My Screen Flickers on Home Tab - HTC One X

Bought my One X for less than a month and the screen starts to flickers when it's on Home Screen. Then 3 days ago, the screen just couldn't wake up anymore. Tried pressing the power button many times but the screen just wouldn't wake up. Out of 10 times pressing it, only 1 time it wakes up. But it won't wake up again after the screen went to sleep. Even if it wakes up, the resolutions is off. All the characters and icons are expanded and I see layers of them. Just like how your computer monitor out of sync.
Sent back to change a new unit (I have to wait for 1 day to change it) but when I got back the replacement unit, there's dust underneath the screen. Crap! I had to ask them for another replacement unit but they said that is the last replacement unit of the day that they have. Bull**** distributor.
Very dissapointed with HTC now.

[Q] Question marker on the battery and screen frozen...

Just made a call for 45 mins on lumia 900 which I got from ATT today (data connection problem has already been fixed), the screen turned to be black and cannot get back to the normal state with any effort on pushing the buttons.
Thought the battery might be drained, so connected the charger, wired things happened again: the question marker showed on the battery and the screen was frozen. Waiting for 10 more mins, the question marker was still there and no more actions could be done on the screen.
Press on the start button for 10 seconds to restart it without sliding the screen to power off (since the screen was frozen), finally it got back to work. Checked the battery was 45%, so it was not drained.
Maybe another problem Nokia need to fix......

800 also suffered similar problems. So does my woman's Focus S. An update did indeed fix it.

[Q] Phone powers on for 1-5 seconds then off, won't show charging icon

So the other night I updated to cm-12.1-20150614-NIGHTLY-d2tmo, I wasn't exactly fond of lolipop, and planned on downgrading back to kitkat the next day.
However, this morning I noticed my phone was powering off, not even rebooting... and when I turned it back on, the "optimizing apps" would occur 85% of the time. I had to do some work and had it charging (low battery), and it stayed on during an hour's worth of charging... However once I stepped out, I noticed it had gone off again, so I turned it on.... and then when I wanted to turn the screen off, a short press on the power button brought up the power menu...with a slight screen flicker. Short or long, the power menu came up, and then the phone went off.
Every attempt to turn it on afterwards has resulted in the phone vibrating, and showing the S3 splash logo for about 1-2 seconds... Pressing the button combo to get into recovery mode lasts just as long, and download mode lasts about 5-6 seconds if I can hit the volume up button quickly enough. Plugging it into charge shows the battery icon for a second, and since I had disabled the LED while charging...can't tell if it's doing anything when the icon no longer shows up.
I was using an Anker extended battery since last October, so I thought that might be it. I pulled out the original battery and hoped for the best... same deal.
When I place either battery back in, it vibrates and the Samsung splash shows up for a second and then it powers off.
Plugging it in to the computer or charger without the battery in, will cause it a red LED to show followed by a vibrate, and then the LED flickers quickly 3 times before going off.
I did some Googling and it may be sudden death syndrome? Power button's gone faulty (could the battery case housing the larger Anker battery pressing against the power button be to blame?)?
Is there anything I can do?
Son of a..... I saw a few suggestions to tap (with some force) the power button, and with not much to lose, I took my original battery and gave it a couple of good taps (not with extreme force, I don't need a dented battery!). Put the battery back in, and ....... powered through fully (though still did the annoying "optimizing apps"). For the time being I won't use the Anker battery and will just use the home button to activate the screen.
I assume there are replacement power buttons/ribbons/etc?

Backlight works but screen is black

I don't use my watch every day. A few days ago I picked up my 1st gen from the charger and the screen stayed black. If I touch the screen the backlight comes on, but the screen stays black. If I hold a finger on the screen it buzzes like it should when you change faces but stays black.
I've tried holding the button for about 3 minutes and rebooting. I let the battery run down over a couple of days and recharged. Nothing has changed the behavior. Maybe it's just dead.
This is already a refurb as I got a replacement for burn-in spots right at the end of my warranty. I wonder if replacements get a new warranty.
Ideas?
Try doing a factory reset. might resolve your problem.

Screen and touch replacemen freezes when screen off.

I just replaced the screen and touch of my phone, and also the battery, and I'm having trouble with the touchscreen when turning the screen on. It takes about 10 to 12 seconds to get a response since I turn it on and it moves. After that, it works GREAT, until you turn off the screen again. Then it goes all around again.
The dude told me that the battery had some lithium leakage, but didn't know if the phone was affected or not.
Any ideas? Could it be from the leakage? or maybe a faulty touch/screen? Or incompatibility since it's not the ORIGINAL screen?
Hi Friend, has the same problem here, went back to repair shop and they changed my screen with a new one (warranty), now it's working perfectly.

No picture, led blinks and phone vibrates?

I replaced a cracked screen a few weeks ago. I didn't put the new screen in flush at the bottom, slight gap and as a result the new screen cracked from pressing pressure. The screen still worked but cracks got worse over time.
Also the screen would freeze now and again for a minute or so then back to working again.
Now the screen goes dead and the charging led blinks with cable in and the phone vibrates every 3 seconds or so in a permanent loop with charging cable in?
Any ideas what's damaged and if it's fixable?
