I cant.
There is no "my files" app on the galaxy nexus like there is on the galaxy s series.
I am having to use a third party app to be able to see my files on my sd card and when i long press the file to share it there is only an option to send via gmail.
Need a solution to this because its sending me crazy.

I'm using es file explorer and it has the option to share via Bluetooth. You might want to try this specific app, I'm not sure which one your using

it works in root explorer too.
Maybe its just astro!
I just tried sending a file from my gnex to my buddies sgs2 over bluetooth using root explorer and astro. Both worked perfectly fine. In astro I can do it two ways... touch the file to open it and it displays the universal 'share' icon... touch that and bluetooth is a share option. The other way is just to long press any file and select 'send' from the menu... in which bluetooth is a send option. So yeah... it worked fine for me. My bluetooth was originally off and when I selected to send via bluetooth it just prompted me to turn it on first

No push?
Is it just me, or does this app not support push/IMAP Idle? Even with Gmail set up using IMAP, the emails don't come until refreshed or it checks for new mail, and there is no option for "as items arrive."
What's the deal with that? Very disappointing, unless I'm missing something.

I copied and pasted to system/apps but won't install. Am I doing something wrong?
edit: fixed with reboot
Do you guys happen to know if this version still has the same issues as the version that's been floating around since the galaxy tab came out?
I've flashed it before, worked great, or so I thought, until without warning I stopped receiving e-mail pushes. Apparently its an issue specific to exchange (which I'm using) with specific e-mails that will lock it up and prevent any new e-mails from being pushed. If you delete said problematic e-mails, it will start syncing again, but I can't take that chance with work.
If any of you guys happen to use exchange with this new galaxy tab e-mail app and have reliable success with it I'd love to hear about it. Otherwise it's plain old regular email app for me
Anyone figured out how to get this working? Mine works perfect on my Evo w deck 1.2.1 rom and my wife has an epic 4g. I looked for the vtokapp that a friend uses on his Droid 3 but it doesn't show up in epic 4g market. Any help would be appreciated

Search the market for Root Talk Installer, it contains the fix to get it working.
root 1.3 talk installer did not work for me. First it failed to backup, I went on anyway since i could just odin again and then after it downloaded it failed to copy to system. I tested root with sdx stock app remover and it worked fine.
I flashed this in clockwork from an attachment in this thread and it seems to be working, i still haven't made a video call yet though

This is from my Evo. You will know if its working for you because it will have a camcorder icon beside all u can video chat w. Would you mind looking at your g.talk to confirm u have a camcorder?

Thats the problem none of my friends have video enabled so i can't just tell right away if it is working.
the interface that i have looks like that though and that is different than the basic one the stock rom came with.
If I tap my name i have the option to 'allow video and voice chats'

Thats strange All I did was this
Rename stock to talk.bak
try root talk 1.3 installer and fail
boot into clockwork and flash zip
reboot and talk was there and working.
one strange thing that happened in the middle after i had gotten rid of the old talk.apk i was still receiving messages and they showed up in my notification bar however clicking on them did nothing since i had no talk app to open.
edit: side note, it is dumb that talk doesn't synchronize across phone and gmail at same time like google voice does. ex: I just sent a message from my phone and it didn't show up in the conversation on gmail desktop.
I uninstalled talk (keeping the titanium backup) and then flashed it in clockwork. Nothing appeared after booting. I then restored the back up, browsed on the other thread for a while and decided to try another apk. Uninstalled talk again, flashed the second version, and still nothing. O well. I don't really need it and am fine with waiting.
Also tried flashing the latest zip from the Gtalk video thread. No joy. App works until you try to initiate a video call. Force closes.
EG22, rooted, installed busybox.

Has anyone got this to work on a stock rooted epic, all programs I've either don't install or force close when you try to do the video call.

This problem just started about 5 days ago. I am able to browse and download stuff from the market on my phone with no problem. The issue is that I can no longer download from any PC when I select an item. I get the message that the item will be downloaded shortly but nothing ever transfers.
Has anyone else had this problem and is there a solution?

Thanks, I thought I had checked that before. But for some reason I have two listings for my phone in my market settings, both the same. I renamed both of them and then tried each one. One works and the other doesnt. Now I just need to figure out how to get rid of one of them. Or maybe I will just leave well enough alone.
I cannot send any picture or audio mail through the on-board messaging app on this Rom.I researched all the posts regarding this issue, and haven't found a solution. I see that others have this problem as well. Is there a fix? I would rather use the messaging app that comes with the Rom instead of having to resort to Go Sms.Thanks for any help.

Well, I guess Go Sms it is. Out of all the Roms I've been using, only Blu Kuban and this Rom have issues with MMS. The Goodness had it down pat, there weren't any issues with their messaging apps. Maybe someone from their team can provide some assistance for the Devs for these other 2 roms. Everything else is great!

Root explorer or es explorer (play store). Enable root mode and navigate to that directory and delete the file. You will lose all your messages so back them up first. You can back them up with this

do you delete the: com.android.providers.telephony/databases/telephony.db? or just the telephony.db?
and what exactly will that allow us to do? send MMS?
it clears out the messaging database and should fix mms. it has for a number of ppl in the cm thread. just the db file.

Evidently there isn't a fix, so I guess I'll just stick to go. This is a very good Rom otherwise. Did Go start working again after you re-booted?

Try this. The APN backup and restore method works about 80% of the time film me. But I think it is more about coverage and signal where I usually am. I have TiB premium but you can copy / paste app in system/app with a root explorer

After I move the app to the system/app folder and reboot the app no longer shows up in the app drawer. In settings under downloaded apps section it's grayed out. Navigating to it using ES File Explorer trying to click on it and gives a "parsing error" message. I don't know what to do.

I'm still having a problem using 3.3. I moved the file. Fixed permissions, and I still can't see the app. When I try and open it regularly it said something along the lines of 4.1.x didn't support deleting/restoring apns.

Hello XDA - I have a question that probably has a simple answer, but for the life of me, I can't find the solution anywhere...
I am on GalaxyMod RLS16 and I have the phone set up perfectly. The problem I am having is that my phone reads in blue tooth and when I am connected to my computer as a "Galaxy Nexus". I did install Google Wallet and changed the build.props according to the instructions in the Google Wallet fix thread found elsewhere in this forum.
I did change the build.props back according to the instructions, but my phone thinks it is a Galaxy Nexus. I can't think of anything else to check. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance.
P.S. If it makes a difference, I am using the LL1 Kernel from the Intergalactic ROM since it restores the drivers changed from KT747 (also used) and I also used the Faux Kernel.
build.prop changes only take effect after a device reboot.
When you changed your build.prop back did you reboot your phone again?

that's because your computer saved the name prior the rename (the computer doesn't care what name your device is or was)
if that's the case... just delete the current bluetooth settings for your phone on the computer
and reconnect it, let your computer re-detect your phone and it should show whatever name you renamed
OR (im not sure if this will work, haven't look or tried, but windows computer should have this option)
right click on your bluetooth setting for your device(should say Galaxy Nexus) and rename it
