I reckon they probably don't have them, They offer next day delivery so if they took delivery on the 7th like everyone else (or have it shipped direct from the distributor) they would still be within the 7 days,

i just did live chat with them as well and they are shipping when it is released sim free, so i suspect they do have them in but are not allowed to ship until the 1st but then you have a bank holiday weekend so that would mean next day would still be the 6th as quoted.
I ordered yesterday and emailed them to see if my order would be sent out in the first batch this week, but got a reply saying it would be with me this week.
I think the person who sent email back to me forgot about bloody easter weekend so it will be next week I imagine.

Also ordered from MPD and spoke to them on live chat. Sounds like they have to abide by the official date and indeed said they'd be shipped 6th/7th.

i'm also a lil annoyed because i have noticed they are now doing the phone free on £25pm contracts and i paid £6 its not going to break the bank but still if i have to wait and get it the same time its a tad annoying. But yay not long now \m/

I had the same thing. I expect prices to drop, but not in the space of 2 days. Suffice to say, I sent them an email pointing this out and got told that once I have my phone if I get in touch again, I'll get refunded. Worth emailing them

I can imagine, unfortunately for them I certainly will be bothering them!

I phoned this morning to make the point that they had them in stock, I'd paid for next day delivery, so I should expect it on Tuesday, right?
I was told that they've got 1000 in stock, 600 pre-orders and are starting on dispatching them today. Some will be going out today and some on Tuesday.

Price of phone was £5.99 and they've now reduced it to free on that contract
mine has not changed to sent yet and i was in town today and they have them in stock in our tmobile shop ready to sell tomorrow, i was thinking it may be worth a trip down, see if they will match the deal and then cancel the one for mpd. I purchased mines from Negri Electronics and could not be happier. I recieved her today the packaging was secure and full of surprises. Enclosed was the unit wrapped in a nice bag, a USA wall plug (to compensate for the UK version), an ANDY Android figurine (nice touch) long with a thnk you card from them. The Item shipped Black Friday a day after Thanksgiving, Only because they worked there tails off on Thanksgiving itself to make sure all there units shipped Friday. For that I thank them. I could not have been happier with my choice!

To answer your question about my purchasing experience, it has been good so far. I placed an order with Handtec last Wednesday. If it wasn't for the volume bug I would have received it by Friday. I should have it Tuesday morning at the soonest.

I also ordered "mines" from Negri. It's arriving Wednesday. The experience dealing with them was great so far. Knowing what's in the box (unless I don't get a figure ) is even better! Recommended as well.

The only difficulty was deciding whether or not I should purchase one, since I owned both the N1 and Galaxy S I thought it would be rude not to go for the GNex.
Once I'd decided, it was a matter of popping down the high street during my lunch break to grab one. I was in and out within 5 minutes, so all in all MINES was a rather pleasant experience.

Mixed bag but then I expect no less from Expansys. Phone is here, I'm at work, delivered on time, no issues. I've got a billing issue that I've sent 3 emails in five days, holiday excluded, and no reply.
This fits squarely with my past dealings with Expansys: Product delivered on time as described with crappy customer service.
Got mine from local Phones4U store day after official launch. Went in when it opened to find out they put the sim free price up overnight by £80 to £629 . Didn't buy it.
Phoned head office to complain. They confirmed price increase. I told them about an official phones4u tweet sent earlier in the day that the price would be £549 so they arranged £100 off from local store. Went back and picked it up for £529. Next day, the price went back down to £549.
Bunch of jokers. Only bought from there as didn't want to wait a week for my pre order from clove.

On top of that the "launch" on the 17th was only in one store, and they only told everyone that on the morning of the 17th!
Still, I have it now and love it. Alls well that ends well as they say

That fits my situation as well.
On time, as described.. haven't needed customer service yet.. hopefully won't need it.
Ordered through Negri, cancelled it because Expansys assured me Friday delivery was a go.

Through Expansys-USA, yes. You have to send the phone to them and in-turn they send to the UK for repair. Never had to go that route, but I image it's a long process...

Ugh, it's been a huge fiasco, and I still don't have a phone!
Originally, I ordered last Friday (8 days ago) on Expansys USA for $750. On Saturday (seven days ago), I noticed that handtec would ship to the USA from the UK, it would come out to $50 cheaper, and it looked like it would get here first (at the time handtec seemed very proactive and confident they would ship my order ASAP).
On Saturday I sent a cancellation email to expansys, ordered from handtec, and waited. When Monday came, expansys cancelled my order no problem, and handtec needed all sorts of information (my passport + utility bill) to confirm my address, so my order didn't even get fully processed until Tuesday thanks to time zone differences.
Finally, Tuesday rolled around and they announced they were going to stop shipping because of the bug - I emailed them immediately and asked they send it anyway, they gave me the 24-48hrs BS, and eventually gave me Monday. Bullsh*t.
In the end, if I had kept my Expansys order, I probably would have my GN by now, and I wouldn't be hoping a UK company gets stock they claimed they would have a week ago. At least they upgraded to expedited shipping. .
Bought my Sony play, last year, and Carphonewarehouse had it 5 days before anyone else, today picked up the one x, for my wife again from Carphonewarehouse, hate them or love them they certainly do deliver. I picked the 36£, vodafone tariff, which I think will definitely be the cheapest, compared to anyone else, good job carphone.

I went into my local CPW (in Canterbury, Kent) and they didn't have it in stock. I was told they were getting their demo/dummy model tomorrow and actual stock on Thursday.

Lol, they probably kept for themselves, apparently most stores recieved about 3 units per store, in my harlow branch, they have 2 stores, both had about 6 between them.
I popped into central branch today in hull, they told me they already have their demo unit but not received any stock as of yet, to be fair i dont think the rep really new what he was on about as he didnt even know the release date

You can get the same deal from affordablemobile for £31 p/m, that is a saving of £168.
I got the same deal yesterday, but changed to £23 p/m with £112 upfront for 500 mins, 500 txt and unlimited internet without tethering today, as it is much cheaper and I don't really need the tetherting that much.

You were lucky, there was a memo sent out later today to say that the release date is 5th and not to sell them, looks like some ppl didn't get that memo! :screwy: some heads will roll!
I've been off today and heard that the black One X have come in, no one had white One X in, think there is a delay on white one.

I will be seriously pissed if they don't dispatch my white version tomorrow for Thursday delivery - the website still states 'pre-order for Thursday 5th April delivery'
If it's not dispatched, they can give me my money back so I can go & pick it up in a shop - as the next earliest date would be 11th April, which is unacceptable.
11th would be terrible for a pre-order, (a pre-order they took money for over a, week ago) - especially when other suppliers have been shipping & delivering them already.
I feel I will be phoning them a few times in the morning.
... Hopefully with good news.

Funny you should say that buddy, cause when I went to the main branch, and asked if they had it, they said they had, no problem. I left my debit card at home, so went back to pick it, and then decided to go to the branch that was out of town, and when I asked if they had it, they hesitated before saying they had, but it wasn't on system, and had no price, which kinda confirms what you saying, it's only after I suggested, all be going to pick it up then at the other branch, as I had already spoken to them, that all the customer service chaps, went to the back of the shop, and miraculously it was now priced. But the first chap, I had spoken to wasn't the one who completed the deal, instead, it was the doggy looking chap, who done it for me. Let's just hop, the units are retail Units, not test versions, in light of what you said. And now my wife, read about the HTC that toasted in someone's pocket she's now a bit worried, the phone, got a bit warm at times when I was introducing it to the world, imagine it blowing up in the pocket, "I hate the sore idea of loosing one of my b***s.

its 12:17pm - they still don't have stock for the white HTC ONE X.
They don't know when they are coming in, & its has to be dispatched today for the launch day delivery!
I've had my pre-order for weeks, they even took the money over a week ago (which they shouldn't be allowed to do until it enters dispatch process)
I asked about possible refund in which I was told it would take 4 days for them to refund me - which is absolutely pointless as i might aswell wait for white stock by that time.
The only thing they can do is offer to send me the black one instead.

I'm soooo angry, if it's not dispatched today - it will be another week at the earliest til I recieve it!

That is funny I ripped them a new one because my neighbor got his yesterday and ordered two days after I did... They told me that all orders were pushed even pre orders... So now I *****ed about the Samsung promo.... They have it set if it does not ship by my date listed I will get a credit for the promo I would have got... Lol after all said and done this only cost me 55 bucks out of pocket lol

I'm kinda curious why amazon couldn't ship out the phones so we could get them today. It almost seems like they had to wait to order the Note 4 until the 17th as well.

I thought they'd do that as well. When I preordered my PS4 they shipped it a few days early so it was on my doorstep on launch day. They're able to ship things out early so we get them on launch day so I'm also curious as to why they couldn't just do that. It looks like all the carriers have done that too.

I called them last night around 10:30 PM Central and they said everything us still on schedule. But I'm having trouble beliving them since it's now 10:21 AM and it still hasn't shipped.

If you have the standard free 2day shipping call them up and get on them about this whole situation and tell them you would be happy of they could upgrade you to one day for free.... They did for me a while ago... Then yours should be there Monday as well

Yea I already paid for one day shipping for 3.99 since I have Prime, so mine is guaranteed delivery for Monday.
UPDATE: My card was just charged and my order status changed to "shipping now!" I cannot contain my excitement.

Oh man I forgot to reply to the above questions but yeah I upgraded to one day shipping as well.
So I ordered through Mobile phones direct, expected delivery is the 8th, contacted them today and they are saying they will begin shipping on the 7th. This is no use to me and I won't be getting mine on Friday as I live in the northern parts of Scotland. However it is an indication that others Such as 02 & Vodafone will begin on the 7th.

I've preordered through Three and have Friday 8th as the delivery date.

Very are absolutely S**t, when I ordered it said expected Delivery on or before Friday 8th March, I just called them now for a order status and was just told that I wont get it until 29th of March wtf
Omg got a text from Carphonewarehouse that my order is ready for collection, went in and they can't give it to me till tomorrow. This is torture!

Yup seems to be the trend here in the UK, all suppliers must adhere to the release schedule, pre orders or not.....
Well hurrah I now have my dispatched notification through.......
I'm probably the only one praying I don't get a dispatch email tonight and that virgin don't screw up and send out tonight for tomorrow like they did with my X's when asked for Saturday delivery fortunately the wife was just on way out when yodel turned up but tomorrow nobody home [emoji24][emoji2957][emoji2957][emoji2957][emoji2957] I just know there going to screw it up[emoji122][emoji122]
