I use Modaco IR12 with franco.Kernel overclocked to 1384.
I get a quadrant score around 3400 which I thought was pretty good.
Until a friend of mine upgraded his Galaxy SII to ICS and now gets around 4000 running stock...
What is your score?
Why is mine so "low"?

I havent run it on this phone, but my last phone got just over 4000 in Quadrant. Anywhere between 4000 and 4100
Because we have a huge screen.
And an outdated gpu.
Both of which I knew when buying the phone...and you should have too.
The Nexus is a software running beast.
That should be why you own it...not for it's tech specs (at least to some degree).
Also, quadrant scores have absolutely no impact on how well the phone performs.
Compare the two against each other and see which one lags less...
(Although this may be hard...the SII is an excellent phone as well).
The highest score I've hit was 2999 with Manhattan IC112 and franco.kernel with the CPU OCd to 1600 MHz
Because Exynos just destroys any other SoC out there really. Yes the GPU is outdated, but this phone is for enjoyment of pure AOSP, and runs smooth enough. Don't even worry about benches breh.
It....it's......it's....OVER 9000!

hey my quadrant score of 1 is the best.. means i'm #1 right?
Usually score around here...
for some odd reason i cant get pass 2030 on my galaxy nexus on stock 4.0.4. is anyone else having these scores? i know they dont mean much but most people i thought got much higher then 2030.
I really don't think benchmarks tell you what you're phone really is capable of, only what it yields though stress tests, and Quadrant scores can be faked.
I got slightly over 3000 with awesome IO scores using AOKP Milestone 5.

Haha Franco your kernel is awesome.
Just ran Quadrant and got a 3186, not too bad. Using Liquid 1.4 at 1228 mhz, Franco kernal.
I think my OG Droid overclocked got around 990, or just over 1000.
Also getting about 2000. I'm not concerned about the GPU subscores, but what about that I/O score? It's very very low compared to all other devices. I guess this would change with a custom ROM like CM9?

I got 2800 on my EVO using CM6.1 RC1 with snap7.6 turbo kernel and thats running at 1.2 GHz. There is a new Snap kernel coming out too (Snap9). Quadrant should be close to or at 3000 with that new kernel.
1.9GHz is soooooooooo fast holy titties
how in the world do you overclock a cpu 225%?
clock speed means nothing, its just a number.
my x2 athlon at 3.2ghz wont compare to a current 2ghz, im happy for them they were able to clock it that high but benchmarks will show real world results
I couldnt be happier with my evo regardless of what others can do with their phones

I was informed at the store that the G2 is a next generation Snapdragon than what the EVO has and thus can be mad overclocked. However to achieve those speeds I promise they aren't running stock voltages. And yeah, they are close to cooking that baby.
Amazing that Amazon had the G2 for FREE with new service the other day.

It is easy to FaKE the scores lol!!!! Anyways it just a number and really dont mean much. I yet to really see a video of these number being legitament!!!
Fly like a G2
Holy BALLS. They OC'd that thing a whole 1.1Ghz... That's insane. I would NOT want to push that processor that hard though. That's reducing the life of the phone by a very significant amount, especially considering how these phones have such crap heat dissipation.

How, because the G2 is already underclocked down from 1.2GHz for battery saving reasons. Really only a 50% increase, which is still substantial as the EVO only overclocks 20%. You can't actually run it that high though, you can run it at around 1.45GHz, so its back at that 20%.
Also, my friend's HD2 hits 3500 in quadrant on the DesireHD rom. It hits 2000 underclocked at 500 MHz. He is running android off a class 6 card, but thats still some crazy scores. So our phones can hit that too if someone much smarter than me has some free time.
Any idea? Most reviews i saw for the GNex shows it getting 1700-2000+.
Meaningless or not, i wanna know why it's so much less.

I checked it right when I got the phone for the hell of it and got around the same number. The only thing I care about is if it will lag with daily use. If it doesn't I don't care if it has half a core and 1 byte of ram.
Quadrant scores are meaningless and don't give any indication of how the phone performs in real world use.
My old Galaxy S2 scored 4000+ in quadrant but does it feel 3 times faster than my Nexus definitely no!
Again, I don't care about what the test actually means but why are our scores so much lower on the same device compared to the reviews show? What is different and why? It leads me to believe that something is wrong.
I freaked too, but I think its bs. If you install System Monitor you can watch both CPU cores in action. Also, other bench tests clearly show that you're getting dual core performance. I think Quadrant will need an update.

I get around 1400+ as well in quadrant and I don't think there is anything wrong as when I first got my GS2 my scores where lower than what was seen online from reviewers as well.
Don't forget they probably had a phone with no extra apps on it or just the bare minimum which could also affect the scores.

I think it doesn't and it needs a desperate update anyway to fully support ICS.
Someone correct me if I am wrong about quadrant standard not seeing both cores?
It's the higher resolution mainly.

Okay, so the other day, i ran quadrant on my gs2 against my brohters gs4g and i got 3259 and my brother got 938. I tried again today, and i got 1208 and the gs4g got 1190. i ran the test seversl times and the same result, nothing more than 1300. I didn't change anything from the first time i ran the test, so is my phone messed up? I know most people don't really like quadrant, but i use it because it kind of gives me peace of mind knowing my phone is better thssn everyone else's

Quadrant doesnt go well with Dual Core Snapdragon Processors. I've been getting 2000 each time a ran it. Try ANTUTU Benchmark and see what you get.
Quandrant doesnt define a phone of how great your phone is.
Or CF bench works well!
SGSII T989~ juggernaut v4.1~synergy v0.10
Quadrant is a horribly outdated benchmark, don't rely on it ever.

I'll take what AnTuTu Benchmark gave me.. Listed me at 6327... Just over the Nexus ;-)
Main thing that brought me down as my stupid SD card because I have some generic piece of junk --- EDIT: Just ran it against the internal SD, and I got 6577. Even above the Galaxy Note ;-)
I know that quadrant is not optimized for dual core, but that doesnt explain why i was getting 3000+ and it just dropped to less than 1000
Btw antutu was 6492 idk if thats good or bad so...

These threads get so old. Does everything work on your phone? Is it smooth and responsive? Then who cares what some outdated benchmark says. You are the benchmark.
I changed the rom on my friend's mytouch 4g and he scored 3246 on miui oc to 1.6 ghz lagfree, It beat my gs2 running zombie oc to 1.72 ghz lagfree 2976 i dont think quadrant is an accurate benchmark at all, so markus is right, YOU are the benchmark.
I have recently gotten my first android phone, (samsung gio S5660) and decided to install a custom rom on it and root it. I now have CM9 and I overclocked it to 900Mhz.
However, I get 6.2MFLOPS on the linpack test and between 250 and 300 points for processor in the quadrant (standard) test (which takes forever), I feel this is a bit low do you guys agree? And what would cause it? Should I try another rom? if so which one would you guys recommend?
nothing. who cares about scores?
its about how your phone performs, not how it scores into such apps..

These scores represent how my device performs during their tests, 3d wise its all ok, but the CPU seems to be slow which is noticeable when browsing the web for example (this is a guess tho, since I have not experienced any other android devices.)
I also experience some lagg in other applications and I wish for my device to run it as smooth as possible.
So, does anyone know why my CPU is getting these low grades? Or if I should move on to another ROM? Or if this speed is to be expected from a gio.
How are your cpu frequences set?
Sent from my GT-S5660 using xda premium
Frequencies?
using setCPU I set the max frequency to 902 and min to 122, it has no effect on performance when I change the 122 to 902. I have set the "governor" to performance.
try delanoister BNC rom
I get on quadrant test 2576 point

LOL, the browsing in CM9 is just slow. It is beta. If you want a faster ROM (for now only) go flash CM7, its butter smooth.

Yeah, decided I would flash CM7 after an other rom did not flash well. Works like a charm CPU scores have gone up from 6MFlops to 11 and from 300pts to 800. Browsing works snappy and games work better.
Thanks guys for the help.

I know you shouldn't trust benchmarks too much, however I benched alot of times and I felt these marks where valid as in that they where twice as low as I was expecting them to be. Also the lagginess of some parts of the system made alarm bells go off.
However now it's fixed, and my gio is steaming ahead.
Thanks once again guys.
Greetings!
Just curious about what you guys are getting and what ROM/Kernel and speeds you are using.
My best score is:
Normal: 4257 Extreme:3060
This is running 1.8Ghz and 800Mhz CPU (Perseus kernel). Amnospherum Rom.
With saber kernel I only get
Normal: 3065
Extreme: 2351
Running 1.92Ghz and GPU stock speed since the ocing is broken for the GPU.

Rom is bone stock UCAMA4...4.1.2....un-rooted.
Not bad !!
Well above average scores according to the comparisons.
I'd better run this for a while. ...g
I also get similar scores as you all, but the biggest factor is our GPU we are running a older version of drivers witch is 2.0 GL the nexus for example is running a 3.0 open GL.
It's also running 4.2 while I'm still at 4.1 not sure if that has anything to do with but on that 3d mark it gives you a graph. Processors at 11125, Graphics at 2356. I've seen the nexus graph at we beat the processor hands down our GPU in the other hand is found lacking. Nexus processor 9522 GPU 10119.
Not even sure if updating the GL version will help or its in the hardware.
