does Anker make a 1900 battery for the Evo 4g..i have searched and saw 1 for evo 3D but not the evo 4g....saw 1700 for evo 4g .....any other 1900 u would suggest that has a pretty good price since i will be upgrading soon....thanks
I'd say ebay is your best bet. I bought a new 1900mAh battery a couple weeks ago for my OG Evo for $3.25 with free shipping it has been running like a champ. I believe this is the one I picked up. It says 1800 in the description but the battery itself says 1900.
Ebay Link
Anker only makes up to 1700mah for the og evo.
And to the guy above, I bet its a rebranded stock or just above stock. It seems through all the slim batteries for the evo, their real specs are never over 1700... don't waste your money on the others. Get a anker.
thanks for all the advice
also who has the best buys on the anker 1700 ??
amazon... 10char
The Anker 1900 is not for the EVO 4G. The best battery you're going to find for similar price and quality is going to be the Anker 1700 on Amazon. I recommend spending the extra $2 for the charger as well as your phone (without calibration/modification) will stop the charge at 1500 mah. That being said, once your new 1700 mah battery is fully charged be sure to calibrate your phone to accommodate the 1700 mah.

Are the extended batteries on Ebay worth buying?
There are 1800mah and 3500mah batteries on there going for very cheap. Anyone have any experience with the "off brand" ones.
They are going for roughly $10 for 1800 and 25 for 3500, just wondering if they will actually work better than stock.
thanks
anyone yet?
The Seidio 3500ma batteries are great. Most of the time I only charge once a day. They also have a case that will fit the battery. My gf's evo today was dead by 5pm, mine was still better than 50% and I had been using my nav, playing games, pictures and what ever else in a bad signal area. Its still at 32% after a long day and no charging. My gf was using the charger all day.
Its so nice when you can go somewhere and not worry about the battery.
I almost always have to charge it twice to get a full charge, otherwise it drops to 80% pretty quick.
Seidio 3500mah is good. It's better with the external charger.
most of the off brand batteries on ebay for cheap get no where near what they are "rated" at. with the 1800 you will probably get about the same as a 1500 mah stock if you are lucky.
The extended 3500 etc battereis for cheap on ebay are ussually even farther off. yo would be lucky to get 2000. If you are looking for a real extended battery at this point siedio is your best bet though more expensiove it is the closest to giving the actual rating for extended batteries
Back when the EVO first came out, I jumped on that set of EVO batteries on eBay that was two batteries and a wall charger and the combo proved to be VERY good quality. In fact, I lost my HTC battery and I've been exclusively using these China made batteries for a while now and with my current configuration, I'm getting a day and a half with medium to heavy usage.
Well, I finally lost one of the two China batteries and my wall charger broke because it was stepped on, cough, I need to order another set and I'm wondering who/which set it currently looking the most promising.
I want the two battery charger set again. I'm sure by now someone has made something better. I don't want an over sized battery though,. I want it fit my standard case etc.
Thanks for the suggestions!

Two 1800 mAh batteries with a wall charger. MANY people have ordered this and have nothing but great results. They are indeed 1800 mAh batteries unlike most off brand chinese batteries that end up being a lot less than what they state. Best part is, it fits right in the stock battery cover with no problems! Been using mine for a month or so and battery life has definitely increased a noticeable amount.
Example: Today I have gone 12 hours and 10 minutes since I pulled it off the charger, and the battery is at 54%. That's with moderate usage, and I turned the 3G radio off for about 3 hours because I have basically zero reception in the shop.
Go to ebay and search for evo batteries. There are literally hundreds of listings. They're all virtually the same thing. I bet if you look you'll find essentially the same battery set with charger that you had before, and probably for less than ten bucks (minus shipping).
I just got an official HTC battery (it's black from a different device, Hero I think?) from buy.com for $13 shipped.
Eh.. Yeah I'm not looking to spend $40 dollars on two batteries and a wall charger when I just spent $9.90 SHIPPED for the last set and I'm getting just as good of a charge off those as I did my HTC's. I just asked because I figured there might be something better then what I had before out maybe.
Probably just buy two more of what I already have I guess.
These are the ones that I like the best. I have a few, and I got some for a few of my friends and they agree with me. Doubt they are actually 2000mah but they do last longer than the stock batteries. I also have a few other ebay batteries but these are the best of the bunch.

Hate to say it but you got ripped off big time. These EXACT batteries are all over ebay for under $10 for the same 2 +a charger set you got.
I bought some of those Chinese batteries from a seller named Touch-World or Touch_World or something like that. I tried to find him for you, but it doesn't look like he's selling anymore. I'm not sure it matters, though. The deals look the same. When I bought them it was $8 for two 1500 mAh batteries and a wall charger, all shipped to my house from China for free. Now it looks like you can get 3 of the same batteries with the wall charger for $12.
You are right, though. The batteries are just as good, if not better, than the ones that come with the phone. As I said above, I bought two of them. I used them in my Hero. When I got an Evo, I then had 4 batteries. My girlfriend and I now each have a spare battery.
Good day all out of thses two 1900 mah & 2300 mah which is better vaule for money and is the Anker 2300 mah battery really that slim it still fits with the orginal SG2 battery cover? In any case I was thinking of getting the 2300 mah battery as it got good reviews.
Thanks to all.
both anker 2300mah batteries but they look different!!!:
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/2-X-2300...AU_MobilePhoneAccessories&hash=item27bebc43ed
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/2x-2300m...AU_MobilePhoneAccessories&hash=item4cfaa21158
also the anker 1900mah looks different and more genuine:
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/2x-Anker...565191?pt=PDA_Accessories&hash=item4aacda4387
i dont know what to choose im stuck same as you.. i want the extra 400mah but will i get the extra 400mah or will i get even less than 1900mah !!!
Yes Im aware of the other batteries same manufacture as I see it.
Just wanted to know which is better the 1900 has good all round reviews as for the 2300 not heard to much on this one myself, more so some site claim it (2330maH) still fits with orginal batter cover .
I'd personally go with the 1900mah ones.
Every battery with more than 1900mah while still stock size I've seen reviewed has actually had less than mah than the stock battery.

Thanks for your input D3 like I said there not much (or Im looking wrong places on net) on reviews on the 2330maH battery, at under 10 euro/pound I may just order the 1900maH one still no rush.
Do you actually believe some company managed to stuff more capacity into a battery without increasing its size? There's a reason samsung's 2000mah battery is thicker, don't be fooled by the rating on a non-oem battery, its fake all the time http://batteryboss.org/

Then im sure samsung which is one of the largest electronics manufacturer in the world would of figured this out by now, not some unknown anker company. Don't be fooled by a label on a battery, even the popular seido/mugen batteries fall short of their ratings.

anker is not an unknown battery company... they are known for their high quality batteries...
and its proven multiple times that the 1900mah battery is 1900 and even 2000 for some ppl....
i do think the other one is fake though (the 2300 one)
Im thinking of getting the 1900 battery together with the anker charging dock you got a 2pound discount!
Went for the 1900mah placed order thanks to all
can someone tell me if this is the real genuine anker 1900mah battery that everyone is getting here on xda?

As per the photo yes but if you have not done business with said dealer drop them a line to find out if these are genuine anker batts.
This way you'll have digital proof if they turn out to be fakes and you can take it up with ebay there after...
I'm looking for batteries for the atrix because I think mines is dying.
Came across this on Amazon:
http://www.amazon.com/Motorola-Droi...NFTM/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1325791682&sr=8-1
ONE PENNY FOR A BATTERY?!?!?!?!? 4.99 for shipping but..
ONE PENNY FOR A BATTERY? wow. i may buy like 3 of them. Or spend a dollar and get 100!
It's actually the BH5X, while our phones use the BH6X
I found the BH6X for $15. still not a bad deal. Bought that and an external battery charger for $20 total!

Well buy 100, with shipping it will be 501.00 with shipping.
They won't combine shipping. Its how I do it on eBay, .1+5.00 or 5.00 w/ free shipping.
Just picked up two of these and a charger on Ebay for under $15. That should extend the range of the Atrix to a couple of days.
I actually bought one of those for 1 cent without realizing it was a BH5X instead of the BH6X. It will fit in the case and charge even though it is a little smaller ( I believe it is 1500 mAh while the BH6X is 1880) It is a Droid battery that will fit and work in an Atrix.
However I am scared to use it. I really think it will jack up my battery optimization if I switch between the 2 batteries. I will probably charge it and keep it for an emergency backup only
I am looking for a safe and durable battery, but until now I have just found:
- Motorola original battery BH6X Atrix Li-Ion 1880mAh (21$)
- Anker 1800mAh Li-ion Battery for Motorola Atrix 4G (21$)
On the Italian Amaz. website.
Are they too much expensive?
Thanks

You can find better prices for the BH6X on Ebay and Amazon ... if you can access those sites and they deliver to you.

Yeah, your battery will be optimized for the original battery until you wipe battery stats and recalibrate for the new battery.
What I'm doing is just rotating my batteries. So every other rotation i'll have correct battery stats lol. The spare battery in the atrix charges down to 1% in like 2 hours, but then itll stay at 1% for another 8 hours before finally running out.
I need to figure out a better system

How about quality? Is there any risk of malfunction?
Could you recommend a particular brand?
Thanks
I have found:
- 1800MAH HIGH CAPACITY BH6X BATTERY PACK FOR MOTOROLA ATRIX 4G MB860 ($ 6.5 from UK)
- 2 x 1800mAh Replacement Battery + EU Charger Dock for Motorola Atrix 4G MB860 BH6X ($ 9.5 from HK)
- BATTERIE MOTOROLA ATRIX BH6X 1800mAh ($ 13 from France)
- ORIGINAL MOTOROLA AKKU ACCU BH6X ATRIX 4G DROID X MB810 NEU Batterie ($ 21 from Germany) (I believe It is not original)
They do not have a brand.

Please do not buy the "gold" batteries!!
For sure made in china and with a fake number of mah...
Came across a cheep battery for our s2 today. Its only £2.35.
Not buying one myself but thought id post it for others if they were looking to get one.
http://www.suntekstore.co.uk/goods.php?id=10013869&utm_source=gbuk
They also seem to ship worldwide but i didn't really look in to it.
ps. only posted it as it was first cheap non-ebay place i have seen.
I wouldn't recommend getting these,
I bought 2 similar ones and its more like 300mah !
When it comes to batteries. Cheap is usually not the path you want to take.
The only battery i'd recommend thats cheaper than OEM is the Anker 1900mah. I've been using it and while it has some flaws like a lot slower charging compared to OEM. It holds charge quite well. I'd rate it at maybe 15% better than the 1650mah stock from my usage. It's not a huge difference but for $20 for 2 and a charger which is universal. It's worth it if you even just wanna try it out.
Otherwise, the only other battery i'd recommend is the samsung 2000mah one which is the best of both worlds in terms of capacity and size
^.^ guess not such a good find.
i agree with pewpewbangbang, I have the anker 1900 and its certainly a lot better than the stock 1650 one, and at that price you cant go wrong. I get 2.5 days on moderate use, my wife who also has the 1900 gets a full day but she plays games on it for hours on end!

It's a tighter fit but it doesn't need a new cover.
I had one of these cheap replacements, the original samsung battery is a lot better this
Cheap battery replacements can not ever be better the OEM ones. Unless it's made in a control factory with strict guidelines which samsung employs, you better of searching for the original, I would go CarphoneWareHouse (UK) to get one.
