Im including 2 .zips, one will enable the soft keys, the other will restore to default. Nothing special, I myself dont like the idea of the soft keys, but some of you may want to play around with it. If there are any issues please inform me, thanks and enjoy.
Enable Soft Keys
Disable Soft Keys
Sorry I changed my theme before I took a screen shot. But this will keep the stock look, sorry again for the confusion if any caused by this pic.

The multi-tasking button? I think you mean the soft menu button, it already brings up open tasks.

Is there anyway to port this type of lockscreen to the Epic?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=919121
I know that I can use WidgetLocker, and I've already bought it but I don't really like it. It seems to lag, like when i hit thte power button from standby, I see the original ASOP screen first and a second later the widgetlocker rotary pops up.
Anyone have any ideas as to how to address this?

that would be nice the one with the four option is hot
you can get this on Cm6 but right not no devs are willing to do all this work then have to redo it when an official 2.2 is out

If you are rooted you can use the 5 second rule bypass on the widgetlocker advance options.
If you are not rooted then use the homehelper option in the widgetlocker options.
I use no lock with widget locker. It disables the stock lock but does cause a half second lag for the screen to turn on, which doesn't bug me as much. The lag could be caused by my widgets though, not sure
So does anyone know if someone has ported this to work with EB13 or any of the custom roms? I've used to on he CM7 Alpha build, and I was wonderinf if someone took the time to port it. I'd do it myself, but at this point I have little to no knowlegde with any of the languages used to program this stuff.
I'm not sure if this is allowed, but bump haha.

Hi, please help me guys...
i installed Geeky Script yesterday and my phone was ok... about some minutes ago, i installed the Adenaline Engine and noticed some slows on games (before install, i go for the system/init.d folder and delete the files inside as the tutorial says) so i unistalled with the file from the topic.. and now, my screen is kinda off! It shows a little ball on the middle, i need to 'control' her to access something, like: i get the ball and carry to the unlock button, then i slide my finger anywhere the screen and unlock..
so, my touch screen is working, but i need to control a little ball to do it.. is it normal? how do i fix this? Please guys.. thanks a lot.
I got a screen of the 'little ball':

Never happened to my phone. Question though, y use geeky engine? IMHO beta 3 running stock(without any tweak) running very smooth. Never face any lag yet even all the social app installed. You know this of app sucks the ram of the phone. But then again I'm only expressing my opinion. Sory my bad language.

Unless you know exactly what an 'engine' does and/or the 'engine' is expressly designed and tested for the W, I suggest you stay away from them like a plague.

Hello guys,
Anyone know how to get enable the top bar of actions on the JB keyboard that we had on the ICS keyboard.
It's tough to describe, but I mean the top bar that had the explanation mark, question mark, comma, etc...
See pic
Left is ICS with extra buttons on top of keyboard, and right is JB without.

Try it on your CM10, and report back please?

cm10
it also didnt work for me. i recently changed rom. in cm10, keyboard suggestion bar doesnt show, i think if you want a working suggestion/correction bar, then change rom. i am currently on xperia ice v3.1 stable version. keyboard correction/suggestion bar works. ^_^ i think since jellybean port isn't that stable like ics port, there might be some bugs to fix like that one. in the end, you have no choice but to change rom.

It is working. See the screenshot. Both the stock android or the AOSP android keyboard working.
You have to type first before the suggestions show up. Try to turn on the show suggestions and type a few words and it will show it.

Hi there
How do I disable the soft on screen keys?
They get in the way and take up space when gaming or sometimes watching films I want to be able to swipe down when I dont need them or for them to disappear automatically.
Im on stock, unrooted.
Thanks
Flash a rom like cm that includes support for extended desktop. That's exactly what you're looking for
Yeah Just use Cm.
Just hold the power button and press disable keys.
Works perfect! Gaming is 2x better with it gone now!

Hide Bottom Bar
Alternatively, use this.
Grr, sorry, mainly a lurker, and XDA won't let me post a link. Search for 'Hide Bottom Bar' in the play store.
Requires root, works well for me for gaming and ebooks.
Are the cm roms stable?
Yeah, they're pretty stable, even the nightlies.

Cool thanks think I'll wait for the stable though skip the nightlies

Add this line to your build.prop.
qemu.hw.mainkeys=1
It makes the phone think it has capacitive buttons and disables the nav bar.
then just use LMT Launcher to navigate though the phone.
LMT Launcher-http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1330150
I use the app full screen toggle then I use button savior to take place of the soft keys the top pic is with my soft keys still hidden look at the lower right to see an grey arrow by my l key. The second pic the soft keys are now out. Notice I still have my my status bar which u don't get with using full screen mode on roms like cm.

Hello. I just moved to ICS, and I'm doing some modding in it.
There's one thing I don't like and that is the spacing/padding on the left and right side in some (most) menus.
Does anyone know how to remove this?
Let me illustrate with a mockup:

"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
The left is how it is, and the right is how I'd like it.
Any ideas?
Thanks,

It might be a value in dimens.xml from framework-res that you need to edit. I can't say for sure. Play around with the values and see what you get.
And, how did you got it removed on the second screenshot? may I ask

Well, it may be for some but not for me. Nice photoshop skills you have there. Back on topic, that has just happened to me once and was because I moved the DPIs to a lower value, but it seems it has nothing to do with your problem ~
