Hiya, I can't get Gameboid to work on my Xperia Play R800x running Chevy's FXP115. Anyone know of a fix? ;-;
Some emulators don't work on certain roms. SNES9Ex doesn't work on Ice Cream Sony rom for example.
Try VGBA instead (think thats its name)

Sorry typo on the title....meant to put snesoid.
Ever since I have updated to 2.3.4 snesoid seems to only load the Rom and boot me back into the Rom selection instantly... Anyone else experiencing the dame thing?

I'm not sure what could be going wrong but I do know that if 2.3.4 broke my snesoid, I'd be flashing back. Lol. 2.3.4 isn't worth it imho.

I have an R800i and R800a, R800i as of now is somewhat of a testing unit for the R800a for custom roms and such.
One question I have is which roms out there allows you to use the gamepad on the game?
I know for a fact that on CM7 u can't use the gamepad with games like dead space/BF2.... any EA games.
Can anyone suggest any other custom roms that allow the use of the gamepad on EA games??

Hi guys
I have a xperia play and am going to root it again tonight ( I got stuck on sony ericsson screen after tryn darkforest rom.) after I have rooted I wanna put a 4.0 rom on it is there any stable 1s if not can you guys recomend me a few decent 1s that wont affect me using my games.
Would be gratful of any help thanks guys

I think most of the 4.0 Roms are still in alpha or beta stage and have some features missing so I'd say wait until the official ICS update is released, then see what people do with it.
What games are you intending to keep?
Just using anything but a stock based Rom makes PlayStation Pocket disappear as I found out yesterday Crash Bandicoot still works though
Last Rom I used (aside from my current CM7) was T.E.A.M Rom. Its just a modified stock Rom

Well I got fifa 12 tiger woods 12 stuff like them mate. Yea I did read somfin like that somwhere. So think I will wait for 4.0 and will have a look at that t.e.a.m. Rom see how that it I wanted cm7 but it just wouldnt install installation kept aborting was tryn for over a week lol

I got CM7 up straight away but lost PlayStation Pocket lol
Really annoyed me as I'd just installed the PlayStation Network Store thing (the new PlayStation Store) and paid £3.99 for RayMan which I now can't play until a stock based ICS Rom comes out
ICS is apparently due on the 19th roughly so not too long to wait

Well if you flash cm7 you lose the PlayStation Pocket app
I'd suggest getting a PlayStation emulator like fpse anyways. There's only a few titles that don't run properly

Well I just found out my fifa is only a trial now after the probs av had it was full version before that lol. I did have that but I am usless with emulators lol they never work for me lol

Is it not possible to backup the PlayStation app with titanium backup then restore it on cm7?
@Scouse83 as for custom roms have you unlocked your bootloader?
As alot of the custom roms require custom kernels which in turn require an unlocked bootloader

I have a r800i,2.3.4, DiXperia, locked bootloader, root and cwm.
I'm looking for a psx emulator with touchpad support, I have seen fpse, but it doesn't have touchpad support for the GB, so I was wondering if there is any emulator with an In Screen l2 and r2 and working touchpad support.

Recently i flashed slimbean and turbo kernel and there both great.
But, MC4 doesnt recognize the phone as a xperia play. Anyone know why? All my other touchpad games work perfectly though

try changing dpi to 240. dead trigger touchpads work?
I never played the game but here are some general suggestions.
Change your build.prop values like android version back to default (You will still obviously be on JB, some games use that as a measure).
Try the touchpad activator app because the touch pads are utilized in two ways but so far we only to know how to use one way at a time.
Maybe later I'll get some more ideas from memory.

Then there is no other option. Go back to stock quit complaining.
