I have nova launcher installed and when I press the home key to go to recent apps the style used to be vertical but now it's horizontal.
Anyone know how to change it back?

If you're running AOKP it's a setting under ROM Control.

Hey guys, running stock ICS 4.0.2 on Vz Nexus. I'm using ADWLauncher EX but I prefer the stock ICS app drawer. Can anyone tell me how I can create a custom shortcut in ADW to launch the stock app drawer?
I tried Custom shortcut, Pick Your Activity, Activities, but from there I can't find the ICS app drawer.
Thanks!
I would like this feature too but suspect it is down to the developer of the launcher to add it to the options of app drawer preferences.
That would b good

Bump...still looking for an answer to this if anyone can shed some light. Thanks!
not possible. the stock app drawer is built into the app and theres no way to access it outside of the app.
additionally, as found by the developer of the Nova Launcher, unless the home app is a system app the widget menu won't work.
basically your just going to have to wait until Ander adds it into ADW or someone makes a new launcher from scratch based on the new launcher.
Hi guys, I've recently been trying out Apex launcher and somehow I have lost the shortcut icon that launches the app drawer from the home screen in the dock. Anyone know what I've done? Is this a bug? A setting? Anything I can do to get it back?
Thanks for any help/tips

Have you tried going into the app drawer>menu>edit and dragging an icon off and replacing it?

That's how you do it for sure, but you should try while on the homescreen long pressing the old msging app and see if you can drag it to remove. Then you can drag and drop the gv app in the open spot. The stock ics launcher allows you to do it that way so you don't have to go into the app drawer and then menu then edit. I'm not sure if the TW launcher can do that though. I haven't used that launcher since GB. I'd be curious to hear if you can.
The TW launcher won't let you, I just tried it.

And ya I double checked, it is Applications > Menu > Edit
It may tell you that you need to change the app drawer to customizable grid, just click ok.
This may be a stupid question but how do you manage the screens?, I'm trying g to have just one screen and delete the rest but I can't seem to find where I would be able to do that

You mean the number of home screens? Just use Nova launcher to edit to your preference

I was thinking that, but when using the navigational bar tweak, and you press the home button in it, it switches back to the default luncher and not nova, the ROM doesn't come with a default screen manager?

Press the menu button and then Manage apps. Go to All then scroll down to Launcher and select that. Once in there go down to Clear Defaults and select that. Press the home button then you'll be prompted to choose a default launcher, choose Nova. Done. When you start with a freshly installed ROM you have a choice of the stock launcher or Nova. The stock launcher doesn't have any customization, that's what you chose

Is there a way to hide the status bar/expanded desktop on a stock/tw ROM while still being able to see "Recent Apps"(long press home) and also "Expand Notifications"(through PIE chevron target).
On AOSP/AOKP, you can enable Expanded Desktop via Power Menu(long press Power button) and still be able to select Recent Apps and Expand Notifications no problem.
On stock/tw ROMs, I setup "hide status bar" through GMD Gesture Control but it seems to be just killing the System UI process because also incoming calls ring the ringtone, but don't pop up on the screen. VERY ANNOYING lol any suggestions?

TW is a love/hate thing for me...
Hiding status does exactly what you describe. The UI is disabled, and the functions simply stop working all together. ( Hey SAMMY !!...that was a cheap trick)...LOL
The only way I know to get the function you want, is by using the AO builds. Stock TW builds or our variants do not have this function baked in, to my knowledge....g
Are you willing to use a different launcher? Nova allows you to hide the status bar
