[Q] Flashing DInc2 to Verizon Prepaid - Verizon Droid Incredible 2

Greetings to everyone!
Trying to achieve as the title states, just not sure about the order of doing things.
Here is what I have:
1. DInc2 currently active on PagePlus.
2. Brand new Verizon Prepaid LG Revere phone.
3. $50 Verizon prepaid refill card.
4. All the necessary CDMA software.
And what I need:
1. Porting my PagePlus number to Verizon Prepaid.
2. Using my DInc2 on Verizon Prepaid $50 unlimited plan.
Now, I am getting a little confused on how to proceed, e.g.:
1. Call Verizon and request the number transfer from PagePlus.
2. Wait until the port is successful.
3. Flash DInc2 to Verizon Prepaid.
4. Activate DInc2 by OTA *22890
Or any other order? Or am I missing any steps?
Any comments/suggestions are highly appreciated!

Use Verizon XV6600 on Sprint

Is it possible for me to unlock or do an ESN change or something on my Verizon XV6600 so I can use it on Sprint? I have a good discount from Sprint and would like to keep my same phone.

[Q] I have Rooted Evo with Boostmobile and want to duplicate this on another phone

My present rooted Evo works perfectly with unlimited internet, unlimited tethering and unlimited messaging on the BOOSTMOBILE.com network for $35 a month. I want to duplicate the settings and basically duplicate this phone to another brand-new HTC EVO phone with its own boost mobile telephone number and its own account. Can anyone explain to me in a step by step process how to do this? My only experience is in rooting the inspire on At& T network I am not familiar with the CDMA side of the EVO. I know about this link: http://mobileontop.com/convert-sprint-cdma-to-boost-mobile-cdma/
as well as this link here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=689303 and I disagree with the forum as to the legality of my own legal evo phone ( Because cloning is only illegal if you do clone with intent to defraud another person and it is not your phone or you obtained esn illegally) that i purchased new and want to have same settings and same rom as my other EVO phone.
My questions: 1) must I root my new evo first?
If answer is yes--Then
2) Can i use use my Rom Manager to make a backup of my current Rom from OLD EVO and RESTORE it on NEW EVO without any problems via my micro SD card?
3) Will my phone be cloned if I do this? If so, I know i will have problems --therefore what do i do if Boostmobile reads my newly purchased phone wronfully--as a cloned phone and terminates my service.
4) Is there any software package that would help me to program my old EVO's CDMA data settings to Boostmobile so i can do about 10-15 phones for my employees each with their own legally obtained and newly purchased phones and own boostmobile number provided by boostmobile.
Any help would be appreciated as I am trying to provide these phones as an employee benefit for their hard work.

Get rid of Sprint

Hi guys, need some help.
If I switch carrier then phone automatically get bad Sprint ESN, right? If so, thats ok, because I dont want to use Sprint.
I've got Sprint L710 but I never used CDMA before, so little bit confused with how to get rid of that Sprint and make it work with Boost even w/o 4g.. perhaps 2g or 3g if possible. Or Virgin, doesn't really matter, the most important is prepaid plan w/o contract.
I'll make a root and even if then I install custom ROM then still will be using Sprint? Or after flashing custom ROM I can go to Boost and ask them to flash their codes?
Nobody else will help me, I hope for your understanding.
As far as I know. You won't get bad esn as long as you don't have any pending balances pending.
And if you pay the early termination fee.
But I'm not sure. As far as the s3 on another net work then it would have to be flashed with whatever company your gonna use it with.
But your probably better off just selling it on craugslist or eBay and buying an unlocked international version.

When I switched from ATT contract to TMobile prepaid I just unlocked phone, pulled out ATT sim card and go forward with TMobile. I didnt make any notifications to ATT, TMobile just transferred my number in few secs.
I mean how could I make same on CDMA? Could by example Cricket take my phone to their network? Is it possible to delete all related to Sprint from my phone, make it clean as from factory? And then come to Cricket or another CDMA carrier? In that case if I terminate Sprint contract without any notification I think ESN would be bad.

Well if your gonna flash the phone to another carrier like cricket. Then bad esn or clean esn don't matter. Just go into a cricket store and tell them you need to flash your phone and they'll put other on their network.

And am I be able to get at least their Cricket's 3G?
Or for that I need to go through special procedure with donors?

What? lol
they should have a cricket store where they flash phones. Idk how the procedure is done, or how it affects the phones. But there might be something screwy with MMS, but you can always ask before you do it. and there might be a fix for that sort of stuff here at XDA
Cricket said that they flash only their phones and I cant keep my existing.
BTW finally we've switched it to Verizon prepaid

weird, down here where I'm at, they flash any phone really.
well if your S3 is just a brick there you can always sell it.
If the price is low enough i can buy it from you, or also ebay
They said that in New York area they flash only Cricket phones.
But even good, cause because of I that I got Verizon.

[Q] Can I unlock Samsung GS3 (AT&T) without activating?

Hey guys,
I recently won a Samsung GS3 (AT&T) in a giveaway. I currently have a LG Optimus V on Virgin Mobile, and would prefer to use the GS3 on a T-Mobile prepaid plan. Can I unlock the phone without first activating it on AT&T (i.e. get to the dial pad)? Or do I need to get an AT&T plan? If so, can I get a prepaid plan since the phone's ARV was $200 (i.e. price of the phone on a subsidized plan)? What's the best way to unlock the phone (i.e. use a cell unlock website or can I get an AT&T prepaid plan for like a month and ask for an unlock code)? What's the best data rate that the AT&T GS3 can get on T-Mobile since I know some bands are different between the carriers (i.e. EDGE, 3G, HSPA+, or T-Mobile's future 4G LTE-Advanced)? Do I need to flash the modem to get full data speeds if they are not directly compatible?
Thanks in advance!
The best way to unlock it is buying a code... I bought mine for like 5 bucks on ebay...
All I did was get the code, put a simple card in (not at&t) and it asked for the unlock code and you put it in.... And it's unlocked

So I can just swap out the SIM right from the get go (I already have a T-Mobile SIM), and when I power it up for the first time, it'll go straight to the unlock prompt without asking to be activated (i.e. like how the iPhone asks to be plugged into iTunes to be activated when you first power it up)?

[Q] troubleshooting activating Epic 4G on MetroPCS

So, I ordered some Epics on Amazon after I burnt the motherboard connections to the Digitizer on my Huawei Activa 4G (they were $39 a piece, great deals for phones that a crapton better then the Activa's). I followed this guide down to the "T", but I can't get the Epic to connect to MetroPCS. It keeps trying to connect to Verizon. I tried the 2xxx and 3xxx MetroPCS PRL's with no luck. Is there anything I missed, or is there anyone that can help with troubleshooting? I would like to surprise my fiancee with this phone (the other one I bought) as a Christmas present, and since we are grandfathered into the unlimited data plan on Metro, I would seriously like to stay with them.
Thanks!
First thins is first, you need to get the esn added to metropcs.
If you cant add the esn in the inventory it will not work.

Did you do this?
Also keep in mind that MetroPCS is migrating or being decommissioned to T-Mobiles GSM network.
Apparently adding a new serial number to MetroPCS will kick me off the unlimited data plan, which is stupid. And, each time I try to add the ESN to MetroPCS, they give me a different excuse as to why it can't be added (device not supported, esn not valid, etc). It's starting to sound easier to set up this phone (and keep my data) myself. I'm going to try and see if I keep climbing the ladder of MetroPCS supervisors and hopefully get someone that'll be happy to keep me in my promotional plan AND set up my new phones. Else, I'm not sure what other ways to go about this. I don't think I should lose my data because my POS phone died, and I sure as hell don't want to pay $60/mo per phone when I already pay $135 for 3.

This type of response tells me that the reason it won't activate is because they will not allow a Sprint phone on their network. Period.
If you can activate T-Mobile phones under your unlimited plan then personally I would try to sell these phones (see Ting info below) for near what you paid and get a T-Mobile compatible S II or better on your plan. CM 10.1 works well on the Epic 4G but occasionally it can be a little pokey sometimes and memory is tight. Also you still need to boot into Samsung Gingerbread FC09 to activate, etc., see link below. It may be a selling point to flash these phones to CM 10.1 (definitely enable the ability to boot into FC09 as mentioned below).
Otherwise if you insist on using these this is probably your only option:
If you're lucky find a cheap Samsung Galaxy S (same as Epic 4G) that will run on Metro PCS and either use it, or if its broken, try to migrate its ESN/MSEID to the Sprint Epic 4G. I don't know how this is done, but I have read this is the way you can get competing carrier phones onto competing networks. This should allow you to activate the phone. How well it will work considering MetroPCS is ditching CDMA is just a guess.
I was going to suggest some options involving a MetroPCS hotspot, but then I thought that might not qualify under your unlimited plan?
Regarding selling them:
If you know anyone who has decent Sprint coverage and barely uses data, but still wants to use a smartphone over WiFi then convince them to buy your phone and sign-up with Ting (http://www.ting.com). Give them $25 credit with my link: https://z25ms41o9h2.ting.com/
Dual-boot from CM 10.1 into Samsung Gingerbread FC09 for PRL, Profile, Activation, Sensor Calibration:

Good luck!
