Ok so that we dont get a stupid number of threads popping up about phones that have been dispatched from suppliers or received phones im creating this thread.
Anyone who has got an email saying there phone has been dispatched or if they have received their phone can post here and I will update this first post to keep a good idea of who has stock in.
Just post where you ordered your phone and when it was dispatched and it will be added to a list. Please copy the email into this thread as well (deleting confidential information) as people will demand proof . If you bought one from a shop you can post it here too so we can build a list of shops with stock.
PLEASE DO NOT START NEW THREADS OR THEY WILL BE MERGED INTO THIS ONE.

seriously?
It is possible that stock may have arrived early... Specially if you ordered as soon as per-orders were open. I am expecting mine on Friday.
I'm not going to go near a phone shop tomorrow as reading about the nexus I can handle but seeing it and not having it I can't
I hate each and everyone of you that have and will post in this thread. =-)

I don't mean to sound like I don't believe you or anything but a little proof wouldn't go a miss, perhaps add a copy of the message with your personal info removed. Surely you are not the only person in the entire world getting it delivered on time?

The truth is some people WILL get a Galaxy Nexus today.
Either they ordered from phones4u almost immediately when pre-ordering started,
or
They will queue up outside Phones4u in London in the morning or manage to get lucky at a three store that has a very limited stock available.
But they are risking not getting anything at all within the next week by queueing up as if they do run out of stock then good luck getting a Nexus delivered on Friday...
So I would expect to be jealous of a few people tomorrow... but who knows maybe Phones4u will end up delivering everyones phone tomorrow? I guess we will see in the morning.

I know I shouldn't say this but....... I hate you!!!
I just sent myself an e-mail to make sure I'm receiving e-mails properly!!!!
Well it doesn't look like anyone else has had a delivery notification yet - so either one guy got lucky or he's a big fibber
I'll post back if and when I hear...
It seems awfully quiet in here...

P4U Twitter feed is reporting all deliveries of the Nexus have been delayed by a day.
But ... no one got one from store in the Oxford street?
Come on! There must be someone
Was (is) there any long queue?

Is that another day delay or the original day delay?
Just looked on Twitter and it was just a reply to someone which said they had been delayed by a day and would be received tomorrow - so just looks like the original 1 day delay - no need to panic people

So, in theory, all is still well... :|
Just phoned up P4U
First guy told me they're not receiving the stock til tomorrow, and it will be sent out tomorrow.
I queried why their phone shops had stock but they were unable to fulfil pre-orders.
He said he couldn't answer that and passed me to another dept.
She said the same thing, they've been let down and they'll be sending the phones out tomorrow for 50% chance of a Saturday delivery and 99% chance on Monday.
I made clear I was annoyed that pre-orders were being delayed but shops were getting stock, at which point she told me my phone might be delivered tomorrow.
I asked why she changed her answer and she said:
"it says on the internet orders will be delivered on the 18th"

Holy crap he got one with the engineering ROM. I wonder what he could do with it...
Man the text on this phone is HUGE!!! Even on the GN you were able to reduce the size of the text a bit more than this. Anyone else find this text way larger than it needs to be?
Also for all those who are consideirng buying. Handtec fantastic retailer. I use to buy from them back in my winmo days and they would always screw up the importing documents and the package would be stuck in customs but they have fixed that now. Fast and smooth transaction and it was also the cheapest i was able to find it.
I'm glad you had a good experience with Handtec. I was thinking about ordering from them here in a few days as well.
did you try and change the font size in settings?

I believe its random. I've ordered twice from Handtec. Last year I got my GS II from them and it arrived the next day without being stopped by customs. My One X is in customs now. It was supposed to arrive today. I faxed the papers in and my phone has been released. It will arrive tomorrow. So it was only a 1 day delay.

Yea. I changed it to small but i believe the GN had a tiny setting that this device doesn't have or the small just isn't small enough.

I actually believe all packages go through customs. You only get stuck when some document is off or if some genius over there reads the document incorrectly. That last one really pisses me off. From my experience it goes through customs in the middle of the night. Once its starts moving the UK it gets to the US the following day. For the east coast folks i believe it stops in Memphis which has a customs office and then goes out from there.
at what time/day did you guys order it? and what color? did you choose Fedex or UPS? someone from NY said he got it the next day..his package didn't have to go through customs

I'm not sure how anyone would know if it went through customs or not? There is a difference between being stuck in customs and going through customs. I think its like saying I didn't go through airport security just because you didn't go through extra screening. I'm pretty sure it all goes through customs but then again I've never worked for fedex or UPS so i don't really know.
In this case I ordered on Sunday afternoon and they shipped it out Tuesday evening UK time and I got it Wed morning before 1030AM.

It was 403.99 pounds without VAT, which you don't have to pay if you are in the US. That turned out to about 685 US dollars.

I'm using on At&t but I believe it supports 850MHz and 1900MHz on the One X but only one of those for the One S. I haven't had any connectivity issues but I also have not left Melbourne FL since yesterday when I received it. I also bought a micro sim cutter. I'm sure you've already considered this but I wanted to let everyone know that the Noosy second generation cutter is great although the adapters SUCK!!!!!

You can set the text size to small and reduce it even more if you pinch to zoom when you're in an actual text message!!! It'll be bloody tiny! Or skip the: Settings - Small step and just pinch to zoom when you're in a message.

hmm ok plan b.. install 'rom toolbox' from the market go to the last page of the tweaks and choose a font from the font installer..some of them are really tiny
Sadly I enjoy the current font. Just wish it was smaller. I mean to be honest its a nit picky thing. If my only complaint about the phone is the font is too big then HTC is doing something right.
Cannot agree more on the font size!!!
I'm getting a little annoyed by the font size too!!
Received my One S yesterday and the font size is the first thing that caught my nerves!!! I was like !!!
Especially in the Email app, even setting the body font size to small, the text is HUGE on the emails!!!
I own a Galaxy Nexus too, and the font size is SOOOOO MUCH more normal and gives you more sizes to choose from!!!
So I'm guessing its a HTC Sense issue...
I actually posted a thread on this problem too (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=24749856)

This will not work for everyone based on your location. You need a few Best Buy stores around you, that will get watches at some point.
Also, there is NO GUARANTEE as some of this is luck. I only worked on maximizing my odds.
Here is what I did:
1) I went to the Best Buy site, searched for 'moto 360'; clicked the model I was interested in; clicked on 'Check availability in store'; entered my zip code, and current store availability was displayed.
2) I copied that page's link
3) In my case, I already had a small python script that would check for relevant changes in that page, but you can use pre existing solutions. The best mix of 'free' and good polling frequency would be a browser extension, such as 'Page Monitor' for Chrome or 'AlertBox' for FireFox. Bonus: they will check for only the bits you are interested in.
4) You are only interested in a new store showing up in your list! This is the one that is getting a delivery.
5) Even better: in my experience, the web site will be updated before the store's internal stock information is. There is quite the lag, in fact.
6) Walk/drive to that store and explain that, yes, 15 minutes ago (or whatnot) their store did not have the watch in stock but since then they got a delivery. That will make them think about that big truck they just saw and hopefully agree to check it out.
7) Run away with your watch (well, paying seems like a good intermediate step)
Except when your store lists it as in stock even though they know it isn't.

Nope
I just waited until late in the day and called whatever stores that still had one. I asked if they had it, two only had the silver one but I found one that had it in black. I figured if no one had picked it up by then I might as well drop by. I got one at around 7p yesterday evening from the Best Buy in the not so good side of town. Easy.

All I did was step one and went to the store first thing. Got mine no problem as it was in stock for pickup today just like their website said. I got the last one so no telling how many that store ever got in. BUT there was no other store within the zipcode radius I entered that showed it as available for pickup today so I count myself lucky in snagging one.

Yes. If I wrote "Walk in any Best Buy that claims to have them in stock" there wouldn't be much value in that.
That's why, instead, I wrote to wait for a *new* Best Buy store to suddenly claim to have one. Not one that had been claiming that for hours.
This was helpful for me. Thanks.
No stores in my region have one. I'd have to drive about 5 hours one way to get to the nearest one.
It seems that the watches completely missed the Midwest.

Great idea! I tried writing a script in python using 'urllib2.urlopen' but it doesn't return the same data as Chrome or Firefox. It always returns "We're sorry. This item is not available for Store Pickup in your area."
What python library did you use?
I had given up on getting one from BB yesterday about 1200. Got home and just happened to check the site one more time and my local store finally had some in stock. Called em up and they said they had 1 left and there was another guy on the way to pick it up but it was first come first serve. So I hopped in the car and drove like I stole it all the way there and it was still sitting in the display case... Needless to say, I'm the one looking at notifications on my wrist today.

Opposite for me. Drove to the store, they sold the last watch 15 minutes before I got there.
I managed to get one at my local best buy as well. The site showed stock so I ran up there at lunch. Some guy was walking out with a black version (I wanted silver anyway) and when I asked the blueshirt working the mobile department he said he had a truck full of stuff and there should be two silver ones on there but it could take hours before they unload them... I waited a bit to see if they would put them out... Eventually someone else asked if they could help me and I told them I was waiting for something that was being unloaded from the truck.. "We didn't get a truck today... we get them on Friday...." Uhh.. ok... but this guy said blah blah.... The second guy just walked into the back and found them on the stack of stuff from UPS and brought them out. I wonder if the first guy was hoping to buy them himself at the end of his shift and sell it on ebay...
Either way... score!

I did exactly this. Woke up yesterday at 8 and checked online and saw that a BestBuy about 40 minutes away showed them in stock. Drove over, was the first person in the store and got one. The 2nd person in the store got one too. They only received two the night before.
Dont see how you guys are finding these things 4 days after launch. The 3 BB's in my city each received 2 units, and of course were all sold out by the time I got there. Or at least the personnel claimed. 2 of them didnt even know what it was "uh, a modo 360? huh?" and then just pointed me in the general direction of the smart watch area, and yes I was in the mobile department that sells them. One other person just immediately said "sold out" and she's taking care of like 50 customers so I'm just like "really? You just know that off the top of your head?" So who knows. Online claimed they had them in stock.
Thanks for the tip. I was able to snag one today. They said sold out, I showed them the website with the "Available in store" and they looked it up, located the watch, and sold it to me post haste. I was even able to get in a Mover's coupon for an extra 10% off.

Yeah see this pisses me off, because I had 2 stores say that their webpage lags behind actual inventory. I even had one BB tell me that the other BB definitely has 1 in stock, and that he was looking at an actual inventory scan list or something and NOT the website. When I get to the other BB the dumb chick behind the counter just goes to BB.com and says they're out. I make her turn screen and she's not even looking at the right thing. Then she says "he said we have 1 in stock? They should never say we have just one, because if it's just one then that most likely means NONE"....
WTF?!
To her point, the BB rep who helped me today saw one in his inventory, knew where it was (on a desk in the back), but also made sure to check the rest of the system to insure I wasn't about to purchase one from underneath another buyer. But the ETK (new employee toolkit) showed that it was free and clear, ready for purchase.

I keep searching their website and I cant even get it to display stores in my area when I key in the zip code anymore. It just says not available in my area.
I just received and email letting me know that my rebate was rejected because the preorder date was not correct , I preordered on 10/17, the promo site clearly stated that Verizon buyers had until the 23rd .
THIS WAS ALL MAILED IN

I looked at my submission, and it looks like they definitely made it hard to actually contact them. I cant imagine that was a mistake.
Probably have to contact Samsung themselves and fight for hours to maybe get someone that can and will help.
I sent mine through on the 23rd, and havent heard anything yet.

One possible issue is they have several promotions running at once. It almost sounds like they put you in the other promotion:
GET UP TO $200* FOR YOUR TRADE-IN.
Trade in any working smartphone when you purchase a Samsung Galaxy Note® 4, Galaxy S® 5, Galaxy S® 5 Active or Galaxy S® 5 Sport (Galaxy Note® 4 available to Verizon customers starting 10/23/14).
Your receipt is before 10/23, so you are not valid. Another possible issue, and I'm not saying this is true, but did you possibly sign up for the rebate I just posted?

Okay so I resubmitted my rebate using the link above that shows in parentheses that Verizon users have until the 22nd to do a pre order here's a photo of the confirmation screen I got on my computer if you look at the circle it shows the same thing about Verizon . Now in the second photo this is the actual email confirmation I got after filling it out if you look at the red circle you will notice that the part about Verizon having until the 22nd has been mysteriously taken away.
It looks like there is a major bait and switch going on. The whole reason I am even doing the mail and is because when I enter in my information on the web their vacation it claims that my IMEI is incorrect.
Again, they extended this to 10/31 and no preorder was necessary. Just send in a copy of everything via mail.

My guess is that someone didn't realize the promo was extended then. They must've looked at the original promo when they denied it
I couldn't get it to work online either, so I emailed them. They said something like "We have updated our website so please try again." I did, and it amazingly worked.
However, one place says it all must be on one receipt. Verizon can not do that. They said in the email to me that it didn't have to be on one receipt, so I guess others had complained about that.
I could be wrong, but I swear there was a difference in wording on what to circle too. One place said to circle the trade in, the date, and the purchase of the Note 4. Then in the process is listed what to circle again, and said something different.
Lastly, it said the photo had to be of the original receipt. My Verizon store checks you out on tablets, and emails you receipts. I clearly told them I needed a physical receipt for a rebate. They gave me one, but it's my receipt printed on 8.5x11 paper, not the normal receipt paper. So I'm waiting for them to say they are not the original receipt.
The one thing they can NOT get me on is image quality. I busted out my dslr for the photo. The image, while under their maximum size, is large enough for the blind to be able to read.
So yeah, overall, I'm almost expecting to get screwed over by this somehow.
I was one of the few that successfully did it online. I did it on release date and I'm still waiting on a response
Sent From My VZW Note 4 POW!

+1, same as you, I did it online and no problem, pretty straight forward and simple. The only thing that I noted that when ask to upload files, you need to upload one receipt for prep-order and one for trade in. It won't let you continue if you only upload 1 file.

You are one of the few lucky ones , most of us trying to do it online are getting the "invalid hex/imei" error . It seems like samsung wanted to minimize how many of these rebates are getting paid out .

I never noticed that, nor did that. I uploaded one single picture showing everything. I did that on 10/23 like others. I got the email confirmation they received it, but nothing past that point.
I got the invalid IMEI message, too.
Did you try re-entering it without spaces? Once I typed it as strictly numeric, it took it.
I entered mine about 30 diff times and every way possible
Completed my registration, chose to do the $99 set, it marks my registration as approved, then lists a button to "buy now" due to limited supplies.
Button doesn't work, it isn't even linked to anything, cannot get back to this page any other way. Site says i will get an email with the link to buy for reference, haven't gotten that either.
On hold for samsung now, but I assume they are getting demolished, cause the hold times are unreal.

Not yet, just left the call going while doing other stuff, 1 hour and 33 mins waiting so far. If I ever get through before i give up, I'll post what I find out.
at least it isn't just me. I hope this doesn't mean it sold out already somehow tho. I'll be super pissed.

I had the same thing happen. Went to email confirmation and clicked on the link in the email to purchase and it worked.

Answer:
The server/website part that handles the $99 deal crashed, they noted my account of what happened (so I dont get screwed I guess, we'll see) and told me to call back tomorrow as they don't believe it'll be fixed tonight.
They do not have an answer on how to get back to that page or if the email will be sent as their page advised, but said they have steps they can take if called to resolve.
So I guess I will be giving them a call tomorrow morning to see where they are at.

You are lucky, I have not gotten the email and it's been nearly 2 hours.
I just completed the online form. Looks like you have to wait for manual approval on their side before the email with purchase link will be sent to you.
When I clicked on check status,. it said "Please allow 24 hours after submitting for your submission status to be available with your email address."

Did they change it since earlier? Others were able to click the pay now button.
This is what that page said for me, leaving it up for "proof" to samsung if needed.
"Thank you for your registration. You're approved.
You can purchase your fully immersive Gear VR experience* for $99 now by clicking the link below. We recommend you purchase now as this gift is available for a limited time, while supplies last, on a first-come, first-served basis. You will also receive an email with your link to purchase for future reference."
Called them earlier since I'm working and can just leave the phone muted waiting. 2 hours on hold now total. First bit was a waste of time. As an FYI for anyone else that calls in, you have to tell their system you want the promotions department. No one else can help supposedly.
I had the same issue.. Here's my convo
K: I've registered my device (S8+) but I was unable to click the link to purchase the promo package for $99
Yaser S: Not to worry, I will be happy to help you to apply for free Gear VR promotion.

I was on hold for over 3 hrs this morning, got transferred 3 times, finally just gave up. The promotions department told me it was another department because there was a purchase involved. He told me the promotion department only handled the free VR set. What a mess. Please keep us updated.
ok, finally talked to someone, here is what I was told. They requested I try and register again because the shop samsung app didn't show I registered. "our app is more up to date than our website"
So I tried that and got a kickback I already registered. So then they tried to tell me the buy now button ONLY works for people who purchased from Samsung and anyone who purchased through a carrier needs to go through a 24 hour manual approval process before they can pay for the $99 bundle. They told me the email would show up within 2 weeks for the bundle, but registration confirmation is within 24 hours. I complained saying others were already paying for this bundle, since some have, and that I don't want to get screwed by not being able to get the bundle since supplies are limited.
she said they cant do anything but note the account, wait for approval and see what happens. Gave me a ticket number for reference in case I do get screwed.
So even tho their website says, "you are approved" this isn't true apparently unless you purchased from Samsung (i just don't believe this to be the case, but maybe.)

I had the same issue last night. Tried again through the app from work this morning. Everything was fine and went through. My advice, try again. I kept getting that my EIN didn't match my Mac address.

Different issues, still had issues. I think the thing is their site may have been having issues. However, now these issues have no issue.

I got the you're approved email as well. I wonder what happened with Samsung to have them have this much trouble with the offer?
