Recently i flashed slimbean and turbo kernel and there both great.
But, MC4 doesnt recognize the phone as a xperia play. Anyone know why? All my other touchpad games work perfectly though
Im using MC4 1.0.0 Wapshop version.

try changing dpi to 240. dead trigger touchpads work?
I never played the game but here are some general suggestions.
Change your build.prop values like android version back to default (You will still obviously be on JB, some games use that as a measure).
Try the touchpad activator app because the touch pads are utilized in two ways but so far we only to know how to use one way at a time.
Maybe later I'll get some more ideas from memory.

Tried all that.
Then there is no other option. Go back to stock quit complaining.
Ok, i switched kernels and now it works.

Hi im running cm7 on my play and when i try to play most games on it the game pad doesn't work but if i download the xperia play test app everything is working.
It works with emulators and minecraft.
I've tried uninstalling the apps and reinstalling without any luck. Still no touch pads response. Some games it happens with are fifa, lets golf 3 and modern combat 3

well it works with PES and minecraft and emulators so not exactly lose touchpads.
i seen a thread to put the games that work in cm in green and red for ones that dont. seems all EA games and Gameloft dont work with cm7.
there was solution there so thought id create another to see if anyone knew that didnt see the other post

To be honest, you're better off paying for FPSE. I bought it today and even without my kernel being overclocked it runs smoothly. You'll be able to play the other Crash games as well
I paid £2.39 for FPSE and it was worth every penny

that was always an option, but I have some PSX games in my house that I want to covert to xperia play due to the fact I like the convience of them being there when I slide out my gamepad
Well I guess I'll use FPSE to see how it runs, Is there a free version that I could use to demo or only paid?
N my So I bought Nova 3 from the app store today and after it finally finished downloading the extra files I realised that I had to use the touch screen so I wanted to know if any rom could solve this whilst still allowing me to be on ICS, thanks in advance for anyhelp

Lol'd. So you like gaming and you use ICS. Worst thing that you can do. Less ferfomance, no support from dev, no touchpad support for some games.
Srsly, go GB & use True Ancestor.

ICS has a low performance for gaming, remain on GB, I use Xperia NXT
Yep, GB is the way to go, i use Gin2Jelly.

hi, i upgraded my xperia arc to ICS three days after it had come been released. The issue is that previously all apps i ever installed were working. Since the upgrade most of the heavy games such as Asphalt 6, Asphalt 7, GT motor academy and many more are not running or stop working even before the race starts.
I had bricked my phone 6 months ago in an attempt to root it and with the help of a ROM from XDA, i was able to get my phone running again. After this my phone refused to get updated through PC suite but successfully went through the Sony updater.
Can anyone plz tell me if this can be fixed and what is causing it??

yes, but other games such as guts and glory and blood and glory also dnt work.
blood and glory starts up but during the game, i have to use two fingers to swipe or select otherwise there will be no response

It's more of an ics problem, I have issues with games as well but not the ones you mentioned.
Ics is not game friendly like gb was, not100% certain but don't think there is a work around other than going back to gb.

I gave it try in 2 or 3 ROMs i like, i never succeded ...
Perhaps too heavy for our device?
I am not a heavy player, just once in a while some asphalt 7 and have no problems with that...

Yaay!! Thanks to(ilikethewayyoumove) I can now play mc4 without any lags and get about 24-27 fps.
Simply put,
1. Run the game with gamepad closed at launch at then open when you are about to play
2. Make sure your mobile data or WiFi is active when you play the game.
I also recommend you use the 1.0.1 version of the game
Try these methods out and see the result.

OK, so I started the game with the gamepad closed.... and when it loaded my previous state... I opened the gamepad but didnt see a difference... I am on V 1.0.1. Does this really work? I tried this repeatedly three times each time force stopping the game then restarting.... nada...zip....
i would get the wapshop version. It doesnt lag when the gamepad is open.

Just got mc4 no lag now. Much much better. Almost as smooth as mc3. Not quite but way more playable. GL needs to fix the android market veraion for this. But its GL...so no.

Alroght so using a fps counter gamepad closed I'm getting 46 fps. Gamepad open. 24-29fps. This normal? Think GL needs to fix that. This is using the Google play version 1.0.1. GL wPshop version is 1.0.

24-29 fps is quite playable but I get about 33 fps during normal gameplay and slightly less in heavy battle zones. Your fps Is quite ok.
