there's no solution to this, do not use your phone and that issue will be gone... ordroid has the best battery life out there.... however moderators don't like this kind of question so next time try by yourself and choose the best one
Turn off Google location service. It's causing battery drain on JB roms.

i confirm viperx drains battery very fast...maybe turn the settings auto backlight lower can help
ViperX Rom has a lot of addons so has a big battery drain.
You can use battery apps (like Juice Defender or DS Battery Saver) to minimize battery using when the screen off

For me those kind of apps only reduces my battery life. And btw my battery life with viper is pretty good.
I think some app is causing you drain.

Im fine with the battery drain of the Viper Rom. On my device it's a quite good improvement compared to Stock, but you should test youself which Rom is the best for you.
Cheers
Guys, can you tell me how can I fix battery life drain in cm10, I really like it but through night it drains too much battery, it works fine but battery is running low very fast. Is there any solution for this and can it be fixed, I saw the new update for cm10 but I don't know how much it drains battery. I am using cm-10-20130728-NIGHTLY, the newest version is cm-10-20130811-NIGHTLY should I update it or not?

Battery drain is also caused by the background running apps..
before u go to sleep greenify all the background runnng apps.. n u can also disable system apps which are of no use usng disable services..
give a try

Okay so here's the story.
I have been playing a game and getting stutters, which annoyed me. So I thought to fix it I should tweak the CPU settings. It didn't help. I now have really, really bad battery life. Like 1% a minute. I need this solved, it's scaring me. I am running PA 3.68, no custom kernel. I may have also tweak some things in the normal Settings menu, Developer Options.
What I need is to reset my CPU stuff back to normal, all the other battery things and fix this ASAP.
I don't know what to do but I need this fixed, so as long as its safe and it will work, I'll do it.
Thanks!

For your info: your running a custom kernel. I don't know what you screwed up but I think reverting to stock via fastboot should solve it.

Deleting battery stats file does not improve anything on your phone and it does not fix any issues either!
And restarting consuming more battery is normal, as phone is using more resources to load Android.

Thanx for the correction, Someguyfromhell. Just thought that was the only difference with my installation as my Arc S does not lose so much loading up with my many apps.Thanx still
I have also experienced big drain during reboot and specially when in CWM installing stuff or running/restoring backups. Out of that battery is just fine so I wouldn't worry :good:
try using kernel fusion 5.5/5.4

Am on the official 4.3 getting better battery performance at the moment. Maybe it was because i rooted the 4.1.2 before?

Try this app
Deep Sleep Battery Saver Pro or Deep Sleep Battery Saver
OR
update to the new version dr ketan v6 is now available
install BBS and see which wakelocks causing the battery drain.
can you specify more detail about how fast your battery drain? any background apps is running? Some time it is depend on how user use the phone. Like me everyday i charge me phone for 1 time and my wifi is on more or less 8 hours and play some social apps. For me it is reasonable
Quick method

Quick Method :
1. Turn off data & wifi and check drain for 8 hrs. If you find its much better check individual apps that connect to internet and see which is consuming more juice.
If not :
2. Instal wakelock detector & post the screenshot here.
can u tell tha estimetad time drining the batt? before and after drketan rom
