What navigation options are there for the One X that stores the maps locally? Is HTC Still includes their location Navigation in Sense 4.0?
I've been using iGo but will that run on 1280x720?
Other working options? I hope to get my hands on my One x this week and next weekend I'll go to Paris and it would be handy to have some navigation help at hand.
Navigation from HTC is still here. Plus can cache from either WiFi only; or data and WiFi.

I'm using sygic you have to download the map when installing so it's easier on the battery when in use, I found the preinstalled gps to drain the battery very quick.
+1 for CoPilot Live, Beauty!

You could always...
...move somewhere else?
Try turning off and back on your device, that worked for me with this issue.
Do you go directly to navigation or through the car app? Not sure if this makes a difference?
I'm sure it will be fixed with a software update and some Modders have already developed a fix I think but I'm waiting for an official fix

Hi guys.
I have a orange hox, and I have recently encountered a issue with my GPS on my phone.
All was running nice and smooth until about 3 days ago. When I had my GPS on after about 20 mins it showed that it coildnt find GPS. I started up the app again and its was the same, but with navigation from google it would do that, but if I reset the prog it would work.
Any suggestions?

Whenever this happens to me I just start from scratch. Back up any of the stuff I really want to keep (pictures, and themes usually) and then do a factory reset/full wipe, battery stats and cache etc. I then reinstall the rom, or install a different one.
This has always fixed it for me, infact it has fixed most problems for me. Overheating and lag as well as battery drain!
i did many times...is this happaning bacause of custom kernel??should i install stock kernel??

Task manager is what you need. I know it was discussed many times and classified as redundant, but I had same issue like you. Fully charged battery was dropping faster than petrol from my bmw 540i. Within 4 hours down to 54%. Now, installed Clean Master from play store, and using built in task killer and can tell you its a HUGE improvement. With this app now battery show 82% in same period with same settings. Try it out and you'll see...

Viper ROM has it displayed in the stock battery app, he could be running a custom ROM or on an older version of android, if I remember well kit Kat for some reason disables that?...
