EI22 Touchscreen Problems & Delayed Lock Screen

Hi guys, I have been having some touchscreen problems after upgrading to EI22. What happens is the touchscreen works, and than suddenly when I try to tap on something, the area I tapped on doesn't respond unless I reapeatedly tap it to get it working. What's weird is different parts of the screen continue to work. Its not my digitizer because when I flashed Froyo via Odin the problems dissapeared. I flashed GB using the rooted EI22 rom on xda. Help would be appreciated. Also the lock screen has a delay opening which I noticed on my Fascinate too. This problem occurs on GB and stops when I remove the sd card. I've heard others complain about this problem.
Edit: I have this problem on any EI22 rom, Thunderhawk, Marcusant, etc. I am on Marcusant now though. I flashed with ACS 5.0 cwm after odining EI22. I formatted and wiped dalvik prior. I am using a vcast verizon micro usb cable if that makes any diff. Btw I'm using the kernel that comes with Marcusant. I've tried other kernels.-Dan

Do you see this on stock GB too? I only ask because most of you statement sounds wake locky/setCpuie/oc/uv-esque to me.
If so you would not see it manifest on stock. May be worth rokken it for a day. Makes you have c,razy appreication for the devs and sets you up to take it in if need be too.
Just my 2 c,ents.

[Q] Legendary Rom 2.2 Black Screen

I am currently running Legendary Rom 2.2 on my Samsung Epic 4G. The only problem I'm having is that the screen will sometimes not turn back on. My keyboard still lights up and occasionally I will hear the unlock sound. Sometimes it takes a minute to turn back on, and sometimes I just have to remove the battery and reboot my Phone. Does anybody know why the screen would do this or have any idea on how this can be fixed?
Try flashing a different kernel.

I tried disabling the 100mhz and 900mhz settings but it was still useless. What version of Samurai could I flash to fix this?

Gooch, use shadowkernel. once u install it, update prl, profile and reboot. Before u update..wipe cache and dalvik cache. Clear out the garbage.

@Biggoron
Thank you so much! It looks like the new samurai kernel works awesome. I haven't had any screen problems so far and the feel of everything is very nice.
How does the shadow kernel compare to samurai?

Samurai FTW

They are very similiar as both developers work together on the core. Shadowkernel has voodoo color defaults that work awesome with my phone so no need to run the voodoo control app and waste resources on my phone.

i yet still have to try that, the voodoo color part. i didn't download that in the version i installed.

If you have 1.04 voodoo color is already in. If you didn't notice then the defaults are good for you too.

[Q] Calk. ICS|FC07 Vibrate on notification/ring

I have been using this rom and for some reason, no matter what I do, I cannot get the vibrate to work when I get a text/email/call.
Does anyone have this problem??
I been having the same issue on every ics build I've been on so far. I had it on calks and venoms.
Sent from my SPH-D710 using XDA
Its a noted ICS bug. Its not the ROM's fault. I have the same issue with mine on the BLEND ICS ROM.

Cm7 dropped keys and swype issues.

So I'm running cm7 with nyan kernel and when I type on my keyboard it sometimes misses a character. Is this kernel related would flashing another kernel fix it? I remember this was a problem back on froyo and there was the flashable zips to fix it but I haven't seen anything like that in a while.
Also, I restored a backup of my swype keyboard (the blue one from most of the tw themes) and it works perfectly, but everytime I reboot I get all these FC's on it and it doesn't go away until I restore "app only" in tb. Its not that big of a problem but its annoying. Is there any way to get rid of that? I believe it also is a cm7 related issue since it didn't happen to me on tw or cm9.

I've had a similar problem with CM9 Nightly on Nyan ICS. Once I unrooted back to stock using ODIN and rooted again (clean install) with the same ROM, with a different kernel this time, my keyboard seemed to run smooth.
My keyboards problem was it would disappear outta the blue.. I had to exit out of my messaging app completely, sometimes even thatt wouldn't do it.
Hope that helps somehow!

No "Fully charged" led on Jelly Bean update?

Anyone notice led not indicating a full charge on stock non-rooted Epic Touch with JB GB27 samsung update?
My Kob rooted Td modded Epic gives me a "I'm fully charged" led when at 100%, Wifey's Epic, stock GB27 gets to 100% no led???
Under settings / display / led indicator , no setting for full charge indicator. (Stock or leaked GB27 build)
Led does work for all other features,
And worked previously on Gb.
Pp.
Anyone!

I also have noticed this. Was wondering the same thing myself... and there's nothing on Google about it so it seems like we're the first to notice...

Yes, I searched around and haven't found anything. It could be an isolated issue that only we are experiencing.

Mine works fine. Red for charging and blue when 100%. I used the simple upgrade tool and hard reset after. Don't know if that has anything to do with it working correctly.

Maybe the hard reset?
Will try but plan to root wife's phone and run Kob's gb27 anyway to be able to run the adhost script to block ads.
My epic running kob's rom has all the led functions.

Idk but I do know it was acting a little freaky before the hard reset. Like my ringtone would ring with the whistle sound even though it wasn't selected as the notification ringtone. After the hard reset it was normal again.
