Atrix battery for 0.01? - Atrix 4G Accessories

I'm looking for batteries for the atrix because I think mines is dying.
Came across this on Amazon:
http://www.amazon.com/Motorola-Droi...NFTM/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1325791682&sr=8-1
ONE PENNY FOR A BATTERY?!?!?!?!? 4.99 for shipping but..
ONE PENNY FOR A BATTERY? wow. i may buy like 3 of them. Or spend a dollar and get 100!

It's actually the BH5X, while our phones use the BH6X
I found the BH6X for $15. still not a bad deal. Bought that and an external battery charger for $20 total!

Well buy 100, with shipping it will be 501.00 with shipping.
They won't combine shipping. Its how I do it on eBay, .1+5.00 or 5.00 w/ free shipping.

Just picked up two of these and a charger on Ebay for under $15. That should extend the range of the Atrix to a couple of days.

I actually bought one of those for 1 cent without realizing it was a BH5X instead of the BH6X. It will fit in the case and charge even though it is a little smaller ( I believe it is 1500 mAh while the BH6X is 1880) It is a Droid battery that will fit and work in an Atrix.
However I am scared to use it. I really think it will jack up my battery optimization if I switch between the 2 batteries. I will probably charge it and keep it for an emergency backup only

I am looking for a safe and durable battery, but until now I have just found:
- Motorola original battery BH6X Atrix Li-Ion 1880mAh (21$)
- Anker 1800mAh Li-ion Battery for Motorola Atrix 4G (21$)
On the Italian Amaz. website.
Are they too much expensive?
Thanks

You can find better prices for the BH6X on Ebay and Amazon ... if you can access those sites and they deliver to you.

Yeah, your battery will be optimized for the original battery until you wipe battery stats and recalibrate for the new battery.
What I'm doing is just rotating my batteries. So every other rotation i'll have correct battery stats lol. The spare battery in the atrix charges down to 1% in like 2 hours, but then itll stay at 1% for another 8 hours before finally running out.
I need to figure out a better system

Yeah the android system doesn't really care, it measures the battery in percentages.
I've got a cheapo 2000mAH that I picked up for my Hero, it lasts a little longer than the OEM battery. I do notice a difference. When my phones battery is low, I can tell what battery is in it without opening it, just because I know how long I've been off the charger.
They're cheap. You can also find a deal for 2 1500 mAH batteries and a wall charger for $10. I went with that..
I'm buying one because they are red lol.. j/k well for $10 more than the China seller, you get "300mAH" more and this guy is in California so shipping should not take close to a month
I was expecting to be able to offer him $10, but he has that set on auto reject so I just went with the 2x 1500 mAh for $10.
I wonder what brand these batteries actually are? If they are just rebranded Mugen's, then according to batteryboss.org they are worse than OEM 1500mAh.
this seems like a good deal http://cgi.ebay.com/1500mAh-Battery...ewItem&pt=PDA_Accessories&hash=item43a048184b

not quite sure what you mean, but ultimately yes, they are all from china. I just thought it was a good deal, but too bad it wasnt shipping from somewhere in the US. I'm not too thrilled to order things from across the world.
I bought the 2x plus charger for $10...They seem to be holding up pretty well, maybe a bit shorter life than the stock one, but if you have three batteries and can rotate through 2 of them while keeping one on the charger, you'll never have to plug your phone in again...I would say BUY BUY BUY, for the price, you can't go wrong, it's worth the standalone charger with a built in usb port.
I am using the 10$ 2x1500ma with the charger... free shipping too. I have only been using one of the Chinese batteries, they are great, they last about, or maybe a little less. I just put the real and the spare one in my wallet... so beast.
I doubt those things are even 1800mAh, they are probably the same 2x1500+Wall Charger $10 deal just a different color/sticker. Its the same exact charger and same exact sticker thats on the 1500mAh ones just it says 1800mAh and the battery color is red.
I purchased the $10 2x1500mAh + Wall Charger bundle about a week ago and have been putting them through their paces ever since, they have been fine for me. About the same as an oem battery, maybe a tiny tiny bit less but nothing really noticeable unless you have OCD like me lol.
I would just spring for the $10 one, search my threads if you need the link. Best of luck.
I know the OP has already purchased the 2x 1500 mah batteries, but I thought I'd add my 2 cents for anyone else thinking about batteries.
I bought the 2x 1500 mah batteries plus charger too. I don't see any difference between them and the OEM battery. I actually do wish they were red so I could use them if I buy the clear battery door that's being discussed in another thread, but not enough to spend twice as much.
We just did a week-long vacation and I bought six batteries for my wife and me to share (coming from the iPhone I went a little crazy). We often switched a battery while out all day, but the only time I needed to use three was when we flew back -- which was a 15 hour ordeal due to a canceled flight. Thank god I had all the battery power I could need without having to resort to $75 external battery packs.
I also bought two of the 1500 mAH batteries, and they seem to work fine. I haven't really noticed much of a difference between the cheap ones and the OEM battery.

[Q] non-oem Battery samsung vibrant

Hello,
i was looking for a extended battery, but since almost all of them are bigger than others im going to just buy an extra from ebay,
But..Are theses batteries as good and reliable as original one or the ones that phone store sell? Have you guys experienced any battery that sell for that low cost? (20 us for 2 1.500mha batteries)
the item number its 220679157358 on EBAY
can someone post the link plz ? im new = /
for $20 you can get a brand new original samsung battery on ebay
or for $8ish get 2 chinese batteries. The chinese batts will last a couple months and generally be around 1000-1200mah vs 1500 for the original samsung
I personally got one genuine battery and for $10 got 2 cheap batteries and a standalone charger
EBay has some 1890mah. Batts. God only knows what they really are. I bought the stand alone charger and 2 1500 non OEMs for $9.98 shipped
So that'll get me through a flight/airport and then some.
Is your phone Loki? Use Odin. You'll be Thor!
i got the charger + 2 chinese batts for $10 too... they work fine. maybe not quite as good as the OEM but not a noticeable difference. they make it though the day on a single charge and i've had them about two months now.
Anyone know if this battery would fit in the vibrant?
It is on obostore dot com website and it's an 1800 mah battery for the galaxy S I9000.
They don't mention any other Galaxy S, but it seems that the original battery is the same for the vibrant and the I9000. This one is not bulky.

Where to buy a reliable OEM 1930 mAH orginal Battery?

I am looking for a replacement/backup battery. Where would i find an original battery for the atrix, or what is the best alternative.
It also must be standard size. Thank you.

Oh, dear god, DO NOT buy those ****ty ebay batteries. If a battery isn't at least $30, it will be complete crap. I recently bought one of these deals on ebay for two batteries and a standalone battery charger for $25 and the batteries don't last more than ONE TO TWO HOURS. I'm okay with that, though, because the only thing I really wanted was the standalone charger and those aren't sold without batteries.
If you need spare, long lasting batteries, buy a Mugen Power. Mugen's are, without a doubt, the best aftermarket battery and will last just as long as your OEM Motorola, if not a little longer. Don't skimp on battery costs because you get what you pay for and there's a reason why those no-name ebay batteries are cheaper than dirt. (Hint: it's because they're worthless.)
This is what you want: Mugen Power 1900mAh Atrix battery
I always buy the standalone chargers, though, so that way I never end up charging my phone via USB cable; instead I just swap batteries.
Just contact Motorola support, they should send you one free because your phone is still under warranty.

Why should they send anyone a free spare battery? Ugh people here just love taking advantage of warranties for fraudulent reasons.
Anyway, screw post #2, it totally ignores the OP's request. You can get yourself a BH6X from Amazon http://www.amazon.com/Motorola-Droi...ef=sr_1_1?rps=1&ie=UTF8&qid=1309970791&sr=8-1
Hopefully that links to the right bit, sold through and shipped through Amazon so you know you can trust it. Plus that way free shipping if you have Prime. I just got mine last week, it's definitely legit.

I actually have, sitting on my desk right now, one of these batteries. It's a legitimate, OEM BH6X, just like the battery that comes with the Atrix. For the Droid X, it's an extended battery, needing a new battery cover. Blame whoever wrote the listing for putting the wrong info there.
Says right on the battery 1880 mAh minimum, 1930 mAh typical.
I actually haven't been able to track down an OEM standalone battery charger though, so I'm using an Amzer one which is very basic and very cheap feeling but gets the job done.

Anker 1900mAh battery?

Hey guys browseing Amazon or GS2 accessories and I came across the Anker 1900mAh battery.
Now ive had the Anker 1900 on the Sensation and its legit a beast of a battery with extra juice, anyone used this for the GS2?
why not just wait a few weeks and buy the proper 2000mah battery??
iam sure samsung would have made a battery this size if possible rather then build extra back covers due to the 2000mah battery they have designed
basically i dont think anker could squeeze another 300mah into the battery at no extra size , its probably not what it says it is and i would go the official route , i have found all these cheap batterys to be useless in my times of owning mobile phones
to sum it up just buy the offical 2000mah battery from samsung or the bigger one from mugen if you want better battery life
look for anker 2300maH on ebay for $12-14 . buy it and make a review
tempted!
im very tempted. amazon uk has an offer for 2 and dockcharger and travel charger for £13. Even if its 80% of original battery i would be happy. But seems like a new release..not 1 review...
I would get the official samsung one but i have the perfect a leather, carbon fibre cases. would it fit in there? i don;t know...will i find an equivalent case that fits it...i don't no. If only if they had a demo version with new battery in a highstreet store i could try putting my case on,
ohh this make has had some reviews from same phone and different phones
im not advertising lol, just discussing reviews

Even though it is well under the stated rating there is nothing that touches it for value. USD $10 for a 2413 mAh battery is a fantastic deal.

yes, i do but its my opinion
My experience will be subjective, but I've been using 1900mah Anker batteries for the last 2 weeks. They are OK. With original battery I get 12-13 hours when everything ON! With Anker approximately 16-17 hours.

[Q] Acesoft 1970mAh and China OEM batteries?

Has anyone tried out the T989 replacement batteries from Acesoft or 1950 mAh China OEMs on eBay? I try to avoid China vendors and wait for US seller so I can dispute the sale if their mAh claims are way off.
From the US there seems to be several vendors selling Acesoft 1970 mAh batteries. No individual batteries, just bundles so far
1 Battery and charger ~$27
2 Batteries + charger ~$40
http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw...battery&_osacat=0&_trksid=p3286.c0.m270.l1313
You can also get them on Amazon for about the same price
Now in this post it was hinted that the Infuse batteries would fit in the T989. If this is the case, you can get 2 batteries for $30 from here.
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B005FD3LM6/electronicblogall-20
The China OEM 1950mAh batteries are $3.70 a pop. Might be better to get 6 of these vs 1 Acesoft one.
http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw...acesoft&_osacat=0&_trksid=p3286.c0.m270.l1313
Before writing this post, I was tending to get the Acesoft batteries, but given how cheap the China OEMs are I might just get 4 of those and wait for the Acesoft ones to get cheaper.
If anyone has experience with either batteries please post here. I'd also like to hear from anyone who is using an Infuse battery.
just so you know, those batteries does not include NFC they are just plain batteries
and even though they say 1970 mAh, i don't think they are really that high, they will most likely be around the 1650 mAh area in actual use.
buyers beware

Not really worried about NFC. Haven't used it yet. I'm looking for extra batteries for longer trips (e.g. flight to Asia), where I'm using the phone as a video or audio player.
I wouldn't mind a battery for $3.70 with 89% of the capacity of an original one. If anyone has bought either battery I'd like to hear about your experiences.
in that case it's all good, go for it
i use those china made after market quite often on all my devices, and they do work good, just don't expect the advertised capacity
i'll use the included wall charger to charge them just in case
