Hello all,
Xda is my last hope.
I need the .64 baseband to make a rom work, i have a ARC.
Can someone kindly upload to me?
I already searched in many places. In the baseband thread, the links are off.
Thanks!

It's says 62 (because of firmware v.), but it's 64 - i tested it.

Here you can find baseband and corresponding libs.

Its a Jap version, So you might find the Stock Kernel on a Japanese site.
I haven't seen those in XDA.
Download the Firmware, Its in FTF format and Extract it with 7Zip, You will find the Stock Kernel (Kernel.sin) file inside. Flash it in Fastboot mode.
I can send FTF file for you or you can download WOTAN (it is free) an flash your device.
I've also need an original firmware for acro with kernel and system. If anyone can point me in the right direction i will be very grateful because i managed to brick my acro. Thank you so much

I Have 1 Sock Kernal Backed Up..
Android Version 2.3.4
Build Number is 4.0.1.B.0.112
If there's still a need for this,
As I cannot post links or sites, here are almost a site from where I downloaded and flashed mine:
Site:
arkdroid.info/xperia002/
the file is : IS11S_4.0.1.B.0.112_KDDI.ftf
But I tried after flashing the Doom's arc custom kernel and the mobile has some bugs after flashing the original even with the original kernel flashed.
Mine, it doesn't work well the 1seg and SD card doesn't mount...
Trying to figure out a way to fix it...
If someone finds, please tell me.
Thanks

Search around the forum, there are hundreds, if not thousands, of different FTF files available. Go and look for the one that you need.

thanks electrash ! so now i've downloaded the generic 0.42 firmware.. but could someone shows 'how to' flash it's baseband only using flashtool?
I think that you can use Flashtool to do that http://androxyde.github.com/Flashtool/ . My question is, the .42 baseband is truly more battery friendly? How have you come to this conclusion?
im using .42 for long time, and is very good for me.
I've a question: if I use Flashtool and flash just the baseband, will I loose all data etc? Do I have to perform root again?
i think everything remain.

Baseband for Xperia Arc S

Hello all, I have a Xperia Arc S mobile with FXP128 and baseband version 64. I want to upgrade the baseband to 72, but I don't know how to do that.
There are lots of baseband availabale here: http://uploaded.to/folder/um2ivw
Which one must I use for the Arc S?
How must I install it?
Thanks and best regards.
Wrong forum. Go for "LT18i" also flash it using flash tools.
Watch here threse baseband are ok...
Or you can download it from your link, (LT18i=arc s) (BB72= baseband 72) and (4.1.B.0.431=firmware where BB comes from)...
So for your choice, you must flash with flashtool version LT18i_4.1.B.0.431_BB72.ftf

[Q] Changing Baseband.

Hi all,
I am a newbie to xda and rooting.
I have Xperia Pro MK16i and i wish to root it.
Its on baseband 64 with 4.0.2.A.0.62.
I understood till flashing .62 by .58 and then rooting and installing custom roms etc.
My problem is, I am confused as to whether i can flash my baseband.
Assuming that I've flashed, rooted and installed 4.0.2.A.0.58 and runs on .58 with baseband 58 and firmware 58, can I upgrade my baseband alone to 77 using flashtool while running on 58 firmware?
Someone please reply ASAP...
Hearty thanks in advance !

Yes, you can flash any bb although it isn't the same number version but it isn't necessary to make a so outlandish thread.
Thanks...
