Housing where you live or phone housing?
If it's phone housing then you've done something wrong mate.

Any idea what to do? I dont know where the wifi antenna is.
I have no idea mate. A friend had a similar issue, he ended up just taking it to a repair centre, but he had actually caused damage.

Did you find this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=16143004#post16143004
ans specifically post 34, it contains a link to download full (official) disassembly guide and parts list.
I replaced my middle frame awhile ago cuz it was damaged and remember there was a sticky piece on it called something like ANT/GPS flex, might just be for GPS but could easily also be an antenna/amplifier for more wireless signals.
Usually the wifi chip itself is on the motherboard, but i didn't have to disassemble that far for the middle frame.
You could open up your device and see if you have replaced that 'flex thingy' correctly.
Hope it works out for you!

[GPS] Antenna replace

OK, I've replaced the micro-usb socket last month, and I saw a weird part of the device, that was look like an antenna.
it's weird plastic which covered by flexible PCB with some traces and net without parts.
by mistake for finding an external antenna for our Galaxy I found out this link on ebay
http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-GPS-Sig...320146?pt=PDA_Accessories&hash=item43b3adcad2
this is the same part I found in my galaxy, just in my galaxy it was white (I9000T January 2011), I looked in alternate device and it was black and less unstable (moving).
maybe this can help us with our GPS receiving?
I've ruined my GPS part when I tried to close the back cover of the device with power, but the traces was untouched, and the GPS working regular (bad but you know).
how it is mounted??
It's just staying there touching the traces

Sorry to bump an old, old thread but I was searching for help with poor GPS and I now know that the thing the OP is talking about is actually the GSM antenna which is located in the bottom of the housing - near the mic.
If you want to replace the GPS antenna, well, its not much more than a sticker and you should just buy a replacement middle chassis because it will already have one (along with wifi/bt antenna)
Weird thing is that you'll find lots of people selling that item as a GPS antenna - it definitely isn't though.

You say the antenna is peeling off the back? It should still be connected to the motherboard through the middle housing, if its not the you would indeed lose signal.
ok

Wifi and bluetooth stopped working after rain..

Hello,
my S4 mini took a lot of rain under an incredible thunderstorm where i live (Italy).
i dryed it with a ventilator but after 3 days the bluetooth and the wifi stopped working..
also since today the radio stopped working..
i opened it and i found the left upper corner with a lot oxide..but i found oxide also in other parts of the mobile (the mobile was used for an year by one of my friends).
I ask you if this damage could be fix..i thought about a spray for oxide (used also with a toothbrush), or trying to change directly the wifi and bluetooth antennas, changing directly the middle frame of the device..
I am not an expert so i ask you help, please
Thanks in advance.

Severe water damage... Rip
Sorry man I don't think it can be fixed
Its already damaged I would disassembly and clean everything with a contact cleaner and try
If u have warranty u can claim it.
If not you may have to pay for repairs.
But i fear that your device is seriously damaged. Do not attempt to repair it urself. If anything goes wrong it will affect other working parts.
thanks to both mates
For exple in my country the problem is that water damage is not covered by warranty, yours could be different

any chance to find schematics of the pcb?

Hi guys, i have an issue...my phone dropped in water...everything is working fine (i swapped components with another phone) but not the charging part...battery is good...
disassembled the phone, in the pcb under the metallic plate there is a burned component...i have a friend that can replace it but i need the schematics of the motherboard to choose the right component (voltage, power ...)...i can't find online a schematic of the motherboard, can you guys help me ?
the problem is that phone won't charge, it gets power (with tester i can see it) but phone olny turns on for a second and then shutdown...i think the component is a power regulator or something like that
ps. sorry for bad english
Since you dropped it into water it's big chance that much more parts are screewed. I suggest you to disassemble phone and look to motherboard an electric parts are they rusty, rust will be white color if there is a lot of that than you shouldn't fix that part because a lot of stuff is broken or will break soon. You can try placing phone in supersonic bathtub but that won't help for long time in most cases. If your friend can replace part than he should know how to find that part if he have knoweledge in that area.
don't worry, the other parts work good...i swapped all parts (lcd, speaker, touch and more) with another motherboard and everything working fine...after i dropped in the water i cleaned the phone without turning on from everything...the only damaged part is that chip (burned) under the metallic plate...the rest is clean as new and working...if i can identify that chip (o what the hell is it) a friend of mine can replace it
Well, I doubt you will find scheme anywhere online. What you can do is to post picture of that part which is broken/burned and post picture to some forum for electronics maybe someone will recognize it.
Hey, is this (https://goo.gl/qMGcmV) what you're looking for?
i don't have the phone right now, i asked my friend for a picture but still no answer
thank you but no...i'm looking for the schematics of the motherboard...i'm putting a picture of the damaged component
