Why does the battery drain faster when I have a notification at the top? Does it have something to do with the leds blinking???

Yes the led blinking keeps the phone from deep sleeping its causing a wakelock. This is why they added the feature to turn off the low battery led because it would endlessly drain it to zero. So yes this is causing the battery drain.
Does that feature exist on touchwiz roms?

Stock TW doesn't have a low battery LED notification. Just a pop-up dialog at 15% and again at 5%.

I'm running Calks 3.0 ROM with FC24 modem..I also use JuiceDefender which cuts off connectivity to data and such when my screen is off. I usually see 2 days out of my battery with moderate use.

EL29 calk+EL29, autobrightness on in the dark, wifi on. 9hours after charge, 3h display on, 49%.
Use wifi, or if it's not available and the signal is poor, force roaming with something like Roam Control.
So I am running Phantom Blazer and I have to say I am pretty pleased, but is there a way I can get the battery notification from the Blue Kuban rom on to the rom I am currently running?

There is a line across the top of the notification bar instead of the typical battery icon

That requires adding a bunch of code to systemui.apk it is not something that can easily be added to a ROM

I noticed there was a major battery drain issue for my phone with cm10 ROM now. I looked at battery in settings and it said screen was taking over 60% of my battery!. I tried Battery calibration and still didn't do anything. Any help?
Download GSam battery monitor from the market and find what's sucking the battery

Hey do you know of some app or something that will help battery life?
Sent from my SPH-D710 using xda app-developers app
There are several apps out there. Personally I don't use them. Some tips would be to turn off all location services in settings and raise or turn off auto refresh intervals of apps and/ or widgets

Probably. I haven't ran cm10 in awhile but if the updates re-write system files then most likely that mod will be erased each time.
