Screen is probably the biggest reason. The slcd2 on thr one x is probably one of the best screens I've used.
Battery life is around the same, but it should improve with later updates.
Most of the quality control issue are sorted out if not all of them. Just make sure you get a recent one. Granted I have a first batch one x made on China and it's perfect

make the jump... i came from the s2 and loved that phone to bits and still say it was the best phone i ever had but my One X is hands down ten times better and love it...You will not regret it my friend and once you get to grips with flashing roms and kernels you are in for a winner

Hi thanks for ur replay
How do i know if the htc one x is recent one ?
And my friend got htc one x yestrday i saw it
But there is a weird thing when he opened it the sticker on the screen (is htc one x ) and as i know and seen on videos that it comes with sticky on it says(im the one you have been waiting for)
Does this mean new ones comes with only htc one x sticky on it ?
And can u please be kind and tell me what the first things i need to check when i get my htc one x like check screen and what else ?

How is the gaming preformance is it better than sgs2 ' and does it over heat more than the sgs2, when playing games?
And is it less laggy or more laggy than the galaxy s2, when it comes for multi tasking ?

hey...find it better to be honest with you gaming wise. and no heat or anything like that. and no it is buttery smooth for me my friend..plus there are threads in general were it guides you on how to get the best gaming experience..
in general anything you need to know you will find a guide here
and this phone like i said is fast, smooth, good performance wise and gaming could not ask for a better phone
If you don't care for removable battery and additional storage space then it's a fine phone. If the two fore mentioned are of any significance then I suggest to skip the phone.
The screen on the one x is fantastic, it's sharp, clear and bright. Better than amoled for whites and colours are closer to natural. However blacks are not as deep and contrast not as high.
The performance is fine for a tegra 3 device. The heat is not much of an issue it does heat up but it won't burn you or explode type of heat. My sgs2 use to heat up as well when playing games.
Give it a hands on and if you like it you'll be pleased with it. I adore mine and wouldn't swap it for anything at the present moment.

I came from SGS2-IPHONE 4 and SGS1 as well and i dont miss them.
The HTC One X is a very beautiful Handy with a really good user Interface. I love it.

I had the Samsung Captivate (Galaxy S) then the international version of the Galaxy S2 (i9100) and now the Tegra 3 HOX. I used to be a Samsung fanboi so it was a gamble for me, plus my wife has an iphone 4S so I can compare agaianst that one too. Hi, here are my comments. Keep in mind that you are not switching from an old Motorola to a One X you are switching from one of the best smartphones ever made (Galaxy S2). Here are my comments.
1. First week: complete culture shock. I missed the deep blacks and punchy colors of my Galaxy S2. HOX looked ok more natural but kind of washed out colors, I missed those saturated colors of SAMOLED. Speed wise I did not see what the fuzz was about. Speedwise I did not see any differences. SGS2 felt more fluid, tiny lag on the HOX. I did like Sense though. Rooting the HOX was scary compared to the SGS2 but I got through it. Missed the SGS2 XDA community a lot. Dissapointed with HOX, wanted to return it, but I remember having the same feelings with the Captivate so I decided to give it a try.
2. Second week: either my eyes got used to the blacks and colors on the One X or my display adjusted itself. Now I am seeing what the fuzz is about, now the blacks seem fine on the HOX and oh my those colors and resolution!!!! I compared it side to side with the SGS2 (already sold to a friend) and it was a relief, even my friend seems jealous of the HOX screen. Facebook, ebay and Kindle look like CRAP om the SGS2 compared to the One X, those whites!!! Side to side with my wife iphone 4S, on par cant see much difference which is a good thing as the iphone display is superb. Looking at kindle with white background the One X looks better. Speed is fine its fast but still that annoying lag when turning homescreens. Camera is great if you fiddle with the settings as sometimes it chooses a high ISO and look grainy but look sharp with ISO100. Lowlight shots are great way better than SGS2.
3. Third week: Installed Charmeleon ROM, added transparent notification pulldown, great notification settings menu (EQS) and slide status bar to adjust brightness, things I missed on my SGS2!!!! Solved phone lag, it was just a matter of installing APEX Launcher and volia! My phone now feels faster and looks better than what I had on my SGS2!!!!! I made it!!!! I am in ecstasy! Only 2 problems!!!! MY WIFI IS BROKEN (known design flaw) and my battery still sucks when compared with my SGS2!!! SGS2 18 hrs use/4 hrs display time. HOX: 12 hrs use/2 hrs display time. Yuck!
4. Fourth week : The only 2 problems I had with my HOX (battery life and wifi dropping out) are now solved!!!! Solved the lousy battery life by decreasing brightness . I found out that if you decrease it at around 30% it still looks great you dont need it at top brightness and now I am getting 22 hrs/4 hrs battery life on average but for instance I am doing a movie test and it has been running for 5 hours and still has 37% left! The wifi issue, this one was tricky: I opened my HOX and adjusted the wifi contacts myself. Not that difficult but I was lucky I didnt damage anything. Now wifi works perfectly!
5. Ultimate test : SGS3 vs HOX encounter. So my friend went to a meeting and I borrowed his SGS3 for 2 hours and made comparisons like crazy. Let me tell you the SGS3 is a great phone I declare it a tie vs the HOX. The HOX screen still looks better specially the whites and it is more defined and clear. Design and materials on the HOX are better however the SGS3 also is a nice phone it is not the piece of crap some reviewers want you to believe. Plus there is the removable battery thing.
In summary I am delighted with my HOX, best phone I ever had. However, as you can see I had to make the following tuning:
1. Root
2. Installed Charmeleon / Faux Kernel
3. Waited some battery cycles (charge at 10%). It does improve over time!
4. Lower brightness
5. Installed APEX Launcher for turbo fast transitions!
6. Fixed wifi myself (as I am out of warranty anyways)
7. Definetely not having SGS3 envy!
I say go for it IF you are able to return it easily in case you have any out of the box issues. It seems you have better chance of getting a perfect SGS3 vs a perfect HOX.

Hi man thanks for ur replay wow u did a great review thanks alot !
Now my only fear is about the wifi( because if it had any problems i cant return it there is no warranty for devices where i live......)
I talked with a friend of mine who just bought the htc one x today
He told me that he tried the wifi and its working fine with no dc
And with long range
If i got my htc one x does this mean that 100/100 i will get a problem with wifi ? Or not ?

No Issues
I have had my HOX for almost 3 months now.
I have had no issues till now.
I always get great wifi signal strength and speed.
This was a great review! Just came from the Skyrocket (great phone by the way) to the HOX....tried waiting out the SGS3 but needed a phone ASAP. Initially thought I'd just swap when the SGS3 hits stores but this one is growing on me. It has such beautiful hardware! Thanks for this info.

Hi there,
My OnePlus One is " dying". Screen starting to come off on the right side, battery going down fast, and sometimes not even charging with the cable pluged in.
I'm looking for a good phone, not to expensive and the Mi6, like the mi5s and s+ seemed right.
Though i looked through the forum and seen there's many threads with both hardware and software issues. For the 3 phones.
So is the mi6 a good phone to buy in all objectivity or should i go for a note 2 even if i don't like the screen, or even a totally différent brand ?
I've been using my mi6 from July and I've got to say it's been a blast! great hardware for the cheap price, software keeps on improving with MIUI 9, and I came from one plus x, boy what a wonderful decision I made

Cool, thank you for your reply.
Is the audio OK for both music and calls ?
Because i've red that there is issues with that but don't know if it's coming from Miui or the speakers themselves.

audio is superb, since it has 2 speakers. so music is great and calls are loud
I've been using the Mi 6 since August and it has been great. I haven't had any problems with this phone. The audio quality is great for both music and calls. The camera is also good but I don't use it very often so I really can't judge. I would recommend this phone.
Ah, the Mi 6 is a complete Joy to use! The Ceramic version is very sexy...I sleep with it at night!
The phone is fast, smooth, no problems with Stable Global Rom - except I have to fight to get out to accept Bluetooth sometimes - Camera is excellent in good light and passable in dim, the speakers are almost as good as the HTC u11.
I use both the OnePlus 3T and the HTC u11 and find myself reaching for the Mi 6 by default.
Of course you can't beat the OnePlus for updates....but it's an excellent phone for the price, you won't be disappointed.

Yeah updates are always a tricky part i guess, but if miui doesn't fit me, i guess i could go for lineage or something else ^^
I used rarely bluetooth si it's OK.
What about the wifi ? Is it good or got some drops or disconnections for no reasons ?

WiFi is solid actually...very strong and good lock and very accurate. GPS is tenacious...it won't let go where others go cross-eyed!
If you can, get the ceramic... Prices have come down. I've seen complaints about how quickly the glass scratches. And it feels like liquid in the hand.....

Well i got lucky because i found a code to get the mi6 64gb at 300€, though i dont know if it's the ceramic version.
I'll see. I planned on getting nillkin tempered glass and tpu nature case to cherish that phone good
Don't have any problem with mine, really happy to bought it. I'm coming from MI4 and Mi6 is really impressive.
If you like the Mi 6 then you should definitely get it. It was beyond my expectations from the moment I took it out of the box. THAT WEIGHT!
I'll forever be miserable picking up those poxy light phones like the Pixel.
You can feel the quality in the phone. It's like a liquid dream to the touch even in a case.
I only have the glass but I can only imagine the Ceramic is deluxe so you will be happy with either one.
If you like One Plus 5 and you don't mind the jelly screen effect (I've never tested one) then maybe it's more for you.
It's slightly bigger and as mentioned I think updates are definitely more frequent.
MIUI is actually pleasant. People don't get on with it but to me it's the closest to any of the custom ROMs I used on other phones without even rooting.
And yeah there's plenty of ROMs for Mi 6 now.
I hope you're happy with whatever decision!
Hopefully helps make an objective opinion based on full review summaries - Ideally, need a 'Metacritic' for gadgets including mobile phones.
I usually use 'The Verge', 'GSMArena' & 'AnandTech' reviews to help make my decision before I take the plunge for a new handset.
XDA support for the handset is also an obvious factor.

My main worries are the battery life & the screen visibility outdoors (which seems to be a recurrent theme based on reviews thus far) - reminds me of the Desire-HD
The more reviews I watch, the less excited I am. I've seen more than one reviewer having issues with the buttons, and one with screen color unevenness, and backlight bleed.
I just don't understand how these guys can even review a device with pre release hardware. All these review devices are pre release version software and not even final products. I was using u11+ before it was fantastic in every way except for sunlight legibility.

Point. The review units of the U11+ had a dimm display as well, as the JDI panels used weren't the final batch. Might be the same here. Buttons are working fine on mine nevertheless. You just got to calibrate the sensitivity of the short squeeze a little bit, as that applies to the buttons as well.

A lot of these U12+ reviews have come out in the last 2-3 days - pre-release software perhaps but unlikely pre-release hardware!
Also, if multiple sources independent to each other mention similar concerns/ compliments then some credence must be given to the overall opinion
Most of the early U11+ reviews did point out poor sunlight legibility & poor battery life - this opinion, overall, did not change in the later/ more detailed reviews by other sites well into U11+'s release.
Most important aspects for me are:
- External speaker volume & clarity
- Camera
- Build quality
- Battery life
- Screen quality
- Custom ROM support
The U12+ seems to tick about half of these boxes for me so far. Depending on custom ROM support, there may be some battery life improvements etc; and hopefully the handset price will be more affordable in a few months.
Right now, I am not convinced enough to take the plunge........
I agree some credit must be given but battery life was never an issue with U11+ or even U11. Sunlight issue was there.
Sent from my H8266 using XDA Premium HD app
U11 battery was not really an issue (average scores).
But with the U11+, a bigger battery did not translate into better battery stats disappointingly. It was poor compared to similar sized competitors.
U12+ seems similar to U11+ rather than U11 in terms of screen & battery reviews - this is a worry.
It's your call. Battery was average for u on U11 but not for me. Don't worry if u like it go for it otherwise let it go.

You mean that the sensitivity of short squeeze affects also the power & volume buttons? Because in many reviews they said that you can't change that.
Also, how is your experience with these new buttons? Are they responsive ?
thanks

LOL. 2 out of 5 beacuse of... buttons.
They say "When something as basic as a button doesn't work reliably, any other critique is redundant." and i am asking as an owner of pixel 2 xl, can we say the same for pixei 2 xl, because fast charge doesn't work? (need 3 hours for a full charge)

I agree. Battery life on u11+ was decent, better than my mate 10 pro which i had at the same time.

You mean that the sensitivity of short squeeze affects also the power & volume buttons? Because in many reviews they said that you can't change that.
Also, how is your experience with these new buttons? Are they responsive ?
thanks.

Yes it does. Currently sensitivity of a short squeeze and the buttons are exactly the same. Since I took my time to calibrate it properly, I didn't experience any of the problems mentioned in reviews.
Maybe HTC is going to release a new OTA to decouple those two sensitivities in the future. But they are currently bound to each other.

So the reviews are wrong , because they are saying that you can't change the pressure of these buttons.
That's why sometimes they needed more pressure/effort to activate them. They have change the short squeeze sensitivity...

My main worries are the battery life & the screen visibility outdoors (which seems to be a recurrent theme based on reviews thus far) - reminds me of the Desire-HD

Android Authority seems to be an utterly unreliable site for reviews, it's also a recurrent theme... my battery is so far stellar, easily last into the second day with modest/avg use during work days.
I do not have any issues with outdoor visibility - perhaps they forgot to turn off the batter saver...?

Yes, someone should explain them how mobile phone UI works, that there's a menu in the upper right, hiding behind "..." - why is it that mobile reviews & tech, in general, attracts the lowest quality wannabes...?
I understand that nowadays every idiot thinks (s)he is a journalist after the first blog post but these places supposedly pay for these ****ty reviews, don't they...?
2 more reviews that are saying same bad things about these new buttons

I did expect that these new haptic buttons will be something good to mention. Every time i rad new reviews , is becoming a disaster...
For battery life, I would suggest watching j William review. Only for buttons which can be fixed by software update it's not a issue. I am going for this one just my personal thinking.

While I am very concerned about this phone I feel like the issues with the buttons could be fixed rather easily with a software update giving more control. Maybe I'm wrong though.

Can only repeat myself. Issue seems only present on US and UK based reviews. All others don't even mentioned it. They rather state the buttons are working as expected, but you got to get accustomed to them. My review unit is just flawless in very much every single detail. No problems here at all.

If its a problem on us and uk , then its htc's bad for giving them these units of u12+
I have had the Pixel 2 XL for a bit over a year now. Allready swapped it 2 times (Audio problems and Screen Problems) and begin to get annoyed by some aspects of it :
- The 3D-Wrapped-***-screen - This screen is bad. I slowly get used to it but find myself put off by how the colors look and how my 6P had a better screen. Thanks to the absurd 2.75D Screen curvature I cant get a proper Glass cover for it and have settled on a plastic protector. It looks horrible.
- Software bugs -> How come I still get random bugs / freezes on a Google Phone with Google software ? Why do icons sometimes disappear in the recents view ?
- Sound -> I loved the stereo speakers on the 6P, I hate those on the 2XL.
And many other gripes...
I have two choices right now :
- continue to RMA the phone each time something breaks (speakers are at it again I believe) and finaly get my money back after 4-5 times, like the 6P in the end (not a bad deal if you think about it).
- sell it and get somethign else (OnePlus 6 / 6T ? Pocophone F1 ? Mi 9 ? Other ?)
What are the aspects you hate on this phone ? Which one has you drooling right now ? Is there even still a phone with a flat screen (realy dont get this idiotic trend... same as glass backs without NFC / Wireless charging...)
Cheers !
I don't have software bugs on my Pixel 2 XL - no freezes, no disappearing icons, nothing. Works like a clockwork :good:
My speakers are decent, also no problems. I don't use them extensively, though. The screen is better after I had to replace it (dropped the phone on solid tiles), my original screen was from October 2017. But the original one was not too bad, I got used to it.
I never would replace my phone with a non-Google phone - never had such good software on an Android device. Not to speak of fast updates, some phones just got Android P and I can install Q meanwhile.
Remove that screen protector!
A few scratch still look 10000 times better than any screen protector

Samsung 10e seems to be phone for you if you are looking for one with a flat screen. Oneplus 6t is a good option too but doesn't have wireless charging and camera is mediocre compared to pixel.

If S10's camera is anything like the S9, then it's not much better than the 6t... It's amazing for videos, but for stills, nothing beats the Pixel (2 and 3)... This is coming from a photographer...

Yeah I'm aware of that. Pixel produces the most natural looking pictures.
It's a REALLY tough decision, in my opinion. I've been debating the same thing for a couple weeks now too. My big thing is front facing speakers, an absolute must for me. I've seriously considered the Razer 2 but I've recently decided against it. I have the opportunity to get a Pixel 3XL for next to nothing. I'll probably hop on that train. I love this phone too. I'm just ready to move on. My wife just got the S10+.... that's what's motivating me to upgrade. Beautiful phone but I need more freedom than what a Snapdragon Sammy provides...
I don't hate anything about the 2xl. The screen did have some issues but everything has been perfect with the warranty replacement I received last November. A headphone jack would be nice but not a deal breaker with the improvements in wireless earbuds. The front speakers weren't any better on my 6P and it felt like a less reliable phone due to potential battery and bootloop issues. I prefer the overall design and build quality of the 2xl. I'll wait for the Pixel 4 before I think about a new phone.

This sums up my situation perfectly. My 2xl is working fantastic and no current phones really give me that special feeling. Patiently waiting for pixel 4xl
1. Never used a screen protector since I got the phone October 2017. Thought I would miss it since I had been using tempered glass for years but I don't and my screen is just fine.
2. No bugs or freezes here. The only time I ever even restart is the monthly updates. Way better aging experience than my previous Nexus 5X or any other phone as a matter of fact.
3. It's stereo speakers and gets loud and clear enough. If I want louder I cast it to my any number of speaker I have around the house.

Like the above post, same feelings here.
The screen protector dilemma is my biggest issue. Searching Amazon, it's hard to find a good one. I really don't want to purchase another one, so I've been rocking the same screen protector for quite some time, even though it's dirty. I don't watch anything on here worth quality(Netflix, Hulu, etc) and mainly use Bluetooth headphones or Bluetooth speakers.
Just recently, my father has gotten an S10 through those buy 1 and get 1 deals, but it's too complicated for him, so I've been thinking of setting my Pixel up clean for him and swapping, but it's just hard to leave Google after being with them for so long, lol.

Before i ordered the pixel 2 xl, i read its review on gsmarena and this was quoted " overall, we're looking at some of the best audio outputs we've ever seen. " After purchase, i started seeing all sorts of negative reviews concerning it's audio quality using wired headphones.
On one hand, i am filled with excitement that i will be owning this great phone and on the other , i am confused, saying to myself, what have you just done?
As real owners of this device, i felt that this is the right place to be. Please can someone speak his mind? Thanks.

I come back to pixel for three things
1) camera 2) software which is best among android 3) speedy update s
I hate or dislike few things
)Ear piece is of poor quality i.e low volume and call clarity is average ..it was so great on iphone xr
2) loudspeaker is not good as compare to competitors i.e s9 plus, iphone , U11 etc, p20 pro etc. Its same for audio output from headphone. I will not recommend this phone to music lovers
3) brightness is low . You really need to drag the brightness slider to maximum to make it bright especially indoor
4) design is boring but then its more practical
So i guess every phone will have its pros and cons and no phone will be perfect in every thing . I am saying this after using so many flagships and switching from one to others ..there will be always some compromise so just look what matter to you most in phone and then select phone based on those requirements
Hi all, I am thinking of finally upgrading my Google Pixel 2 with a new phone. I am looking into this phone along with the Nord 2. I am curious how good this phone is. I am really pleased that there are tons of custom ROMs available for this compared to nothing for the Nord 2 so that is a huge plus already.
I want to know if the camera quality is good. Compared to the Google Pixel 2, would you say the camera quality is decent for this phone? Is the battery life good? I really wish to get 2 days of battery on moderate use from my phone, is that possible with this phone? Is the fingerprint sensor on the side reliable? I noticed that under screen fingerprint sensors are usually not very accurate. But this one has a side mounted one, so hopefully it is better. And lastly is the vibration motor high quality? Some cheap phones like the Samsung A52 5G have crappy vibration motors making it feel very cheap. And how is the sound quality in phone calls?
That is a LOT of questions! I hope to get some good feedback from you all so that I can make a decision. Thanks a lot!
Don't buy man ! You will have regrets !
Every single feature that's flagships quality is broken in aosp ROMs . Camera , Display ( Jagged edges on corners , touch stuttering , much lower touch polling and who knows what else , all ik is that touch feels like ass compared to stock ROM ) , charging...
You won't like miui for one or another reason guaranteed... It's loaded with very nice features but miui has something called adaptive refresh rate which is a fancy word for dogshet display refresh limiting that you can't even disable - refresh rate jumping all around 60 - 120hz.
I bought this phone thinking its loaded with good hardware and software support can be achieved via aosp , but no. Everything is closed source , lots of stuff is broken and the very little that someone gets to work is closed source and not shared with other ROM developers....
That on top of snapdragon 870 being the very worst processor you can get. 865 and 888 are much better processors performance wise after overclock/undervolt.
If you can I'd save the money and get a phone next year January/February once newer generations come. If you can't wait then maybe get a cheap snapdragon 888 phone ( Use kimovil to find which one that is but it sells for 400$ ... I really regret not getting that one ).
I'd sell this piece of sheet phone in a blink of an eye , I paid 500$ for it and now I doubt I'd be able to sell it for even 200-250$ lmfao.
Oh man, you seem to have a very horrible experience. Are you saying the performance of ROMs is very buggy?

Performance wise aosp is decentish, but severely falls behind miui... Arrow os comes up to pretty much same benchmark results as stock miui but still fps ain't even close to being stable like on miui.
Touch is the major deal breaker for me , arrow os is almost there but I can still feel the touch lagging behind my finger... Something you don't see on miui.
I just wanted a phone good enough to play games on ... but I spent last 2 months or whatever running around like a dog trying out various ROMs with every single one lacking something that's a deal breaker. I even went back to miui but gave up and went back to aosp once I couldn't disable dynamic refresh rate.
I hate this phone now with passion , community might be able to cook something up close to miui in 6months , a year , who knows when but I'll be getting myself a better phone ASAP
That is some solid feedback. Thanks for the information. What phone do you recommend instead of this then?
I don't know exactly why Rstment has so many problems, my phone has been running pretty smooth for the last month. On AOSP ROMs the only issue I have is broken pocket mode, which I read should be working on some of them but I can't find the time to switch ROM and reinstall everything at the moment.
I run the phone at fixed 120 Hz and it's super smooth. I don't understand how someone can say that the touch response is laggy because it's basically instantaneous. The phone runs at something like 340 Hz touch sampling, which is WAY overkill. Performance is the #1 reason to get this phone. It's really, really smooth and much better than most phones in the same price range. It also doesn't get warm during normal use (I really don't game much, but it stays cool even when I do). The screen is plenty bright and it has decent colors, with excellent contrast being OLED.
Back to your questions...
Camera is average. Don't expect miracles, it takes pretty good pictures with gcam, but it can't compete with proper flagship phones. I don't have a pixel 2, but I'd be surprised if the camera quality is better.
Battery life is pretty good, especially considering the performance. Maybe not 2 days with moderate use, but more than one day for sure. I charge it up to 85% once a day and I rarely go below ~10%.
The fingerprint reader works fine, it's quick and reliable. Nothing to complain there.
The vibration motor is a linear motor, so it's pretty good! It's not iphone-like, but noticeably better than basically every other phone in this price range.
The two things people seem to complain about are a green tint on the top of the screen and the proximity sensor.
In my case the green tint is almost unnoticeable (I can only barely notice if you have the brightness at 0 in a dark room and the screen is dark grey). The proximity sensor is... weird, as it uses other sensors to "guess" where you're holding the phone, including the gyro. If you reply to a phone call with your head somewhat vertical it works fine, but if you do something like lying down in the middle of a call it can act up.
Ok, good to know. Is the performance with custom ROMs like LineageOS etc snappy? I expected the camera to be not that great as it is a budget phone but I hope it is good enough and not total crap. And what do you mean by linear vibration motor?
I've only used AOSP roms, so I can't compare with MIUI. My wife has MIUI on her phone and I hate it so much I just waited a week to unlock my bootloader without even using the phone. So yes, performance on AOSP roms is fine (haven't tried Lineage specifically, but it should be similar).
Vibration motors can come in two shapes: rotating and linear. The rotating one is much smaller (and I assume cheaper), which is why it's the most used in cheap phones, but the linear one is much better. Compared to my old oneplus 6 this phone's vibration is both much stronger and more silent. It's also... more accurate? As in it can produce a very sharp, short vibration.
Good to know. I think I will probably buy this phone.
short and sweet I am very satisfied with my decision that I bought the poco f3!
Sample Photo look attach
a decent phone. the performance it's good and aosp roms have improved in the last months... (crdroid, arrow os and havoc os are the most stable roms that i have flashed).
pocket mode and aod are broken in aosp roms, they drain a lot of battery.
