
- wipe dalvik cache and flash the rom and gapss again
