Is there a way to stop this process from autostarting, if i don't force close it, it wont stop, and it restarts everytime i reboot, i want to stop it from running to save memory and battery.
Also what is this process for anyways, im using a offline xperia play by the way, just as a gaming device.

My xperia play keeps crashing unexpectedly. It locks ups showing what I was looking at for about five seconds then reboots itself. It usually happens when I'm touching the screen whether its typing or scrolling the screen it does seem to matter. I've tried using factory restore but with no other apps than the stock ones it still will crash. The phone crashes about six times a day average. What could be causing this?

No, my bootloader is locked and I am also not rooted.
We're currently rolling out a new software 4.0.2.A.0.62 which will improve the memory management to avoid reboots. Check with PC Companion if you can get it. It not, wait for it. I believe this is what you need. A lot of users have already got it and we're rolling it out for more kits every day. I'm however not able to tell when certain markets or kits will get it.

Hi, is there a way to stop the phone from closing an app that is running ? Let me explain, i use my phone to film off road expeditions, but after a certain time the camera app closes, i then have to restart it, then it closes again and so on. Is there a way to keep it from closing down ?

There's really nothing you can do about that since Android manages the memory and kills off apps based on memory free, app priority, and LFU (least frequently used order). (the only way to make an app not get killed sooner than regular apps is to have it host a service.)
It only takes a moment to start the camera, so what's the deal? If you need the camera to be available in a microsecond then you want a dedicated camera instead
So it's been 3 months since I bought this LG G3 D856. After a week of use, google play store and other apps (mostly associated with Google) werent giving notifications and werent loading. So I saw that if I factory reset my phone, it would be fixed. So i did it, and it did get fixed. But it didnt take long until it all started again. But i was living up to it. I thought LG might roll out the Android M update which would fix it all. But after seeing the news about it being delayed, im kinda pissed off. Now my games apps wont even load. They show the error of stopped working. So if anyone could help me out, it would be a hugeeee support. :/
Try to find an updated Google play services. Also you can hold the Power+Volume down rocker to get to your stock recovery and while your cache and dalvik.
I already got the latest play service. And the games app not responding issue, it got fixed after a restart. But the google play store thing is really bugging me. :/

It could be very well bug in Google Play Services, since it silently updates itself in background, so lot of time they suddenly start misbehaving eating up lot of battery and crashing here & there. Cross check your version with apkmirror

Hi. Has anyone faced issue with fingerprint scanner? Sometimes my 5z is unable to scan my finger not even able to reccognise that some finger is placed on scanner.. I need to manually unlock with pattern. Dont know why this is happening. Aslo, most of the times if I want to install new apps from play store, it stucks at downloading progress bar. Wont even work after force stopping the play store app. Should restart the device inorder for the app to get downloaded. These are the 2 main issues I am facing in my zenfone 5Z. Any solutions for my issues??

Yeah it happens sometimes. Its just an android security feature. But i dont know what's triggering it on our phone. It usually happens when you scan the wrong finger or type the wrong password many times.

Same here bro. Yesterday I was so furious that I thought of breaking my phone. faced problem with playstore. I have restarted my phone 5 times, but still cant download a single app. force stopped Play store -> disabled and enabled but of no use. Then I followed the below steps and after around 30 minutes of tries apps started to download.
Steps:
1. Clear the data of playstore and do force stop-->Disable and enable the app and check whether apps are downloading
2. If above step didnt work clear data in Google services framework -- > Restart the device
3. Now check the apps should get downloaded
For me even 2nd step didnt work. I keep on clicking install button of an app and cancelled the download. Repeated this for 10 times and apps started to download automatically. Dont know why only Asus phones are getting such issues. Buying this phone is my bad.
Phone hardware is good..but issue with Asus rom..if we can get some good custom roms..then we can live with this device...else trade it for another one..

I had something that sounds like this only yesterday.
Mxplayer and my keyboard app would open and then close within a second. The whole UI had a periodic flicker to it as well. I checked running services and then battery management. Both apps mentioned had high power consumption so l put them to sleep and the UI was better for 1 minute.
For the first time in years I've switched from 2 of my favourite apps and the problem is gone. I'm not happy that I've had to do this on a new phone on official software.
This was out of the blue, the only thing I can think of is a Google services update screwed something up. Nothing else on the phone changed but for a services or play store update.
EDIT: following @toothfairy's link I updated system webview and tried a newer version of touchpal (I know, banned from play store. firewall will eventually cut them off) and all seems good there again.
I'm actually liking VLC for the moment so mxplayer can wait for another test.
