Apex launcher - Samsung Galaxy Nexus

Hi guys, I've recently been trying out Apex launcher and somehow I have lost the shortcut icon that launches the app drawer from the home screen in the dock. Anyone know what I've done? Is this a bug? A setting? Anything I can do to get it back?
Thanks for any help/tips

[Q]How to use minimalistic text on the galaxy nexus

Basically I would like to know how to activate it? do i need a launcher?
thank you for the help in advance
Guess it's just not working with the new way of ICS how widgets are set up.
Long-press on the homescreen doesn't work and there are no signs of the app in widget tab in the app drawer.
Haven't checked a new launcher though.
Just installed from market and been using it since i got the nexus works perfectly..
So how do you setup new widgets?
Are you long pressing the screen for your widgets?

A lot of widgets seem to need a restart to show in the app drawer. Restart and you'll be good to go.

Can you set up a weather widget as just text?

Recent apps style help.

I have nova launcher installed and when I press the home key to go to recent apps the style used to be vertical but now it's horizontal.
Anyone know how to change it back?

If you're running AOKP it's a setting under ROM Control.

Launcher without home screen (just the app drawer)?

Does anyone know of a launcher without home screens (just the app drawer) that is compatible with the nexus 7?
I`ve used mihome on my galaxy Ace and somehow it is incompatible. I'm not an apple fanboy but i just like my devices to go to the app drawer immediately.
Any tips? Thanks.

Why don't you just add the apps to your homescreen? Using Apex and setting your columns and rows to 10X10 you should be able to fit a bunch on your homescreen.

Have a large grid and put everything on the home screen. And when you install apps from the play store they'll just be added to the home screen.

*face-palm*
Why Didn't I Think of That? lol. Thanks for the tips!:highfive:
ssLauncher. Put anything on your home scrreen. Has an "app drawer" page that can be list or grid. Can hide any apps in app drawer. Can delete all your other screens. Can place icons anywhere (no grid) with auto align feature. Got it "free" with my play money, but well worth $3.69, try the free version first.

How to get app drawer icon on the home screen?

Does anyone know how to add the app drawer icon to the home screen?
I have attached a link to a home screen image showing the app drawer in the top right corner.

Easiest way is to use a custom launcher such as apex or nova and put it in tablet mode.
For launchers, tablet mode is what they used to call it when the drawer icon was in the top right corner and there was no dock.
It's not used by default even on actual tablets now, at least on the stock launcher.
ya use nova launcher prime

Thank you for the info. Do you know why they have gone away from the tablet mode on the more recent tablets?

Task Switcher button issue

Hi
When I press the task switcher button from the Android bar. Once every a few times... It doesn't work. The button is pressed (I can see the white animation) but it doesn't do anything . I think it's only happening when I am on the launcher home page. not in an app.
Is it something with Kitkat or I am the only one with this problem?
I just have to alternate between the home button and the task switcher a few times and the issue is there...
I am on stock with Nova launcher but I have the same issue with the stock launcher too.
Any idea?
